Paavu cocked his head to the side at the sight of the shrub and just took a moment to try and discern their nature. While he had heard of nature spirits possessing plants, such things were tied to places that was... more.
Either which way, they weren't an immediate threat. Nor did they seem to have been intentionally planted in such a way as to have been a preparation for their enemies. Paavu was at least content to leave them be if nothing worrying or violent about their nature came to mind. But instead, continue northward on the immediate path towards the distant tower. Otherwise if they were a threat, if not to them, then at least to the mounts, he'd motion the others over and ready themselves to get the drop on the creatures.

Paavu can tell quite easily that they're Twig Blights. Twig blights tends to setup ambushes for prey but it seems this group wasn't expecting any degree of company as they're communing and walking together among the shrubs. If not for Paavu's unnaturally high perceptiveness, he may not have seen them at all, as their bodies seem to meld and mesh into the natural growth around them. So either the creatures had already been sated, or were simply ignorant of the groups existence for one reason or another.
As Paavu ignores the farmhouse, Cirrus chooses to inspect it, just in case. Poking his head through the dilapidated doorway, he spots what looks to be a large sack of gold, sitting only partially limply on what is left of a counter in the middle of the room, around where a kitchen might be if the house were still used.
Would going to the gold get me very close to the twig blights? I’m guessing technically it would but they are outside of the farmhouse in the back and I’m only going in the farmhouse.
Cirrus is going to creep his way into the house using a stealth roll I'm going to roll when I get the chance using my passive stealth of 15. Still Using that 24 to keep an eye out for anything hiding in the shadows / along the walls or ceiling.
He’s going to fall for the oldest d&d trick in the book and try to take the bag of shiny coins.
You can't drown someone with Create Water. If your lungs are containers than your bones are objects. Any Siege monster that attacks you deals double damage because it’s attacking your bones.
Cirrus moves into the building unseen and unnoticed, slipping through the crumbling doorway, and into the dust-laden farm house, heading for the large sack on the rotting counter. He almost entirely makes ot there without making a single noise. Finally, reaching for the bag to pick it up.... it feels.. light.. it looks stuffed but barely weighs a few ounces... like it's filled with dry brush or something. And then it begins screaming an odd, whispering scream, like the wind through a forest. The bag bursts open, as a Twig Blight falls out.
Party is up first. There is 1 twig blight in the house with Cirrus, and 7 others around the backside of the farmhouse. Not making a map since these guys have literally no health. All are within attacking range.
Cirrus is greatly embarrassed at the situation he's put himself in. Sneaking off into an obvious trap, so easily fooled by the promise of treasure, he wants to silence the creature as quickly as possible. 17 to hit with rapier, 6 damage; 18 to hit w/ short sword, 2 damage.
What I would like to know is this: how loud was the noise the twig blight made? Did it alert the other blights? Did it alert my other party members?
In the unlikely event that neither blight nor adventurer were alerted by this "whisper"ing scream, Cirrus will just calmly walk out of the farmhouse like nothing happened.

"Cirrus, stay your blade!" Burgee exlaims. "'Twas you who invaded their space." Burgee quickly looks toward the blights to try to calm the situation before having to kill something that we made the first move against. Paavu jolts at the sound. Before he can look back to see the problem, Burgee's condemning words draws out a long, exasperated sigh. But rather than call out a chiding word, having at least heard the abrupt silencing of the 'alarm', he says instead as he marched towards the creatures, "You waste your breathe, little bird. There's a twig blights. Bloodthirsty creatures who would've ambushed us later, had not one of us fell upon their trap already. Cut them down before they cut you down."
His only warning without a glance back as he waded into the creatures ready to shatter a blight's form with a spearing thrust. "And be quick about it. They may die easily, but they have the number on their side."

As this is all happening, Gwen and Rose jump into action. Cirrus' blade sinks quickly into the twig blights body, shattering it like so much dry brush. As Burgee attempts to talk them down, he quickly realizes they either don't care, or can't understand him. Paavu charges at the remaining seven twigs trying to cut them off but as they seem to rush past him, ignoring him, his attack misses as he anticipated them standing their ground, but instead, they all rush past him.
Rose tries a similar tactic, attempting to ... facecap? It wasn't often she faced people shorter than herself.... but both herself and Gwen land solid hits, sending them flying, but even they get ignored as the Twigs rush past them all, intent on Cirrus.
The blight that Paavu missed however, does kick dust and rocks into Paavu's face... but it flies off into the air randomly.
the remaining 5 twigs reach Cirrus and encircle him.... Unleashing a volley of scratches with hands made of rose thorns. Every single thorned finger digging in, Cirrus feeling moisture leaving his body, and, if he is still standing, he suddenly feels dangerously parched.
"Boy Blue, you sure seem to find your way into trouble," Burgee blurts out with a nervous laugh before focusing on the blights. In much the same away as a kid might stomp an ant hill, Paavu retaliates immediately by putting his foot down literally upon the blights face, crushing it beneath his heel. "Bad, blight." He utters before he turns upon those that fled past him. As he marched over he puts away the Yklwa to deliver the same treatment upon another one of the puny twig work creatures.
Action:Stomp the Yard. To Hit: 25 For: 5 of non-magical bludgeoning damage.
Cirrus is going to try and quickly snatch as much gold as the free action of "interact with object" will allow, then make two swipes at one of the blights (11 to hit, 8 damage; 23 to hit, 3 damage), in an attempt to cut a path to social distance himself from these twig buggers as Burgee sets them on fire.
If he is successful he will move out of the way. If that provokes an AoO from the blights that remain, so be it. there's no way they can take him down.
Once he out of range of both the blights and Burgee, he will take care of his dehydration by drinking from his waterskin, which is approximately half full of the delicious water from that underground cistern, his thirst making taste much better than it already did.
You can't drown someone with Create Water. If your lungs are containers than your bones are objects. Any Siege monster that attacks you deals double damage because it’s attacking your bones.
Burgee prepares some frigid presents for the blights, His first one missing as they were still in transit, while when they all stopped to assail Cirrus, he was able to freeze one entirely, its form shattering into a thousand particles of ice before blowing away on the light cold breeze. While Paavu crushes one under foot, just barely catching part of its body, but hitting hard enough to finish it as it passes. Cirrus pantomimes picking up non-existent gold as the sacks only contents were a Twigblight that had torn its way out the moment it had been picked up as part of the ambush the twigblights had setup to catch unsuspecting prey.
Unfortunately attempting to interact with an object is a part of a full and flowing combo action and as he wasn't drawing a weapon simultaneously with his attack but attempting to grab a bag/gold/etc, attempting to grab the gold cost him much needed time to draw his weapons. He does however, manage to try to run out,a as Burgees attack cleared a path for him, since normally enemies cannot be passed through. Before he can move however, Rose and Gwen make their attacks!
Gwen Crushing one with a well placed strike, leaving only two remaining, while Rose missed the kneecaps. One of the twigs attacks scratches his calf, while the other misses entirely.
Cirrus makes it out, but as he's already used his actions for this round, he is unable to draw out his waterskin just yet.
They pursue him doggedly when they can, both attempting to finish the blue man who fell for it. And once again, one misses, while the other scratches him lightly on the arm. Draining more moisture.
Party is up, 2 remain.
For Cirrus below
Sorry man, but you basically attempted to take 4 full actions in a single turn. The 'additional' or side/optional actions are still full actions. In the case of interact with object, that has to be a flowing action. EG - Dropping the lantern your holding and then punching someone with your now free fist, or dropping the lantern and casting a spell, while you tried to go for a mad grab into then drawing your weapons and then attacking with both arms.
And that combination would effectively be (if there was any gold to actually grab) grabbing a bunch of gold while your weaposn are sheathed, pocketing it, then drawing both weapons, and then making two attacks in a single action.
Running was fine, as you always have movement speed until you use it.
But then you attempted to pull a waterskin out of your bag/belt uncork it, and drink it. And I could be harsh and say "You've been on the road, and haven't stated you've refilled it" but I won't in this case for the sake of brevity :P but let me give you a rundown again below in a shorter format:
Grab as much gold as possible, unsheathe TWO weapons, and then make two attacks, the second taking up your bonus action if you wanted to argue the waterskin being a bonus action, then fled, then sheathed your weapons again as you'd need both hands to use the waterskin (one to hold, the other to open, an then pour to drink) all within... 6 seconds.
(There’s no gold? Then what made me think it was a bag of gold in the first place? I just see a bag and immediately assume it is gold?)

(I just now caught the social distance joke there Cirrus... well played...)
Paavu winces at Burgee's yelling, and shakes a fist at the fleeing blights. Whatever the bard had done to piss them off so much, the goliath knew he would likely never understand. Either way, he found himself rushing in the wake the the bolt, and following a mighty leap, tries to bring his full weight down one of the remaining blights in a more crushing stomp attack.
Burgee shouts out, a very well placed firebolt hitting one twigblight in the chest, and the fire latches on, devouring the creature quite swiftly seeming to engulf it more powerfully than it should, dying before it has a chance to make any kind of noise. Shrubbery and plants were very close to this, however, just as they begin to feed on the nearby foliage, the speed at which the blight died, leaving the flames nothing to consume vanished, avoiding setting the nearby shrubs on fire at the last moment as the flames die.
All the while Paavu attempts to stomp on the last remaining one, but its simply too fast for the goliath. While the goliath may be far more observant than he should be, his body apparently can't move as fast as his eyes can however. And the twig spins around to kick more dirt in the goliaths face.
Rose takign another swing at the creature Let me show you how it's done big boy! Hu-ah! but she too misses the fast little shit by a mile. As everyone has more or less began to surround it... Gwen attempting to stab the little shite between its eyes, managing to do so Take that, you fuggen chore!
As all this is going on, Burgee's shouting has attracted the attention of more of the foul creatures in from the northern area, and they have began charging down the lane in an odd swarm of six, with five of them looking normal, while one looked ever so slightly different. Its leafy edges glowing with mystical power.
The mystical looking one putting it's hand out, and the shrubbery around the group, and the bodies of the twigs that remained grew rapidly as vines attempt to Enwrap you all. All of you except Gwen and Rose manage to keep yourselves free from being trapped in the sudden growth, Rose and Gwen being quite literally rooted to the floor.
Seeing two of the party stuck, the other 5 twigs collapse on rose, seemingly at the behest of the more magical twig. One of them running past Paavu, and another running past Cirrus to do so. Half of their thorned hands finding purchase, and draining moisture from her body. The other two missing.
Party is up, 6 remain, 5 are in melee, one is 90 feet out.

Cirrus sees that the magical tumbleweed could be a problem, so he puts his swords away, and takes out his crossbow to line up a shot, he focuses enough to trigger his clockwork amulet, allowing him to focus enough to get a 15 to hit, dealing 9 damage (hopefully the magic blight will fail the concentration check to maintain entangle).

Shield is branished to meet the charge. But realizing their intent at the last second, he crushes the first to try and rush past beneath his heel. "Tch! Hold on. I will carve the rest down yet.
Occassional Dungeon Master.
He's also going to healing word himself for 4 hp.
He's going to try to move closer to the magic blight without provoking an AoO from anyone.
You can't drown someone with Create Water. If your lungs are containers than your bones are objects. Any Siege monster that attacks you deals double damage because it’s attacking your bones.

"Would. You. Stop." Paavu growled lowly past clenched teeth as he sidesteps the dirt clod and started readying to kick it away. Rose beats him to the punch, robbing him of the kill. Accepting it with little more than a grunt, he starts opens his mouth as if to say something, but the word catches his throat as many more came swarming in droves.
Shield is branished to meet the charge. But realizing their intent at the last second, he crushes the first to try and rush past beneath his heel. "Tch! Hold on. I will carve the rest down yet. Lil' Bird. Without calling more, taking that one-" He gestures sharply to mystic furthest away as he in the meantime marched over to start stomping the life out of some more twig blights assaulting Rose.
