Warbeak nods, "That is sensible, but it is rare for Masters to work together, at least long term. You two are... unusual. Caster can probably survive a first blow, but we cannot negotiate our way to the Grail. Besides, if we cause damage out here, the city itself is spared..."

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.
Caster muses, looking just past Oz' left ear as he speaks. "It is a possibility, Master—though if we teamed up, would we not stand a better chance?"
"Well if you think you can handle him, I don't see a point in skirmishing. Let's put that guy out of the running right now." He motions everyone to huddle around. "Here's the plan. Caster goes up the middle and engages. No hiding, just open assault. Assassin, you stay out of sight and flank left. Look for an opening and end the fight quick. Caster will try to force that opening. Warbeak..." He tries to stifle a snort of laughter and fails. "You flank right and be our eyes. Stay low and look for that things master. Imani, you go with Warbeak and take out that master. I'll assist where needed and will follow behind Imani."

Imani frowns. "Caster IS the contingency. We need to stay near enough to one another so that he can warp whistle us away if it's clear that we're outmatched."
"Shit," Warbeak says, as Caster begins his walk. "With me, girl," to Imani. She quickly casts Pass Without Trace and an aura of shadowy, muffled reality spreads out from her, enveloping Imani, Virgil, and Oz. She stays low and moves quickly to the left (the giant's right), keeping an eye on it, and scanning for Masters (or anyone else). Her rifle is at the ready, and loaded.
If they get to a position flanking the giant (within 120 ft, for Imani's eldritch blast) before all hell breaks loose, and before finding anything (like a Master), she will drop prone and train the rifle on the giant.
Perception: Passive Perception 22 to notice anything out of place, she's not focusing on any one place exclusively (let me know if you need a roll) Stealth: Warbeak, along with Imani, Virgil, and Oz, if they stay within 30' of her, are +10 to Stealth for the next hour (concentration)
OOC > with her original Stealth roll from #183 of 26, and the spell, her Stealth score is 36. I just had to brag.
Caster frowns. “Very well,” he mumbles, “I will try.” He hefts his new staff and begins to walk down the road, directly towards the giant.
As Caster begins walking toward him, the giant cranes his neck a bit, seemingly taking you in. At about 300 yards from him, he speaks up, yelling over, “So, which one are you?”
Imani feels Sarai’s spell take hold. She does her best to follow after the others, muttering a little plea for help to anyone listening as she does.
Stealth: 24
She eyes Virgil, who stares back at her with that blank stony expression. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, little frog. Do I have any blasty magic, or is it all just illusions?

Virgil rolls his arms a little bit, signaling “think.” You recall the similar wootinany of seemingly activating the special magic circuits on your arm. He seems to think you can do a damaging spell by drawing from that.
“You will find out soon enough!” Caster’s voice is projected far above his normal level of speaking, and his hair begins to whip about his face, as if blown by a wind that no one else can feel.
He keeps striding forward, taking long and purposeful steps.

The giant raises a brow and calls back over, “Alright. That’s vague and doesn’t answer my question, but go on.”

Caster walks up to about 400 feet away from the giant and then stops walking, his hair and tattered robes now blowing in the breeze that seems to blow only around him.
”If you wanted to know so badly, then you’ll know that it’s only polite to introduce yourself first.” Caster’s deep, gravelly voice booms. “So then...who are you, and why do you stand in my way?”
The giant relaxes his arms and rolls his neck, calling back over, “Very well.” He extends an arm to his side as winds buffer the landscape around him. Prana condenses in his hand as it stretches and bends. In a flash of light, the giant hefts an absolutely massive greatbow onto his shoulder. The bow itself is of an esoteric and ancient design, yet is beautifully carved down to the detail. Meanwhile, the grip is wrapped in beast hide. The bow itself is equally tall as it’s owner and could be easily wielded as a club by lesser creatures, if they could even wield it. The giant calls back over, “The weapon upon my shoulders should make it clear. I am the Archer servant, one of the three knight classes, and the undisputed king of humanity. I say once more, you are you.”
