Cirrus slips under the canopy of the trap-door spiders trap-top swinging wildly, just barely fitting through the gap. Catching it completely off guard, and landing two solid blows against the creatures 'face.' It reels for only a moment, before the light seeping in allows cirrus before his vision goes back to normal to see that this spider wasn't just giant.. it was massive.
Burgee takes aim at 3, who despite his cover, his crashing through the brush gives his location away, dissolving any advantage it would normally give, and the frigid knife flies out, landing in it's fat-ass, before exploding and dealing further damage. Severely wounding it, as its ichor pours out onto the ground.
Rose crashes through the bushes like a wild animal, flailing her hammer and yelling like Xena, warrior princess. Her hammer meets its mark with powerful veracity, yet the creature still stands, albeit hobblingly so. Gwen nods saying As if you have to ask! and as soon as she hears her hammer collide, a shot rings out, and finishes it off. It collapses , flailing wildly, before rolling over, and eerily slowly curling up until all of it's legs meet in some disgusting rainbow arc of bony, hairy legs.
As Paavu charges in, lifting the lid of the trapdoor spiders nest to slam it with barely any force at all despite his blustering, but likely due to the necessary extra effort, he still lands a square blow on it. Unfortunately his attack came too late, as the spider had fixated on Cirrus, its first surprise assailant already.
The other two spiders seem to scramble away, not knowing the fire had already consumed its way through the building, and gone out. Paavu felt cramped in the space as it was claustrophobically small for him, and the spider in there with him was atleast his size and half again. ((Cirrus must make two dc 15 CON saves, or suffer an additional set of poison damage in the two rolls in spoiler, half the total if the save suceeds))
It lunged out at cirrus with two vicious bites.
Then, raising its front side, it uses its lair action to pull the 'top' down on both Cirrus and Paavu, forcing paavu to lean to fit. And requiring a DC 15 STR check to open again, with disadvantage from the inside.
You can't drown someone with Create Water. If your lungs are containers than your bones are objects. Any Siege monster that attacks you deals double damage because it’s attacking your bones.

Rose smiles at the spider falls and nods in tha is to Burgee and Gwen. Not seeing any sign of the other spiders, Rose heads over to see what Paavu and Cirrus got themselves into. (Since I'm not sure what i can actually see with only the 25ft of movement I'll split this up to two possibilities)
If Rose can see Paavu and Cirrus she would call out to Burgee and Gwen for help and focus on channeling Selúnes blessings through her amulet. The familiar sphere of twilight surrounds her and spreads to a 30ft radius, providing everyone within with 4trump HP. If Rose cannot see the others due to her stubby legs slowing her down she will dash until she can and still call out for help. Burgee! Gwen! We got a big one over here!
Edit up to. Should read Rose smiles as the spider falls and nods in thanks to G and B
"To the Nine with this Genasi." Paavu groused, more annoyed at man then at the spider an its home. How it could something more massive than him leave in so cramped a space he'd never know. Regardless, he took a chance in discarding favored Yklwa to grab him, and with titanic effort given the crampness of the space, hull the two out of the space with the spider. If that meant risking a bite to leg in doing so, then so be it. He would endure it, as he always had in the past, and if not brought low as well, would continue to hull the unconscious Genasi well over to where the group practically started it all.
But as he went to try, the 'door' and 'gloom' finally come to his attention. Grumbling, his breathe mists and eyes begin to glow an icy blue, and with the strength of ice giant at his back, he tries to shove open the door with all his force.

Rose's call focuses Burgee's attention down the path northward so he hurries over to the others location. He concentrates intently on the spider that laid the trap and calls upon that dark queen of storms. The air around Burgee begins to crackle with static as he rubs one of the splinters from his hold staff that he'd saved in a pocket. "Let her power feast upon you," Burgee says as the crackling energy begins to form and releases out of his hand as a streak of blue lightening racing towards its target. (Attack: 19 Damage: 12)

Cirrus finds the spiders venom intense as he shakes on the floor in the throes of death, nearly succumbing initially, but managing to push past it. The spider twitching in tense anticipation as venom and saliva drip from its mandibles and fangs. Chittering eerily, as its attention now turns to Paavu, who looked like the fattest.. juiciest morsel it had ever come across. A violet light sphere emanating from Rose as she gets closer, able to get to the edge of the trap door easily enough that had managed to seal itself down, blocking all outside attacks.
During this time, Paavu grabs the bold Air djinn, momentarily fending off the spiders attacks as he did so but the moment he turned around he began to try to lift the trap door, but it was just then that the spiders fangs sunk deep into his calf, venom flowing but Paavu manages to resist the worst of it. But that bite had a worse effect on him than he thought.. as he attempts to move the trapdoor to escape, the fangs sinking in causes his body to tense at the worst time, twisting his old-mans back, losing all physical proficiency bonuses for one full round, and failing to lift the trap-door.
Burgee readies a witch bolt for the moment the creature becomes visible (Will still be same to hit/damage)
Roses aura slowly seeps into the trapdoor area being metaphysical, and Cirrus finds himself rejuvinated enough, unfortunately.... Cirrus finds that he is stable but poisoned for 1 hour, even after regaining hit points, and is paralyzed while poisoned in this way. Able to see, think, and hear, breathe and nothing else.
Gwen, seeing the problem, hesitates... she was about to try to open it, when she instead collapses, shaking in terror, her arachnophobia ovretaking her senses.
Inside the trapdoor, the spider chitters and rubs its face, before lunging at Paavu for two ferocious bites. Its fangs and mandibles clattering near him but missing, by some grace of fate.

Rose looks to Gwen, seeing her in this state Rose curses to herself for forgetting about her fear of spiders. Gwen! It'll be okay! I'm here to protect you, but I need you to protect me too! Rose debates on whether or not to go to Gwen's side of to lift the door for the others, and ultimately decides Paavu and Cirrus need her help now. Rose opens the trap door and calls out to Paavu. Reaction: Use Stone's Endurance on AO Bite, reducing damage by 6.
Paavu is visibly sweating bullets when the door gets wrenched open. Nevertheless, Cirrus gets adjusted in his grip enough for Rose's hands to touch down. When fails to stir however, he huffs through his nose, but would getting the rest of the way out before laying the paralyzed genasi well behind himself. "Foolhardy Genasi." He murmurs, before fishing out a flask of oil. "Let a spark be enough." Paavu turns about, haltling but surely, and casts it hard down on the spider.
"Back away from door if not want to be dragged in. Quickly now." He'd at least warn the others.

Movement: Move remaining 10ft back to nest edge.

Action: [Thrown]Improvised Weapon(Oil Flask). To Hit: 18 For: 8 points of bludgeoning damage, and target is coated in oil. (If oil is lit, creature suffers 5 points of fire damage)
The oil ignites almost instantly, exploding out silently, and knocking anyone near the trapdoor (Cirrus, Paavu, Rose, Burgee) who can't pass a DC 10 STR check on their ass, and deals 1 force damage regardless, Paavu and Cirrus make it outside before the trap door collapses, putting the spider inside with the oil and flame, the lightning surging through just barely before the spider shrieks a dirge as its body is immolated in the confined space. The oil and fire consuming it before catching the webs, and hte dry underside of the various brush and dirt and twigs that were beneath the snow.
The fire, fueled by the dry webs and camouflage the spider had used, it catches rapidly despite the cold and wetness above, a blaze forming the entire area where the spider used to be, consuming a ten foot square and very likely to start spreading.
