"Without light in that alcove, I can't tell what it might contain. Magic is banned here except for Christian priestly stuff, so that means she wasn't likely doing this Hela crap with official sanction. Got any ideas how we can break and enter that hotel room without drawing down a helluva lot of metal-clad micro-knights?"

“Can you tell me the difference between a witch and a wizard?" "Sure, a wizard is what they call you when they want to hire you, and a witch is what they call you when they're getting ready to run you out of town.” SunWolf replied ― Barbara Hambly, The Witches of Wenshar
Fire bolt- Shoot a streaking ball of fire towards a foe and deal a measly 1d10 fire damage. Use eldritch blast instead.
Fireball - Drawing magic from your inner reserves, you unleash a devastating nuke that explodes in a circle, hitting multiple enemies, and burning them to a crisp with a godly amount of 8d6 fire damage. Make your DM’s fights look like garbage. It’s also a nice way of TPK your entire party and have them triggered at you for the rest of the week.
“Thomas, can you clairvoy the lobby area?” Aleister asks. “You know, the desk, front doors, any sort of security check and see what people have to do to get in and out? And, maybe, see what kind of paperwork, passes etc., are used to get into the building?

"Yeah, but that's not going to get us past all the guards and staff without notice. We could try an invisible sneak to get to the door and see how it goes?"

"So we try an 'Invisibility Train', those who can't become invisible lead by one who can cast it over others?" Aleister queries. "The way it looks to me is the party has to split up, perhaps briefly, since we all can't go at once. Hmmm, a silent herd of elephants? What an interesting vision; traipsing silently past a mob, large or small, in the lobby, then up a staircase, maybe heavily traveled." He shrugs and grins, "Be a hell of a way to jump into the fire."

Tenants walk in and are greeted by a guy at the front desk. He seems to know everyone by sight. Behind him a rows of boxes with apartment numbers and names for mail and packages (the evil cleric's name is Lady Allison Dubois). Some deliveries are made. Anything large is carried upstairs by the delivery people and left outside the apartment (if no one is home).
Before entering the hotel lobby, Sarah wraps up her bow as if she is delivering it. Her armor and pack are given to the others to carry in. She then casts Invisibility on 2 targets.
"Delivery for the Lady Allison Dubois. Room 7C?" Sarah says in a subservient but professional manner as she approaches the front desk.

Thomas will stealth the hell of the approach, ready to help if something goes wrong. (Pass without Trace up? If so, add the 10). Gamliel will be on overwatch but hiding nearby outside. He and one other are Invisible by his magic.

Thomas follows safely to the target room. Once there, he checks the door for possible traps (with Help, if possible), still invisible, before anyone tries the key.

OOC - Gamliel is hiding and watching the hotel, just in case any forces come, and will pop into the familiar dimension, if needed.

No traps but you do notice a hair wedged into the door jam. A common trick to tell if a door has been opened. As the Lady of the house is dead it probably doesn't matter all that much.
Quietly alerting the rest of the invisible/non-invisible group, he uses the key to open the door.
