Asmodai looks over at Volo and friends and says, "You guys don't need to share a pint, I'm sure there's plenty to go around...". To the Paladin and Earth Genasi, "My story is a long and cruel one, nothing to be discussed during times of celebration. However, if time permits, and you guys accept me as part of your group, there may be plenty of time to tell that story. As for what I can do to help the "Haunted Tavern", I am a man who's been around this crazy town for quite some time, I may know people who would be willing to help, and if not, I'm really good at convincing others to lend a hand."  To the rest of the table, "To the thorn in Xanathar's side and your many conquests to come..."  He raises his glass and lets out a deep and loud, "PROST!!!" A little less loudly and with a smile on his face showing one of the lightest parts of his body, his teeth, he says, "And what are your names, may I ask?"

Jal says to Soar, "I may as well try and make some money." He then exclaims, "Anybody want to see a trick? Just give me a bathtub and three hours!"

Jal gets modest interest from the crowd, but not from anyone with a tub to offer. Durnan would probably not look kindly on the selling of outside drinks in his tavern in any case, assuming homebrewing was what you were planning.

Asmodai asks the (human?), "Are you going to drown yourself, or maybe someone else?"

Jal replies to Asmodai, "That was EXACTLY what I was going to do!" (I was not planning on brewing here)

”The name’s Dwaye” Dwaye refuses the beer, he says he doesn't like it too much, and he needs to be sober right now. If it's early enough in the day, and after Dwaye signs the deed, Dwaye will say ”Welp, I'm off to go do some pit fighting, we have to earn that money somehow, you guys take care of the manor without me, don't break anything” Before walking away to go do some pit fighting (The Boxing/Wrestling kind) for the rest of the day. (Do I have to make rolls to see if I succeed in pit fighting?)

(First you'll have to find a venue; maybe an Investigation roll to ask tavern patrons about places with underground fighting? You can do that now, it'll not be until the morning that you can go get the deed transferred over though.) (We can handle pit-fighting just with Athletics rolls, but I think actual combat would be more interesting, if a bit more work, don't you think?)

Asmodai responds to the Dwaye, "Auf den Erfolg!!!" ("To success!"). To the (human?), "Just as long as it's not me you're trying to drown, if you have others in mind though...".

Jal replies, "I will be the only one submerged unless anyone challenges me." Jal asks Durnan, "How much would it be to rent a room with a tub in it?"

Durnan expresses interest in Jal's claim. "I can provide a room for free; I want to see this."

Jal replies, "Well, thank you. ANY WHO WOULD LIKE TO WATCH, MAY FOLLOW!" Jal goes up to the room after Durnan to show off. He enters the tub, fully submerging himself, as though nothing has changed, except that his clothes have gotten wet.

While Gibbon is talking to Durnan; He notices a large conglomerate of of people enter the building. After hearing a bit of the party's conversation with Volo and Asmodai, He Grabs both of his pints and walks over to the party's table. But not before saying, "Well's it's been a treat catching up with you, Good talk!" To Durnan. Upon arriving at the party's table he places his drinks down on their table and introduces himself. "Pardon me intrusion, But I couldn't help but over hear that the lot of you have come across the deed to ye Trollskull Manor."

Durnan bids Gibbon a goodbye, and heads up to the room with Jal and some onlookers.

"You start turning blue, no guarantee we pull you out, got it?" Durnan pulls out a stopwatch and starts it, and a crowd of interested bar patrons are taking bets on how long Jal lasts.

Volo smiles at the wee bagpiper. "Well met! These four (he nods to Dwaye, Soar, Alton and Erik) [I hope I'm remembering who was involved in rescue of Floon correctly] and have done me a great service, and to reward them I am transferring over the rights to the Trollskull Manor to them tomorrow morning! They're looking to renovate it, reopening it as a tavern; perhaps your bagpipes would be welcome entertainment there?"

Jal just puts his thumb up.

Asmodai finishes the rest of his ale and follows the (Human?) and Durnan.

(I'm trying to go to one of the boxing/wrestling matches put on by the church, do I still have to make an investigation roll to see if I find it? Or can I skip that because it's not underground? Roll if necessary: 15. And yeah, I think it would probably be more fun/involved if we did combat)
