Akuma blinks as the confined box fades from her mind, shaking her head for a moment before turning back to face the fight. She frowns as Tariiq is no longer visible, offering Kaori a determined nod as she points him out again. "Give him hell. I'll try to take down his friend." As the words finish leaving her lips, Akuma's feet are carrying her across the space to confront windy boy, shifting into a combative stance while leaving space for Beardaar. Narrowing her eyes at what she hopes is the invisible enemy, she begins to swing aggressively, shadows trailing her hands like tendrils as she prays she makes contact with something.

Three of Akuma's attacks connect with something.

Tariiq's voice sounds from the air where Kaori pointed (B1 at the top of the ceiling), and in the minds of everyone but Kaori. "Call me what you wish. It doesn't matter. Even if I fall, you'll ensure your own destruction. How does the little boy you stole feel about the nightmares that invade his sleep now that the Voice no longer guides him?"

Initiative Order: Vishal 22, Caelius 17, Druhdaar 12, Taran 12, Tariiq 9, ? 7, Akuma 5, Kaori 3

Vish, Caelius, and Taran are up.

 Caelius moves to D6 and reappears. He gestures,

 And with the final motion, opening his hands and pulling them towards himself, a wave of lightning surrounds Akuma and invisible figures, crushing them and pulling them closer.

Akuma and the two invisiboys need to make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or take 22 force damage and be pulled in a straight line to Caelius.

Caelius feels a blast of air whumph into him.

"Here you are again, running away, is that all you know how to do? Hide in the shadows like cowards!" Vishal replies as he points at where he knows the oni is and it explodes in a roar of blue fire.

"N-No, n-no," Taran mumbles eyes darting around the battlefield, "h-h-h-have to f-f-focus, h-have to focus. Y-You a-a-are a h-healer, b-bandages, y-you c-c-can do that much."

He darts for where Akuma is standing, snapping a wild crossbow shot at the invisible killer. Reaching the shadowy monk, Taran rips out one of his prepped clothes, wrapping it around her arm so the stimulants can shock her system.

Beardaar also goes for the invisible stalker.

"Seemed to work with you lot so far." This time, Tariiq's voice comes from beside Caelius as both he pops into view and both he and the air puff go for the sorcerer, the oni's glaive coming out for the first time this fight.

Akuma and Kaori are up.

Kaori is about to fly up to the roof where she saw the killer until she hears his voice on the floor, quickly turning and beginning to make her way down to him. Bracing her sword as Tariiq and the invisible buddy swiftly knock out Caelius and begin attacking Vishal, the Kenku slams into the large body of the Oni and impales him with her sword, bringing the beak of her helmet very close to his face to keep him distracted.

"I wasn't done ... with you ... Coward!"

She yanks her sword free and makes like she's gonna do another twirl, stopping short to feint and bring her sword under her arm and into Tariiq's chest once more, finishing her twirl and yanking the blade free again. She flicks her wrist, letting the blood spray from her blade onto the floor as she braces behind her shield for the inevitable counterattack.

Seeing Caelius go down, Akuma narrows her eyes and turns her attention to the now visible AND on the ground Tariiq, launching herself at him with anger, putting as much force into her shadowy fists as possible as she unleashes her shadow fists on him. "Something wrong you PEST?"

As Akuma's final punch arcs towards him, Tariiq eyes crinkle into a smile. "Absolutely nothing, now." A moment later, her fist slams into his mask, and a loud CRACK sounds through the room, and the oni's body crumples to the floor, unconscious.

Vishal, Caelius, and Taran are up.

Taran isn't paying much attention to the fight with the Oni, his attention consumed by seeing Mister Caelius fall.

"No, n-n-no, no, stupid idiot, st-stupid, stupid," Taran fires a bolt into the swirling winds as he heads over to Caelius and shoves a handful of pills into the fallen father's mouth, "d-d-don't die, don't die, pl-pleease, pl-please."

Seeing Taran take care of Cael Vishal taps into his sense and begins to scan the room for magic to hopefully help out his teammates. 

Caelius stands and gives Taran a look that says “It’s not your fault.” He surveys the room and fires a witch bolt at the spot everyone is attacking.

Beardaar keeps laying into invisiboy.

The heavily injured invisiboy keeps laying into Vishal.

 Akuma and Kaori are up.

Akuma crinkles her nose as Tariiq's body crumples, spitting on the ground next to him before quickly turning her attention to the invisible enemy that is laying into her teammates. With an angry frown, she moves over to unleash a series of punches on the space where the lightning is connecting with invisi boi, annoyed and fed up with the battle as a whole as she focuses her force and shadows into her attacks.

Two hits connect, but the witch bolt stays up, so invisiboy must still be alive!

Kaori is up.

Kaori falters as she watches Tariiq's form fall, seemingly spacing out as she reaches to grasp her head with her shield hand. It takes a moment to recollect herself before she turns and squawks in pain and anger as she watches Vishal go down to the floor. She raises her sword over her head and quickly flies to where she sees the witch bolt connecting to something, slamming into the floor as she brings the blade down into the space. Even as the witch bolt dissipates and fades from existence, the Kenku shrieks and takes her blade in both hands, bringing it down over her head into the invisible assailant's space once again, and again, and again, squawking loudly every time her sword hits something.

Caelius's witch bolt vanishes, and the NPCs start to wake with groans and hisses of displeasure.

Taran ignores Mister Caelius' look, desperately scrabbling over to Esteemed Vishal's body even as the rest of the team finishes laying into their enemies. "I-I-I'm s-s-sorry, I'm s-s-sorry, th-this w-w-was m-my f-fault, st-stupid boy, sh-should h-have j-just sh-shot him, p-poisoned him. Stupid b-b-boy."

In a panic, and still berating himself, Taran continues going from person to person, making sure everyone is alive and awake.
