Hawk, the goblin had asilver locket shaped like a fish that contains a painted portrait of a rosy-cheeked male halfling that looks like the dead one you found
(Which other goblin are you on about? The pair with pumpkins on their head? Or the single one in the trading post? Also, Hawk, looking at the locket, you seem to remember in the house with the halfling was a family portrait showing the dead halfling, what you assume to be his wife and 4 kids)
Zook accompanies the others out of the inn, staying about ten feet behind both Hawk and Bert. Having completed their recon mission earlier, they seem to know where they’re going, and what lies in each area. With that in mind, the gnome follows in a position of support, ready lend a hand if needed, his boomerang at the ready, tucked into his belt.

I tell Mandaway that I think that half-man has a family, but that the bodies were nowhere to be found (yet)! Optimistically adding: Maybe they found a place to hide!!

Mandaway nods sadly, " I will have quite a few to put to rest once this place is made safe."
" Trading post next?", Mandaway began trudging that way...
OOC: Just waiting for the response of our actions in the trading post.
While they're checking out the trading post, Zook creeps closely behind Bert, and although it's probably not the opportune time for conversation, his gnomish curiosity seems to be getting the better of him. Waiting for a slight break in any action that's ensuing, Zook speaks to Bert in his own elvish tongue.
"Bert, forgive me if I've already asked you this question, but have you ever seen a giant? I'm assuming you have, since you can speak their language. I can't imagine just how big they are. Krakkan seems pretty enormous... well, most folk are enormous compared to me, but a giant... They must tower over even him. And if we should happen upon any giants, what are we to do, knowing that they can step on us like small bugs. What kind of mood do they often take? I've heard that they can be quite foul tempered, are they all like that?"
"They are... very large, yes. I met some that were not too angry, but they kind of ignore normal-sized folk when they can. Can we talk about this in a few minutes, once the goblins are taken care of?" Bert says, smiling slightly but not taking his eye off his target.
" Are all the goblins dead now?", Mandaway said in a very definetely neutral voice.
" Now we check the keep for any more hiders, and after that you can look for treasure and I'll get to burying the other folks we found....may as well bury the little angry folks as well."
"Since the bridge is broken I might be able to actually assist here. Sneaking and assassination isn't really my strong suite but once we approach the keep I'll send Alf across to investigate the area and see if he can see anything or hear any sounds coming from within."

Hawk turns to Bert, and winks: On to the next ones?
He then takes a little time to quickly check out the tower since they couldn't earlier.

Mandaway shrugged and shuffled after them...

Hawk tosses the locket to Mandaway.
We should bury this with the halfling.

Bert suggests heading to the other goblin to do the same thing before going to the windmill.

Oh yes, I meant that we'd go to the single goblin in the trading post and then to the two in the windmill. Forgot about the ones with pumpkins.
He grabs his arrow and then creeps to the trading post. Stealth 27
Attack with longbow once the looting trading post goblin's in sight, aiming if he can for nonlethal parts: 8 Damage: 5
(does Bert get advantage with his attack from hiding? If so, here's an attack roll: 19)

Hawk follows Bert to the trading post. Draws both his short-swords and runs face on to the Goblin.

I have my last 2 exams of the year today and tomorrow so have been busy.
Bert hits but doesn't quite knock it down. It's initiative 13

Bert goes and checks out the body and the area, and investigates/searches the trading post for anything interesting, or clues.
