Rider scrunches his face a bit, “Now hold on! I go through the trouble of helping you people, and this is the thanks I get? I gotta tell you, this is the second... mm, no, third worst welcome that I have received in a long time!”

 Rider tilts a finger to Sarai, “Not wrong, low bar to clear.” He stretches, “Anyway, I’m still in a fairly good mood today and I have places to be, so fine. I’ll let you know. You all alerted something that was keeping watch here, flew off about half an hour ago.” He prepares to step out of the window outside but turns to you all, “As a word of warning, Archer’s changed. His Noble Phantasm seems to have changed.” He shrugs, “Meanwhile, I’m gonna go find that Lancer.” He squints off to the distance, “Punk stole my class. Anyway, bye!” He gives that same two fingered salute he gave before and leaps into the air, chariot materializing beneath him.

As he leaves, Sarai shakes her head. “I still want to shoot him. These Servants with their immortality... is it not the point to get rid of them?” She looks around. “Present company excluded.”

She bangs the rifle against something hard.

Assassin interjects, “He’s not immortal.” She yawns, “Everyone summoned as a servant has, at some point, died somehow. It’s an end point that we all have, and it’s one that we all reach at the end of this.”

Imani shrugs. "We've been stumbling blind into a lot of nefarious plots lately. We made a pretty solid plan for the tower the other night before we completely abandoned it, but," she glances apologetically at their servants, "we're just outgunned in a lot of ways."

She pauses to think. "Let's finish checking out these rooms. I for one am not ready to assume that Margrave is dead for good. After that, I say we set up our base and let the others come to us for a change."

Sarai nods. "Servants, first," she bows Dream and Caster ahead. Then she examines her rifle one more time. "Something is jammed..."

Oz agrees, and this time has Caster accompany him as they search the rest of the mansion.

 Well, you are familiar with an expanding Noble Phantasm. However, certain Noble Phantasms can indeed have certain parameters that must be completed. Furthermore, it’s possible that Archer has simply elected to use a different Noble Phantasm. Rider’s wording was vague.

As the rest of you search the rest of the house, you don’t find much of value, other than further confirmation of a blood bath. It would appear that the battle raged throughout the house, although it is looking less like a battle and more like a one-sided horror flick as time goes on. You find the bodies of the remaining maids and servants whose ghosts you... appeased. However, what exactly happened here is just a bit unclear. From Caster’s analysis, that Boneclaw creature was definitely the bloodier culprit, however the disintegrated body you fought definitely seems within Allison’s abilities...

Oz slings his coat over his shoulders, “Regardless of all this, we should move. If Rider was telling the truth, then Archer might just blast the house apart from a distance if something is alerting him. C’mon, let’s head back to the base.”

Assuming that you all follow along, its a fairly quick trip back.

You all see...

The area around where the home base had been previously is now a medium-sized copse of small hazel trees and one conifer, their branches covered in moss. Ferns and bluebells cover the ground around the trees.

Sarai stands there, in her human form, nonplussed. "Well, that'll be difficult to explain away." She waits to see what of the new flora Imani will choose to obliterate with her tower.

I assume that Imani will release the Instant Fortress into the clearing as she did.

The question remains, what’s the plan?

"The remaining masters will be consolidating power, assuming they have heard of Allison's demise," Caster mutters. 

Imani does, in fact, release the instant fortress. 

She nods in agreement with Caster. "We haven't made much progress, have we? We still have the monkey king, the king of the world, that rune nerd and his big friend, and the saber servant to consider. Plus, I'm the only one banging this drum, but I still say that necromancer isn't out of the running just yet."

It's only been hours, but she feels like months have passed since their last fight. She closes her eyes and concentrates on the Living City, feeling the gathering heartbeats of the people in the city below her. "What was this fight to you, dad?" she mutters to herself. "

Virgil, who has been resurrected, pats you on the head. He’s not meeting your eye contact if you look at him.

Sarai enters the tower, putting her guns down. "We really haven't made much progress. Maybe I hitched my nest to the wrong pair of mages," she jokes. "We could use a victory."

Oz stumbles and almost falls over before leaning heavily against the wall, holding his head in his hands and taking deep breaths.... "been standing for what seems like months, heads foggy as well...memory hazy... low blood sugar?"

something seems odd about Oz, he feels almost like a completely different person but the same as ever. The feeling reminds you all of when an actor gets swapped between seasons or episodes of a t.v. show.

Imani spares a glance for her companions (Virgil in particular- surely familiars shouldn't be so moody...), then heads to the upper level of the tower. "Oz, you and Caster should reset the traps or whatever it is you call them. Sarai's right- we have a long way to go if we're going to ki-," She pauses. "Yeah, fine- if we're going to kill the others, then we need to be better prepared. No more Scooby Doo nonsense."
