Juhaan, alongside with Caelius, approaches the children.
"Caelius was just saying that you found friends fast Shiazala." He then turns to Sulaan "Good social skills. Fast to be integrated. I like that" he says happy
Taran looks at the map for the best shopping area, where he can find supplies, writing a shopping list as he goes.
(OOC: I'm looking for distilled alcohol as my first purchase, as a base for potions. Next, white phosphorus for a base, then basic alcohol and the oils (calcium grease the lowest?). If I could purchase reagents that would bev awesome, and I think I can buy materials for some alchemical stuff and by making them essentially buy them at half price.

Giving voice to Caelius words: "My colleague asks if you know where you will be staying. Either that or he's asking if you could sell him his pants." he shrugs

Caelius nods solemnly, “If She Does Not Talk A-G-A-I-N, I Know A P-L-A-C-E That Can Help. It Is K-I-L-B-I-L-N-A-R. They Have M-O-N-K-S Who Can Not H-E-A-R No-R S-P-E-A-K. They Help-ed Me Maybe They Can Help You.”

Taran organizes his thoughts and prepares his list as he walks towards the shop. He has enough, just barely, to give himself one attempt at each of the mixtures. He could instead attempt to double his chances for healing, but it would be better to craft items to prevent needing the healing instead.
He'd head into the shop at walk directly to the counter, knowing from experience that he had to declare his intent quickly, or he'd never get anything. Master Lukaan had often sent Taran alone to buy supplies for the class, in a hope to acclimate him to shopping.
"Hello, I need one vial of distilled alcohol, at least 85 proof, t-two packets of white phosphorus, seperated, two small jars of calcium grease, fresh p-please, and a packet of sulfur. Oh, and, um, the supplies to make, um, I think two bars of soap... I don't remember how expensive those components are, but I can spend at least two gold on them."Taran takes a deep breath, eyes flicking up to the shopkeep before focusing on the counter.
"A-a-also, I d-don't wish to be cheap, b-but I'm a green guide and these supplies are for-for my team. If you, um, if you have a standard discount for the road, then I'd... It would mean a lot... To me."
(OOC: If my math is right, that order should be 195 gold, plus the 2 gold from the soap for a total of 197. For those curious, if I succeed on the rolls, that will give me three one-use items. Just so you see why in the meta, I'd like to make a lot of money.)
Juhaan looks surprised at the information but conveys it anyway
"Caelius says that if she does not talk again, he knows a place that can help called Kilbilnar. They apparently have monks there who can't speak or hear and that they have helped in the past." Juhaan shrugs at the old man "That's what he is saying"
Sulaan looks at Caelius. "Thank you," he says sincerely.
Taran
The shopkeep nods. "Hundred and five for the bases and a gold for the soaps," she says. "I'll make it an even hundred and you can take an extra vial of alcohol."
"The relevant equation is: Knowledge = power = energy = matter = mass; a good bookshop is just a genteel Black Hole that knows how to read." - Terry Pratchett
Juhaan looks at the letter with attention and notices "Not bad, but you know I could forge a better letter right?" he says then adding "My colleague wishes to provide you with a letter of introduction, just in case."
"The relevant equation is: Knowledge = power = energy = matter = mass; a good bookshop is just a genteel Black Hole that knows how to read." - Terry Pratchett
Taran's eyes widen at the massive discount, and he'll immediately bow low, only just barely missing the counter in the proccess.
"Th-th-thank you."He'd say, "That i-is f-far too kind. If you have them then, um, I'd also take two additional healing kits. If it isn't too much trouble."
Already though, another thought entered his mind. He would have to make a second stop.
(OOC: Someone passing through had their phb. Turns out soap costs 2 copper, and since I'm making it, I half that. Which means I can now make 100 bars of soap. Which is most excellent)
Caelius approaches with a wave and a smile before turning to his book,
"She F-O-U-N-D F-R-I-E-N-D-S F-A-S-T!"
