As the camp slowly comes to life they can see Druhdaar's massive form sitting a little ways off: apparently the druid had taken the early morning watch and found a quiet, secluded spot from where he could both watch over his sleeping comrades and get a little time to himself.
As the group gets ready to move on, the big druid takes his place at the rear, scanning the trees until he spots what he's looking for.

Your bird does not see much trace of human life around.
The day of travel passes quietly, with you crossing the border easily and not spotting any patrols. As you make camp that night, the refugees settle around camp, most of them (other than Dulamul and Lanan) clearly utterly exhausted from the day's trek.

Lanan rises, not bothering to be particularly stealthy, and taking only his weapons and shield, and moves to exit the clearing.
The quiet trek is both a relief and terrifying to Taran. This seems almost too easy to be a mission for the Summit Road.
While he is preparing the camp and prepping of the evening meal, he sees Lanan grab his weapons and move to leave. Picturing the local terrain, Taran speaks up, "Mis-Mister Lanan? If-If you're l-l-looking to tr-train, there should be a d-dead tree a couple dozen yards to the west. It-um, well, it should be secluded enough that you won't b-be bothered. I-I w-w-was th-thinking of using it myself.... after supper. Wh-which should only be an hour or so, um, so you c-can get back in t-time for it to be fr-fresh."
"Why don't you go train with him Taran? I can handle dinner for a night." Vishal says aloud, a smile on his face, as he attempts to encourage Taran to go and keep an eye on the quiet soldier.
"Oh, I couldn't do that, Esteemed Vishal. I-I-I'd only get in Mister Lanan's way I-I'm sure. I'm... I'm still not very good." Taran goes from intense denial to a slight crestfallen look on his face, "It's best if I just handle the... the small tasks around camp, and, and then I'll work on my skills where I won't disturb anyone. That's my... that's the best thing for me to do at the moment I think. B-Besides, I think that if Mister Lanan wanted a sparring partner, he w-would ask someone far more skilled, like yourself or Miss River. H-He wouldn't w-wish to waste his time with som-someone like me."

“Give yourself more credit than that. You’ve done more work around here than just about anyone else. You’re going to make the rest of us look bad at this rate. You go do your daily training as well as keep Lanan company. I’ll handle the cooking and such that you normally do. Then after dinner maybe this time you can watch my dance practice. You missed a good practice yesterday.” Vishal replies attempting to persuade Taran to go and relax a little.
Esteemed Vishal's words from yesterday echo back from the chaotic stream of the battle. "You can do this" mixes with his words now, words of encouragement and praise. For the first time Taran realizes that it isn't just the Esteemed Vishal being a good leader by encouraging his weakest troop... he... he actually believes in him... believes he is...
Taran quickly swipes at his eyes as he feels the prick of tears beginning to form, though there is nothing he can do about the flush of embarrassment that splashes across his face and neck.
He can't meet the Esteemed Vishal's eyes, not yet but..."Of course, sir, I'll train with Mr. Lanan and be back in time for your practice... Um, if that is o-okay with you, Mr. Lanan?" He says as he gathers up his crossbow, shortsword and dagger, ready to lead Mr. Lanan to the spot he talked about.

Once Vishal sees the two of them heading out to train he turns to the rest of the crew, "All right everyone. I'm making dinner and such. Those of you who aren't used to trecking and are exhausted may feel free to relax and make sure to drink some water. We're offically over the boreder now so your dreams may start to be your own. Remember we're all here for you for that transition. We should reach our desitnation tomorrow." A smile is on Vishal's face to let them know that nothing is a miss as he turns to look at Dulamul and asks, "If you're not exhausted, and you're up for it, would you mind helping me with dinner?"

"You'll be fine. And plenty of help. Trust me." Vishal tells Dulamul a smile on his face. The two of them then proceed to work together to make dinner. Vishal instructs Dulamul to do things like digging a small pit while Vishal gathers some wood, cutting up a potatoe, and tasting the food and such. Vishal uses the ingridents from his rations to make a soup with some dried meat, potatoes, and carrots in it. It's nothing super special but its definetly the best that Vishal can do. Throughout the cooking process Vishal spends the time to encourage Dulamul in everything the shifter does and, to anyone watching for more than a minute too, Vishal is flirting which isn't too unexpected considering what has happened so far. Before the soup is done Vishal has Dulamul taste it one more time. With the information from this final taste Vishal uses presidigitation just to make sure all the flavors are balanced and there. Once done he doesn't serve dinner until everyone is present and can eat it while its still nice and hot.
After setting up his bedroll, Caelius walks over to where River is sitting. He waves to the kenku before motioning to the space next to her, clearly asking if it's alright for him to sit next to her.

Dulamul nods hesitantly. "Okay, but...I'm not sure how much help I'll be...this wasn't exactly anything I've ever trained for."

After setting up his bedroll, Caelius walks over to where River is sitting. He waves to the kenku before motioning to the space next to her, clearly asking if it's alright for him to sit next to her.
