Jal tugs the rope.

"Alright then, so what are we doing here in this well? Sounds like the kid lost a pet." Deadeye ask as he helps grab the end of the rope.

"He found him! He found Mitts!", Timmothy cheers! "See if you can get him to come to you."

(Jal, make an Animal Handling check if you want to try to coax Mitts to come to you. I guess Persuasion might also fit the bill if you prefer.)

(Also, you might make an Insight check to figure out what has Mitts so frightened...)

Jal tries to coax the cat to come down.

The cat hisses, swats it's free paw, and climbs higher up the cavern wall, out of reach of Jal's hands.

The cat isn't afraid of Jal, though; Jal doesn't know this, but the cat is afraid of being down on the ground with the Jal.

Jal, sensing the gator with almost psychic sense, strikes at the beast's mind psychokinetically!

The albino sewer alligator's save: 5

The gator takes 7 psychic damage! The gator acts stunned for a few seconds, then with a rumbling growl bares its teeth and makes it's way towards Jal!

Timmothy is surprisingly unsurprised by hearing a voice inside his head, but he is gravely concerned about Mitts and Jal!

Jal uses Psychic Assault's Psionic Blast to do 13 psychic damage to the alligator.

The poor gator's brain is blanked; it slumps down to the ground, comatose. (Combat over; now get that cat and get out of there before something else finds you!)
