"I'll take my chances in the Tundra," the woman says stubbornly. She softens slightly and adds, "But maybe you'll have convinced me otherwise by the time we get up there."
"It's not Riedra or Adar, and it's closer than Syrkarn," the woman answers simply. "I'm not interested in being a part of the war. I just want to live my life."
"Like I said, maybe you'll convince me otherwise on the way," the woman says stubbornly. "But-"
She's interrupted by Carou, who clears his throat in a rumble. "If you are all agreed to at least travel together as far as the Tundra, you should start on your journey. The sooner you go, the less likely you will be surrounded by patrols, and the easier it will be to escape."
"H-He is r-r-right," Taran says repacking his supplies, "Th-Thank y-you a-a-again, Sl-Slopeseer. Y-You h-have d-d-done t-t-too much t-to aid st-strangers you b-barely know." Taran bows again, and prepares to leave
Akuma studies the woman quietly, head slightly tilted in thought for a moment before giving the group a thoughtful glance. "We're agreed to get to the Tundra at least. We can provide her some points and arguments for Adar along the way, as it is safer than the wilderness. But, ultimately, she is an adult and will make her own decision. But until then, Welcome aboard Liana." Akuma offers her hand to Liana for a handshake, the shadows dimming around her arms as to not intimidate her. Whether or not she accepts the hand shake, Akuma gives her an interested smile. "Do you need to gather anything quickly before we leave?"

Liana glances at Kaori. "Just living in Adar means you're a part of the war, if you ask the Inspired," she replies quietly. When Akuma talks to her, she hesitates, then shakes Akuma's hand. "No," she replies simply to the monk.
As they gather their things to leave Vishal casts Sending to send to Ranari an update on the situation: “Mission Failed. Dragon too strong. Nirdaya inspired was with her. Eliminated. Position compromised and being surrounded. Found refugee. Heading north to Tundra. Awaiting further instructions.”
Vishal tells the group, “Ranari instructs to head north, stay safe. They’re going to try and send an extraction team. I’m informing the Captain now.”
Vishal then uses the same spell for the Captain:
“Mission Failed. Being surrounded by inspired. Fleeing north. Ranari updated. Have a potential refugee. Extraction team possible. Stay safe. Will keep in contact.”
As the rest of the group begins to move, Caelius walks beside Liana, signing to her,
"It is fine that you do not want to go to Adar. The mountain air can be disquieting. The tundra is definitely better than Syrkarn, they are becoming more aggressive there. May I ask why you're fleeing?"

“Why not Khovair then? They’re the furthest from the war.” Vishal suggests
The woman looks caught off-guard by the question, but frowns. "I'm pretty sure they don't speak Riedran in Khorvaire."

"Liana," the woman says quietly, shifting uncomfortably under Vishal's gaze.

Get north, stay safe. Be on your guard. Inform captain of development. We will try to send extraction.
