Jal gets the cat and starts running for the well, yelling to bring him up.

"Lets get him out, and dont yell, your telethapy is still in my head."

Athletics (if needed to try and pull rope again):8

This time the cat willingly leaps into Jal's arms; cat in hand, he yells for the crew up above to hoist them up. "Deadeye" definitely holds his own in the pulling. In short order, Jal and Mitts are surface-side once more.

Asmodai starts pulling the rope up as fast as he can.

Timmothy rushes to embrace Mitts and Jal in turn. "Oh thank you thank you thank you! You're now my best friend in the world, tied with Mitts of course!"

He then addresses the party that has gathered. "So I don't have any money to give you to show you how thankful I am, but there's something I want you to have." Timmothy pulls out the two lockets hidden beneath his shirt. "My mum gave one of these to me. She was a craftsmage, back when she was alive; she enchanted these lockets. They're magic; when you wear one you can talk telly-pathic to whoever's wearing the other! I'm keeping the one that has a picture of my mum, but I want you all to share the other locket between yourselves, so we can always stay in touch no matter how far away you go!" He smiles an honest smile, giving Mitts and the rest of the party more hugs.

Timmothy sticks with the party for a bit longer until it gets late and he has to return to his adoptive mother for dinner; come what may, you have made a friend for life.

(It is getting dark; Volo, Renaer and Floon take their leave of the Yawning Portal for the night, with Volo reminding the party to meet him here tomorrow to get the deed to Trollskull Manor signed over.) 

Asmodai tells the rest, "Well, if anyone's going with me to the Dock Wards, let's head over to the Yawning Portal and pick up anyone else who wants to go. Then we head off to catch this bastard!"

"So anyone know where I can get a good nights sleep, been traveling a while to get here. Also dont think I introduced myself, the names deadeye. And did you say docks?

Deadeye pulls down his cloak and shows his green feathers with yellow red highlights. His piercing red eyes shine like steel cold metal. 

Jal replies, "You're welcome! Anytime, kid. I think the Birdman deserves the locket."

Janus made his way to the well. "I thought that saving the kitten was taking a bit long. I made my way here to make sure nothing had gone wrong, but I can see that you have been successful in your current endeavor." He says with an emotionless face. Janus's emotions are not easy to read on his face as his demeanor is often very even keeled.

Jal follows Asmodai (just realized now, sounds an awful lot like Asmodeus)

Timmothy leaves a message on the locket: Hi, just checking that the locket still works, good luck catching the bad guy tonight! Mitts sends his regards.

"I didnt do much, dont give me the amulet, so if were all going to the bar I guess ill join, I could use a meal if its still opened.

Deadeye follows on even though he knows the way to the bar and can fly. 

Asmodai says "Since Janus and Soar are here, I think we'll just head to the Dock Wards. I don't believe there was anyone else that wanted to go with us."

(Ignis was interested I believe.)

(Then I recant that. We will still head to the Yawning Portal. I was under the impression Ignis was going to be the Ghost Buster.)

(I'm busting ghosts after busting the murderer. For the ghostbusting, should I bring salt and iron?)

(Bring anything, but don't cross the beams!!!)

The Yawning Portal is indeed serving dinner this late; Deadeye gets a hearty meal served by Bonnie the barmaid.

The Docks Party gathers at the Portal; they find Ignis, who joins them. (Who all is taking part in the Endangered Elf Protection action, and let me know when you are all ready to head to the Docks Ward.)

(Asmodai is ready to go when everyone else is.)

Jal changes his Psychic Focus to Precognition giving him advantage on initiative rolls.

Jal says, "I'm ready to go save some of my brethren."
