Akuma manages to nick Vyed's arm.

Druhdaar lets out a roar of rage as he swipes in a plunging arch at Vyed's knees with his staff clutched in both hands, after which he pushes his weight into the assassin's guard and slams him with a boulder-sized forehead.

Vyed takes the hits without comment, the dark eyes sweeping across Druhdaar coldly.

Initiative Order: Akuma, Taran, Druhdaar, Vishal, Nirdaya, Vyed, Khova, Kaori, Caelius

Kaori is up.

"I am ... No toy." Kaori raises her sword fist to her chest, some magic that still remains inside her building up. Black energy begins to spread over her body in a quick pulse, healing almost all of the damage she just took. "I am ... Kaori ... and I am useful, I have value, and I will keep trying my best."

With another loud caw she slams her sword forward, purposely missing and scraping the ground beside Nirdaya. With his attention drawn to the side, Kaori does a delicate twirl and slashing up along his entire body at the start and finishing by plunging her sword into his chest, buried to the hilt. She cocks her head to the side, cooing and challenging him.

Kaori's blade slams into Nirdaya's vessel, and Nirdaya takes in a rattling breath. "Now I know...how you fight," she gasps out. "Watch your dreams...and your friends." A moment later, smoke flows out of him and forms into a dark shape, vaguely humanoid, but composed of hundreds of tendrils. A moment later, even that shape has dissipated.

The white haired vessel's gaze changes, losing the casual contempt that Nirdaya had and filling with pain and confusion. A moment later, his eyes glaze over, and his body falls to the ground.

"NO!" Vyed roars. "Faithless barbarians!"

Initiative Order: Akuma, Taran, Druhdaar, Vishal, Nirdaya, Vyed, Khova, Kaori, Caelius

Akuma, Taran, Vishal and Druhdaar are up.

Taran found himself stunned a moment from Kaori's bladework, before snapping back into the moment. They were still in incredible danger. He rushed forward, slipping past Kaori to toss a bag of his caltrops in the doorway just before the body of the Inspired. Slow down pursuit, then leave out a way they weren't expecting.

Taran turns, another poisoned walloping bolt loaded as he moves back into the room and fires on Vyed, taking advantage of their distracted state to aim the bolt center of mass.

(Not sure how much movement I used, but I figure it was around 20 ft total to pop out of the room and back in. Bonus action to toss caltrops out of the door. Also, do I see anyone approaching the room?

Crossbow shot: 7   for damage (sneak because allies adjacent) 14

DC 13 Con for Paralysis
DC 10 Str for Prone)

Taran's shot whistles past Vyed's head as he tosses the caltrops. Taran doesn't see anyone down the hall.

Initiative Order: Akuma, Taran, Druhdaar, Vishal, Nirdaya, Vyed, Khova, Kaori, Caelius

Akuma, Vishal and Druhdaar are up.

Akuma growls a little louder and continues her assault on Vyed. With intense slashes and strikes. The shadows continue to engulf her, her skeleton wings outstretched

Shortsword Attack: 5 Damage: 6

Flurry of Blows:

Skeleton wing stab to the temple: Attack: 7 Damage: 4

Knee to the groin: Attack: 24 Damage: 4

+4 damage from shroud.

“Oh shut up. The spirit still lives you hopelessly devoted puppet.” Vishal replies as he does his practices swipe with the chakram getting down into a defensive fighting stance that has changed some since the group last saw him fight.

Druhdaar joins forces with Akuma with another whack from his staff and a hook to the chin.

Re-roll Attack #1 with Inspiration : 19

Vyed takes Akuma's hits with another faint grunt before dodging Vishal's chakram and Druhdaar's punch, although the druid's staff strikes his arm. "The spirit lives, but you took the life of the divinely guided, altavar," he snarls angrily.

Initiative Order: Akuma, Taran, Druhdaar, Vishal, Vyed, Khova, Kaori, Caelius

Vyed focuses on Vishal this time.
Attack: 17 Damage: 7
Attack: 14 Damage: 12
Attack: 27 Damage: 11

Initiative Order: Akuma, Taran, Druhdaar, Vishal, Vyed, Khova, Kaori, Caelius

Khova reaches forward and closes a hand around Vyed's wrist, electricity jumping to the assassin's body.

Attack: 21 Damage: 4

Initiative Order: Akuma, Taran, Druhdaar, Vishal, Vyed, Khova, Kaori, Caelius

Kaori and Caelius are up.

Kaori turns towards the other figure as Nirdaya's vessel falls dead.

"You're next."

She darts towards Vyed and as Vishal falls unconscious, she's momentarily torn. Should she attack them and risk being ignored as they finish Vishal? Or should she stop to heal her friend?  Her momentary distraction leads to her strike being slightly off, but she uses the momentum and brief distraction to feint and bring her blade down into Vyed's shoulder. Taran will heal him... Taran will save their friend...

"I had the strength to ... lose my strings ... You could have ... as well." She twists the blade sharply. "Too late ... Now ... You die."

Pulling away with a surprising amount of finesse, Kaori raises her shield and puts herself in between Vyed and Vishal, her bloody blade casting a dim red light around them.

Akuma narrows her eyes at Vyed, attempting to slash at him as he knocks down Vishal, anger fueling her as she tries to get his focus. 

Sentinel! 

Attack: 6 Damage: 4

Vyed grunts and twirls out of the way of Akuma's strike. His furious eyes turn on Kaori. "I. Don't. Want. To lose my strings," he hisses angrily. "Freedom is chaos and blood. When I die, I will be reincarnated as a higher being for my sacrifice. When you die, you will only fall deeper into darkness."

Initiative Order: Akuma, Taran, Druhdaar, Vishal, Vyed, Khova, Kaori, Caelius

Caelius is up.

One of Caelius’s arcs of dark lightning fizzles out and he redirects the other back to Vyed.

Caelius casts witch bolt again.

Attack: 20 Damage: 3 lightning damage

Electricity arcs across Vyed's body as Caelius's lightning arc connects, but the assassin stays on his feet.

Initiative Order: Akuma, Taran, Druhdaar, Vishal, Vyed, Khova, Kaori, Caelius

Akuma, Taran, Druhdaar and Vishal are up.

"Y-you are wr-wrong, they are n-n-not that kind to th-their servants." Taran says as he fires his last poisoned walloping bolt at the man, hoping to end this so they could escape.

Then he would dash over the Vishal's body, pulling out one of his prepared bandages and slapping it over the bleeding wound, hoping the medical herbs would startle Vishal awake.

Vyed goes tumbling to the ground as the bolt strikes his stomach, but just manages to resist the poison. "Of course you say that," he spits, blood on his lips. "You would see them brought down, and order and light turn to darkness and terror."

Initiative Order: Akuma, Taran, Druhdaar, Vishal, Vyed, Khova, Kaori, Caelius

Druhdaar, Akuma and Vishal are up.

Melee attacks against Vyed now have advantage. Ranged attacks are now at disadvantage.

Getting up Vishal says, "Okay....that hurt, but at least I have friends who have my back no matter what., unlike you." As he stands up Vishal stands up he grabs his Chakram again and attempts to end this fight with the masked figure.

Attack: 16 Damage: 7

Vyed rolls to take the slash across his leg. "The il-altas are always with me, and they will guide me after this life's death as well, more than can be said for you, altavar," he gasps out, covered in blood at this point. It won't take much more to finish him.
