Nirzeg is the last to arrive for breakfast, and at a glance, anyoen can see just why. And yet despite the heavy bags under his eyes, stench of chemicals wafting from the man, and occasional lapse of focus, an unnerving smile is plastered on his face. And yet, he never explains, or seems bothered by odd looks in return.Wickerman and Zeek(Flying Cat Form)mutely drift to the breakfast area, lazily snatching up bits of food there way from the Githyanki's plate.
"As if any of us would allow harm to come to our profits. Or in one's case, there bestest friend." Nirzeg said nonchalantly, giving Big. D a sidelong glance and smirk. "Speaking of which, Frieee--Cohorts! I have given it some thought, and believe we should make at least a small detour to investigate this whole Troll nonsense. Seems I'm shy of some material to complete last nights project!"He exclaims, though just as quickly simmers down while eyeing everyone each in turn. "More importantly, wait--let me just check." Nirzeg pulls out a mysterious tome, and after flitting through it a few times nods to himself. "Darn. Not the right volume. Even so, judging by their size, shape, general aptitude, and a distnct use of giantish, if I recall correctly--"He glances to Derrikoth as if to confirm his suspicions.
"This is a giant-kin problem. And where there are giants, there are opportunities for insight into the recent happenings. Even from this brutish lot... Though if that's not convincing enough, the fact that we are ahead of schedule, may acquire larger support coming through the area, AND would be doing a *shudders unpleasantly* good deed should suffice for the rest of you?"As he's saying that, wickerman groggily floats up to begin applying a familiar and far more pleasant smell salve along his neck.
Resilient Salve: 11. (2 or 3 remaining on this new day.)
On the next morning, Astra digs in at the food that's been placed in front of them, and when Nirzeg arrives, smelling like chemicals, she makes sure to put more distance between them than she already does on a normal basis. "If I agree to this job, will you take a bath?"
Nirzeg grins toothily. "Milady. I would even give you one of these--"He pulls out from his bag of holding and slides over a bottle of fizzy, sweetness acquired back at Triboar. "on top of your request. Free of charge, of course." He winks at Astra one last time, then looks to the others. "What say the rest of you? Up for a little task nearthe evermoor?"

Astra opens the bottle and takes a sip from it, not completely trusting Nirzeg to not hand her something gross. When it turns out to actually be sweet, Astra loses her sense of trepidation in consuming it. Nirzeg must really want to complete this project, since he's being nice to me.
"Happy to give some trolls the boot; won't be too long before they made their way into my territory anyway." Alus say through a morning bowl of cold bean stew.
Genevieve had been silently writing in her journal while the others ate their breakfast. The construct was feeling a lot better since the reset, but she felt embarrassed that the malfunction even happened in the first place. It happened so abruptly and it bothered her that she couldn’t tell that it was going to happen sooner. She wished that her mother had added in that feature before releasing her to the world, but alas.
Being unable to smell, she stayed seated next to Nirzeg when he entered, wondering why Astra uncomfortably shifted away from the gith, but he spoke before she could ask. “I don’t mind the detour. Maybe it will help me think of a new song to write...” Her eyebrows raise as if she just remembered something and she turns to Nirzeg. “Oh, yes, and before I forget. Thank you for resetting me, Nirzeg, I appreciate it more than I can express.” She then turns to Astra. “And thank you for also watching over me while I rebooted. I, er, hope I didn’t say or do anything rude. My memory systems sometimes falters after a reset. Last thing I vividly remember is being knocked down by some troglodyte.” She glares over to Derrikoth. “Your apology is accepted but I’m still bitter about it.”

Nirzeg had started to rub his hands gleefully the moment Genevieve agreed to the plan. Then she carried on in a direction that the Githyanki froze, and spent a long moment squinting at her. And yet with little more than a quiet nod, he whips out another bottle of sweetwater and says, "Yes, well, I think I'll go take bath now. Giving our big, blue friend here plenty of time to think on the matter a little further." He says, grinning at Derri, and maybe not so incidentally trying to diffuse the situation prior to taking his leave of the others.
Wickerman and Zeek the Cat carry on with their meal. Though for the remainder of the time the Githyanki is missing, Zeek acts as if particularly interested in listening or following Derrikoth around for a while.

"Sounds like we're decided, then." Alus stands up and heads back to Nhek.
"Hey friend, four more bowls of bean stew please. And if you could call down Tamalin somehow for us, that would be very choice." He turns back to his companions. "Oh...did any of you want anything to eat, too?"
Derrikoth glares back at Genevieve, "I can fill you in. You seem to have forgotten the part where you threatened to murder my horse. If you'd like, I can make sure you forget it all next time."
"I'd be overjoyed to kill some trolls. I have little pity for monsters that threaten innocent people and horses."
He takes his food and moves out to the stables to eat with Josephus.
Astra glares back at Derrikoth when he threatens Genevieve. "You know that you're the only one here who cares about that horse, right?" She says, very clearly fed up with the horse-obsessed nobleman.
Out in the stables, there is a full-blown reconstruction project happening. Tamalin Zoar is overseeing the efforts, directing her people to remove the damaged material and replace it with fresh stuff.
Nhek serves up his bean stew leftovers for anyone who wants them, but suggests that you try his fresh stuff cooked this morning.
"She wasn't going to hurt it. You could grow up and stop throwing a hissy fit every time someone doesn't worship your horse the way you do. What's with that anyways? I've met horse enthusiasts, but none of them have the weird attachment to their horses that you do."
