Driving the cart, Genren is shocked by the lightning as he tries to look onward, "Ehhh can't see that well, too much crap in my eyes, looks like we're close though. Quickly let's park this thing and get in there."
'Oh no...' moans Manfred. 'Get them down, please!' his voice full of anguish... He is clearly distressed by his need to keep playing to suppress the storm.
Arcana: 20 (lucky re-roll!) for any ritual significance to the victims - the headband of intellect keeps on working away, cold and logical...

Genren dashes off the cart and starts to try to take down the bodies. (if he can cut them down he will with his dagger) Using any medical knowledge he might have from his field to check for any vitals. "this is absolutely brutal! Why would someone put on such a display? A warning, maybe? Let's get them into the cart and out of the rain."
CON Save #1: 14 (Save) (realized I missed the save against the elemental earlier)

"What the Hells!" Wakka exclaimed as he noted the tied up folks up ahead. Jumping out of the cart to approach, he growled, "Whoever did this is going to pay. Dearly..." If it seemed alright to move them from the wall, Wakka would assist Genren in shifting them over to the cart.
Manfred deduces that these poor folks were most likely impaled to the doors and left to die as offerings to power the terrible ritual that caused these storms.
Genren attempts to cut one of the villagers down, but in doing so causes the wound to gush out and kill the man. (It will take a deft touch or a greater knowledge of medicine to safely remove the villagers. Make a DC15 Sleight of Hand or Medicine check to safely remove each one.)
Wakka successfully removes the small trident from one of the others, and moves them carefully to the cart.
Tallow is also successful in freeing a young woman.
You can just make out the sounds of a ritual coming from inside the Inn through the closed doors. (2 villagers saved. 1 died. 3 remain pinned to the doors.)

Genren quickly tries to remove the person before slipping in his rushed attempt. "Damnit, how could I be so careless. Help this man quickly if possible.... I'm sorry to cause you more pain my friend." Genren carefully moves on to the next person (sleight of hand) to attempt to bring them down slowly. 22
Once he takes down the next person, he will gesture to the group, "Let me peak in to see if I can give us some info while you help the last few."
He awaits their approval before trying to enter the inn.

"Yeah. Please while we finish moving with these poor people to the cart. Hopefully you find someone in there we can get some answers from..." Wakka added to Genren.

Genren shrugs at Manfred and smirks, "I am okay for now, I'll take a peak inside... be right back if you decide to wait out here." (is there an upstairs window he can climb into? I'll use my slippers of spider climbing to walk up and look through, if I don't see anyone I will climb in and quietly inspect the upstairs. if not, I'll enter through the first floor.)
Manfred speaks in an ancient language, the syllable rolling from his mouth as he utters words of light, and life, to bolster the survivors of this atrocity..
Manfred manages a miraculous healing of the villagers, bringing them back from the edge of death to full health! They ask if they can take the cart and make their way out of the area - perhaps even back to Leilon...
Genren finds an open window around back and on the second floor. Looking in, he sees a posh room at the end of the hallway (Guest Room C on the map). It appears to be empty - the door out is closed. (DC10 Athletics to climb up).
@Aelas - yes - that check is for everyone else =) Unless you are proficient in Athletics - then you'll auto-pass. Read an interesting house rule that if you are proficient in a skill, you could do it like passive perception and auto-pass any skill check t=with a DC equal or lower than your 10+skill modifier. So if you are proficient in Athletics, with a +3 modifier, you'd auto-pass any Athletics check with a DC of 13 or lower. Speeds things up and makes a lot of sense to me. Also can be a good way to tie in backgrounds =)
So looking at your character sheets, only Tallow needs to make the roll! Wakka can easily make the climb, and even Manfred manages to find enough hand and foot holds to make it up safely.
“Keep playing, Manfred!”

Tallow will go to the group and also make a medicine check 18
If they are movable, he will assist, otherwise, he will instruct the rest of the team what to do to keep them safe.
"I'm not a healer, guys. Can any of you help these people? I'm with you Wakka, someone will burn for this."

All of the doors and windows Genren sees from here are closed and shuttered.

"I don't think there was much that could've been down for this one..." Wakka replied softly as he help Tallow and Genren move the bodies to the carts.
