"T-two of the vials were antitoxin, I gave one to Mr. Juhaan and Miss River. The third I haven't identified, b-but it was nasty. His clothes vanished."
Ranari nods, brow furrowed. "I see. Well, that'll be all for now. You're all released to wander freely around the monastery until I call you again. I'll let you know what we learn about the box as soon as we get something, and rooms have been provided for you that Tyhareth can show you to so that you can drop your things off." She stands. "I may call some of you individually to speak with me, for various reasons. And I'll send you all a message when the new Adarans you brought in have been released. Enjoy your time off-you've all earned it."
Players: You have one week IRL to explore Shalquar at your leisure. Enjoy!
Druhdaar remains quiet during the exchange with the trailblazer, seemingly lost in thought as Taran, River and Vishal relate the recent events.
As Tyhareth proposes to show them to their room he files along the others, and as he passes Taran he grunts:
" Going to find some ale after this. Being one of the good guys is thirsty work. You comin ? "

"I have one here. That Mr Taran kindly provided. I don't know if it is useful for your investigation" he asks
"Also, some downtime would be great. Anything we should be aware of here in the Monastery? Things of interest? Any particular laws we should abide?" he asks with a casual tone but with a glint in his eyes.
"The relevant equation is: Knowledge = power = energy = matter = mass; a good bookshop is just a genteel Black Hole that knows how to read." - Terry Pratchett
"That is very kind, Mr. Druhdaar, but I... Um, I need to keep sharp and, well, I don't drink alcohol....Sorry." He'd finish with a bowed head.
After making sure there is nothing else needed of him by the party, Taran would follow Tyhareth to their rooms and secure the majority of his belongings. He'd keep his armor (which you all have still not seen him take off) and a handful of hidden daggers though. Just in case.
Ranari nods in answer to Juhaan's question. "I don't think we'll need the vial, thank you Juhaan. The light chambers are excellent places to meditate upon the Path of Light, if you're interested. There are plenty of libraries and a small market as well. As for the rules...don't mess with the Shroud generator, don't bother the Master of the monastery, don't use violence on others, don't steal. The obvious stuff."
In each of your rooms is a bag with a note in Riedran that reads For supplies and relaxation. Opening it, you find two hundred gold pieces inside the embroidered bag.
The gruff druid shrugs at Taran's mention of abstaining from drink, simply saying:
" Suit yourself. "
As he gets to his chambers, he stares at the note and the pile of coins on offer.
" Money for the Just... Hooray. " he mumbles to himself with a little smirk of irony, but pockets it nonetheless. As for relaxation, he'd already planned that ever since he came into the walls of Shalquar. Meditation on the Path of Light could wait: time to do some serious drinking !
With lumbering steps, the big man makes his way in search of the fortress kitchens...

Taran's jaw drops once he sees the gold, thinking for a moment there must have been a mistake. But then he thinks of all he could use this gold for, it might not be as much as he might hope.
Still, he has ephedra, and he can finally afford the supplies he needs.
With a rare, brilliant smile Taran heads to find an apothecary and an alchemist, ideally someone who can supply both. His thoughts filled with the wonders of such things.
"I've been asked to borrow a lot of things, but my voice is a first." Juhaan says surprised "Sure, I have some time before I need to do my errands. And could use to train my accents. Lead the way Caelius"

"We found some vials that Taran has been working to identify. I believe he also has the box the spy used." Vishal answers
Taran nods and pulls out the box.
"T-two of the vials were antitoxin, I gave one to Mr. Juhaan and Miss River. The third I haven't identified, b-but it was nasty. His clothes vanished."
Taran Cragshollow (Summit Road)
Ranari takes the box, nodding thoughtfully as she traces the carvings, examining the designs cut into the wood. "Vanished how, precisely?"

Juhaan presents his vial of anti-toxin
"I have one here. That Mr Taran kindly provided. I don't know if it is useful for your investigation" he asks
"Also, some downtime would be great. Anything we should be aware of here in the Monastery? Things of interest? Any particular laws we should abide?" he asks with a casual tone but with a glint in his eyes.
Having watched the discussion carefully, Caelius stands as the group is dismissed. He tears out the page he was writing on and folds it into a pocket.
After dropping his stuff off, he looks for Juhaan.

Juhaan returns from his dorm and notices Caelius
He nods towards him "Are you looking for someone?" he asks
Caelius nods, pointing at Juhann. He pulls out his wordbook,
"May I B-O-R-R-O-W Your V-I-O-C-E? The N-E-W A-D-A-R-A-N-S Can Not R-E-A-D."
