Fortunately you are able to find a small rivulet which you can determine the direction it is flowing. You follow it downstream and after about 10 minutes of swamp bashing eventually reach the waters of the bay. The island you pulled the boat up on is about 250 yards away and after what seems an eternity of more swamp bashing but is probably no more than another 10 minutes you get back to the island where you moored the boat.

Gilly shakes his head, water droplets flying off, despite him not being in water. "Afraid not. We tried to follow them, but got lost. I guess we'll just have to be patient and wait for tomorrow. Do you know where we're supposed to go?" he asks Thrash.
"We should plan who goes tomorrow and who stays to look after the ship. We, the tritons, have a mutual enemy with the lizardmen, the Sahuagin. So I would like to go and talk to their queen." says Tiro.

"I think that just about settles it then, Zin, Griff and Hallard stay on the boat, keeping their eye on the boat's former crew, and watching out for any intruders that may come by. Thrash, Gilly and myself will take the weapons and the lizard people coins in the boat to the Lizard people camp. We'll set out first thing in the morning, so let us set up the night watches now. How about, Gilly and Thrash to start, Griff and Zin for the middle watch and myself and Hallard to finish? If we are agreed, I will retire and prepare for the morrow."

(OOC: Normally I wouldn't try and influence party decisions but felt it only fair to warn you that if any party members elect to stay with the ship they could be out of play for some time!)

Gilly leans in to Thrash, speaking quietly, "I'm not sure that's wise. He might still be loyal to his former captain."
"one man not sail ship alone" Thrash would reply. "where he going to go to?"
Gilly shakes his head. "I still don't think it's a good idea to leave him alone on the ship."
Hallard will happily stay with the ship.
