Druhdaar speaks to Taran and Vishal (put in spoilers if you wish to retcon, Ash), and the six of you return to your hiding spots.
Nearly an hour later, Juhaan sees a lone figure making their way up the road. As they get closer, it becomes apparent that it's a young man with blond hair and ashen skin. He nods to Juhaan face cautious. "Reztai. I'm Jharee."
Jharee points a hand at the ground, and a spray of dark green mist appears, wilting a small patch of grass. Jharee shrugs. "That sort of put an end to my nice, peaceful life as a farmer. I barely got away from the Thousand Eyes agent that showed up."

Vishal nods in agreement with Druhdaar before turning to the new arrival and giving him a once over for signs of deception and such since he mentioned a Thousand Eye agent. He then gives the refugee a reassuring smile and says “You’re good now. And I need you to stay still.” He then starts to ritually cast Detect Magic.
Taran felt a twinge at seeing the man's magic, but quickly focused on the important facts. Jharee was the last refugee they were expecting. That meant they should break camp soon and begin fleeing toward the border. Mr. Druhdaar and the Esteemed Vishal had asked him to scout their path ahead, avoid traps and set the pace. The Esteemed Vishal would keep an eye on the refugees and Mr. Druhdaar would cover their escape and deal with pursuers.
But, their shouldn't be pursuers if Taran did his job properly. He was the weak link in the party, but he had been training for his entire life, he'd be able to handle getting to the border in a day. The refugees though? They would likely slow them, so, he'd have to strengthen them now to give them the best chance.
He pulled the rope harness free and called out to the hidden people.
"Ev-everyone, we... we will be h-h-heading out soon. We need to m-move quickly. I-I am... I am trained in medicine, and, well, I've traveled outdoors a lot. I, uh, I need to inspect everyone's shoes and their feet. I might even need to wrap them in bandages before we go." Taran looks down, embarrased by his request but... This was something the group needed from him. They had more important matters like trying to find out if a spy had infiltrated their ranks. "It, I know it sounds weird, and maybe a little crazy, but, if I can help prevent injuries now then we can all get... Well, we can get to safety faster. Please?"
If rolls are needed, then I'll throw down the following, but Taran wants to take his time, be thorough, and if he can recruit some help for advantage, he'll take it. But, some guesses as to the rolls asked for.
Jharee seems to be telling the truth and be genuine. In addition, you sense one piece of new magic. Jharee's clothes appear to be radiating illusion magic.
Taran:
Most of the refugees are in fairly good shape, wearing simple shoes that can withstand travel. Lanan has heavy boots as a part of his armor. Dulamul, however, has a long scratch along his left ankle and calf, probably from a dagger or long thorn.
The refugees all let Taran examine their shoes and feet. However, as Taran approaches Sulaan and Shiazala, Sulaan requests quietly, "Could you check her feet without touching her? She's still pretty nervous, and I don't want to scare her. If I could do any physical contact parts of it-under your instruction, of course-I think it would be better."

Vishal gives his best smile to reassure the refugees that nothing is wrong but turns and attempts to hide his eyes from all the refugees as they slowly start to glow blue and he darts his eyes around to all his Road companions.
“I know you don’t like this and I’m sorry but Jharee is radiating illusion magic.”
I'll bandage up Mr. Dulamul, making sure to apy a salve to the wound. Staying quiet, in case this is something he doesn't want revealed, Taran will ask "How did you get this wound? I do not wish to pry, but knowing the source of the wound and how long ago you suffered it will help me to treat you and let me know the chances for infection."
Taran will slowly shake his head at Sulaan, and for the first time you've seen Taran denies someone. "I'm sorry, Mr. Sulaan," he says, carefully stating each word, "I understand your concerns, but there are structures in the foot I would need to feel to be accurate, and if bandages are neccessary to prevent blistering then a mistake in the wrapping would cause her more pain. I must do this myself."
Then Taran will turn to the young girl, crouching down to her level and make eye contact with the young girl. "Miss Shiazala, I'm very sorry. I know this is all very scary. If we were at the Temple then my friend Sim would check your feet. She'd make silly jokes until you giggled while she worked, and then she would slip you a sweet treat, even though she isn't supposed to. But, I'm not funny, and I didn't bring any sweets. But, I don't want you to get hurt and we are going to be walking a very long way. I'll need to check your feet every day, to make sure you don't get blisters or cuts. I won't lie to you, sometimes it may hurt, but I'll be careful and keep you safe until we get to the Temple. I promise. Okay?"
Edit: (OOC: It took Vishal 10 minutes to cast that detect magic. I'm thinking his warning comes as I'm dealing with these two, so Taran is in doctor/don't scare kid mode. He's going to tense a little bit and bev ready for trouble, but not react violently... Yet.)
Insight, maybe advantage for medical. His body language is making me (the player) suspicious. 1813
"Thank you for trusting me, Miss Shiazala. Go ahead and sit down over here." Taran keeps his voice steady, calm. Panic wasn't allowed. Nothing was allowed except his knowledge of medicine and treatments. Master Lukaan had been very clear in his training.
Still, Taran gauged the distance between Shiazala and Jharee. It may turn out to be nothing, a simple misunderstanding, but if it turned to violence... He'd do what he had to.
But for now, he focused on the young girl. Taran knew the Riedrans saw the people of Adar as Demons and worse, but Sulaan's reluctance... Again, maybe nothing, but Taran resolved to keep a close eye on the young girl just in case. And surreptitiously keep an eye out for anything out of place.
16 medicine to see if I notice anything while examining Shiazala's feet and ankles.
"The relevant equation is: Knowledge = power = energy = matter = mass; a good bookshop is just a genteel Black Hole that knows how to read." - Terry Pratchett
Dulamul seems to be being truthful about the nature of his wound. He also still seems incredibly nervous and twitchy.
Shiazala is completely still during the examination. Taran finds nothing wrong or out of the ordinary.
Caelius:
Insight: Jharee is definitely lying about something. There have been (to you) distinct tells when he talks about the Thousand Eyes agent. In addition, he's holding himself more confidently than any of the other refugees (including Lanan), although he's doing a good job of hiding it-you doubt many people would notice. Also, the moment Vishal's eyes glowed, Jharee tensed slightly and is now subtly moving his hand towards his bag, clearly becoming abruptly much more cautious. This could be either because he has something to hide or because he's nervous about somebody reacting badly to his magical ability. Finally, you're not sure how long he's had his power, but he certainly showed more control over the poison spray then somebody with only a few days or weeks experience would have.
Arcana: You don't see any illusion magic from Jharee himself. Rather, every now and then you notice a shimmer from his clothes, as though they're enchanted with some form of illusion magic. It doesn't appear to be changing his appearance at all, you don't see any of the signs of illusion when looking at his face or hands.
Jharee frowns, briefly startled by Caelius's book, then speaks. "It was during free time one day. I was working on an altsen pattern, and...well," He points at the withered patch of grass. "That happened to it."

"You don't need to be nervous, Mr. Dulamul." Taran says, "I-I cannot possibly imagine how hard all of this has been for you, but you will be safe in Adar. The people are kind there. They understand how hard it must be to walk away from everything you've ever known. Once we are at the temple, you'll have space to figure out what you want to do."
Taran gives a small bow to Shiazala. "Thank you for your patience, Miss Shiazala. I am done now."
Then Taran will gather his things and move closer to Jharee and that possible escalation.
"A few months," Jharee explains. "I lived in the Nulakesh province, and it took time to get down here, especially since I went around the Borunan province...ogres, no thanks. It took me right past Dul Zeer though, hence...Thousand Eyes agent." He frowns again.
Taran:
Dulamul nods quietly, hand tugging absently at his collar.
