Akuma narrows her eyes at the now visible enemy and moves back down the hall towards the others, sliding beside Kaori and Druhdar (R1), moving to unleash a flurry if attacks on him, focusing the ki into her hands, her shadows emanating menacingly.

Vishal looks at the thing and says, "You've decided to mess with the wrong people, now die." His eyes flaring with energy as with a snap of his fingers a huge loud explosion of blue mystical fire surrounds the area engulfing him but ending just before any of his friends.

INT save from spell attack 21

The pain of the psychic attack washes over him, disturbing the surface, but not breaking the flow. The enemy revealed he fell back, firing a whalloping bolt to strike the prey while the Bir- Kaori, kept it distracted. 

Crossbow to hit: 22  Damage on hit: 11 sneak attack from ally 10   STR save vs prone, DC 10.

The Sorcerer was badly injured, and they needed the pack to take it down. His hand slipped into his bag, pulling out a vial of smelling salts for clearing the mind after a psychic assault. (Bonus action Healer's Kit: 12 )

And he kept falling back, retreating to the doorway to spread out in case of another assault. (Movement ends a i1 )

The dire wolf first yelps in surprise and pain as the psychic blast hits it, but instead of backing out it seems to become infuriated by the attack: the hackles on its back rise as it gives a low growl and snaps at the heels of the monster hovering above it.

** Diredruhd will use the Dire Wolf's pack tactics feature to attack with Advantage and tear this thing's legs off. Bite Attack Attack: 23 Damage: 12 ... If the attack hits, the wolf will try to drag the creature onto the ground (STR save DC 13 or prone condition) **

As Taran shoves the salts into Caelius’s face, Caelius takes a step back from the odor and signs,

 He looks up and down the hallway to find Shen.

Caelius shakes his head, still dazed by the spell. He moves down the hallway to f1.

Int save: 1

Khova curses and also looks for Shen's tracks.

"This way!" she tells Caelius, pointing in the direction he's moving and around the corner (left). She then starts that way, ending on B2.

The masked figure dodges the bolt and bite, inclining their head in a strange little motion. "You have been...surprisingly competent. I'll keep that in mind. Until next time." Their body dissolves into mist that flows towards a crack in the ceiling.

OOC: Druhdaar and Akuma may take AOOs. Everyone else, please hold your turn until they do so, as it may change the situation.

"No ... You stay!"

*Kaori stabs at them as they're dissolving into mist, hoping to distract them enough to keep them in place.*

Manoeuvre: none because heckin shield spell

Kaori, keep that combat dice, because he's using shield.

"No, I don't," the killer replies, white energy flashing in front of them and blocking Kaori's attack.

Whimpering with rage, the wolf snaps at the fiend's quickly disappearing form one last time, as it turns to smoke.

** AoO with Advantage / Pack Tactics Attack: 22 Damage: 10 **

Akuma narrows her eyes and moves to strike at him speedily before he can dissipate, narrowing her eyes menacingly. "You Coward."

Boop?: Attack: 15 Damage: 8

With a swirl of mist, the killer moves up through a crack in the wall and vanishes.

Out of initiative.

Caelius nods to Khova and turns the corner, looking for Shen.

Akuma hisses in annoyance and growls, moving to hit the wall with the palm of her hand. "God damn it!"  After a moment of fury, her wings dissipate into shadows that return to the tattoos on her arms and she turns towards the others, a dark infuriated look in her eyes as she weaves past, moving to head off down the halls after Caelius and Khova to locate Shen or any other victim around the area. 

Non passive aggressive survival check: 13

For a brief moment, he felt rage boiling in his chest, before it turned to shame and guilt. Too slow. Too weak. Too stupid.

A failure.

Taran swallowed back the feelings. Esteemed Shen was still in danger of bleeding out, somewhere. If he couldn't stop the killer, he would at least try and limit the victims.

He turned an ran, following Caelius, and potentially overtaking him. Hoping that he at least wasn't too slow for this.

OOC: 30 ft of movement gets me to C1, bonus action dash gets me around the corner with 20 ft remaining, and if I just have an empty hallway, I'll action dash another 30 beyond that)

The Dire Wolf sniffs furiously at the wall where their enemy slipped in, whimpers then starts sneezing with frustration. After a second, the wolf's shape shimmers and twists to give place for the familiar, frowning figure of the burly druid.

Druhdaar looks up at the crack in the wall, then turns towards Vishal: " Now, what in Khyber was that thing ? "

“I don’t know but I only have a little time to save the person if he killed again.” Vishal replies and quickly takes off towards the others.
