"I don't really want to waste money on a bed when we have a perfectly good one back at the headquaters.. Unless you all want to.." Gil would say with a shrug as he starts heading towards the door, planning on heading back to their own inn.
"Eh, we're here already and I'm sure a place like this isn't going to set us back too much," Darvin replies. "I think if we're going to be heading underground again for awhile, it'd be good to start fresh, so my vote is to get a good night's sleep. If the cultists have stopped cultisting by morning, they weren't much of a threat anyway."
"I can also try to sell this ring and we can stock up on any equipment first thing in the morning... I guess we can stay.... I'll go see about getting us a couple rooms.." Gil would reply before heading downstairs and purchasing a pair of rooms.
Gilbert secures rooms at the inn for 8gp total for the night. Supper and breakfast are included. The night passes quickly and only one other fight happens in the bar while you are there but it is quickly settled.
The following day you meet for breakfast in the common room.
Gil would take eight of the gold pieces that he had collected from the dead pirates and use them to pay for the room. After a quick meal he would look to his companions. "So you want me to try to sell this ring so that we can pick up some additional supplies before we head out?" Gil would ask looking to his companions.
Darvin is the last to rise, joining his companions in the common room with a yawn. "Not up to my usual standard, but I've seen worse," he says. He grabs an apple and a piece of bread, and sits on top of one of the tables as he eats them. With a mouthful of bread he says, "So. Off to check out this bath house then? It always seems to be cultists. Is this a thing for everybody or is it just me?"
After a refreshing nights sleep at the infamous Elfsong you head back out to investigate the information given by Tarina.
As you make your way through the city streets Gilbert is able to stop in some shops and sell what he wishes and buy supplies as desired. (PHB prices unless looking for something out of the ordinary.)
Eventually during the late morning you find the location as described to you.
The bathhouse is a one-story stuccoed building with stained-glass windows and clay roof tiles. Ten-foot-tall walls enclose a large courtyard outside the southeast corner of the building. The closed wooden doors to the courtyard are engraved with images of smiling nymphs dancing and frolicking in water.
Gil would use Distort Value to sell the ring for 250gp and sell the other gold neclaces for a total of 50gp. He would then add the left over 24 gold and divide the loot amung his companions. Once they arrived at the bathhouse, Gil would move to the closed wooden doors as a small smile spread across his face. "Well this door is nice.... I have a hard time believing bad people could be inside with a neat door like this.." The verdan would say before attempting to open the door.
Whistler will follow the group to the bathhouse, favouring his right side slightly, but otherwise at the sight of him, you wouldn't be able to tell he was badly hit the other day.
As he walks, he starts whistling the elfsong again.
Darvin raises a hand to stop Gil opening the door just yet. "Hang on, shouldn't we see if there's a back way in, or at least a window so we can get an idea what we're getting into before we waltz in the front door? Could be the bath house is operating as a front, but it could just be packed with cultists."
He begins to circulate the perimeter of the building, looking for a way to see in. If there isn't one, then he shrugs and returns to the front door, and gets ready to enter with the rest of the group.
"If it is supposed to be a bath house and the doors are unlocked, I doubt the inside is going to be packed full of cultists silly" The verdan would say with a smile. "If you want to look for another enterence, that is fine but I think the least threatening way to enter would be through the front door..." Gil would say leaning on his staff as he winces and rubs his leg a bit.
There’s nothing outwardly suspicious about the bathhouse, which features one of the most sophisticated plumbing systems in the city. The doors leading to the courtyard are unlocked and unguarded. The bathhouse closes at midnight and reopens at dawn, and as you watch city residents come and go.
From above, Tibi can see that this L-shaped courtyard features a trimmed lawn and nicely manicured shrubbery. The yard is decorated with white marble benches and stone fountains, each in the form of a smiling nymph tipping a jug that spills water into a circular stone basin.
You pass through the courtyard and make your way into the bathhouse.
The walls of this twenty-foot-high pillared chamber are adorned with frescoes of bathing royalty. Natural light streams through stained-glass windows, creating colorful patterns on the tiles of polished blue marble that cover the floor. Three shallow, sunken pools contain scintillating perfume-scented water. White marble benches bearing stacks of dry towels are situated near the pools, each of which comes equipped with a pair of brass faucets.
One of the pools is empty. A man sits alone in one pool and 2 woman are in the other. While they watch you enter they don't pay any special attention to you.
There is a door to the north and one to the south.

A greatly refreshed whistler is found breaking his fast before getting into his morning stretches which he does in the Common area.

Tibi comes downstairs " good morning to you all! What is on our agenda for today?"

The only entrance is through the courtyard.
"Alright then, in we go I suppose!"
