Swiper continues to skitter away from the beast, not really noticing Rasa flying over to cast a spell on him, but he does notice the change in pace! Once he feels he has gotten a good distance away from the creature, again he pokes his head out and gets a read on the creature they're fighting!

Derrikoth’s strikes connect, but the scalding hot remorhaz’ body scorches him in return for 14 fire damage.

Swiper’s bolt finds its mark this time, burying itself into the remorhaz’ carapace.

Harshnag, for his part, gives a bit of space from the remorhaz, standing back a bit to allow you blast it with spells, while he looks around for something to throw.

The creature roars in pain and, faced with a choice, lunges for Derrikoth, who is a much smaller target than Harshnag.

The monster’s jaws close around Derrikoth, and the dragonborn is grappled and restrained.

"Oh for **** sake! Are you shitting me right now!" Nirzeg proclaims, and then while shaking his fist adds, "Give me back my investment you Ice Devil you!" Nirzeg races as after the creature, and when close enough toggles something alongside his bag of holding. Shooting out of at great speed is a strange plate that plants itself long enough on Derrikoth to administer some strange solutions into the wounds before melting from the intense heat.

Meanwhile, Zeek gets in another strafing run on the creature.

Swiper peeks his head out again after loading another bolt in his crossbow, only to see the creature wasn't in the place it had been... but scurrying away with Derrikoth in its maw?! "Aww shit, that ain't good." Still using the cover, the kenku moves to a safe spot and shoots!

Josephus takes 10 fire damage as he connects against the monster's carapace.

Rasa flies after Derrikoth, and orders Sparky forward (Rasa uses his bonus action to cause Sparky to dash). He curses his limited spell repertoire, but readies a healing spell to try and reinvigorate Derrikoth for the fight to come (using his action + reaction to ready & cast Cure Wounds at 3rd level, healing for 25). 

However, the remorhaz is hungry. It attempts to swallow Derrikoth! 

Swallow Attack: 13 Damage: 51 plus 4 fire. 

Temporarily unable to fit the armored dragonborn down its gullet—probably because of all the inconvenient struggling—the remorhaz continues to flee south with its prize.

Zeek continues his straff running as an agitated Nirzeg continues hot pursuit. In lieu of sending any more devices to a fire end, he conjures a ghastly hand near the creature, and tries to rip into it its side with a skeletal hand.

Rasa's turn: "Sparky! Vamos, go get him!" Rasa alights on the table behind the remorhaz and commands Sparky forward, readying and casting the spell Protection from Energy—trigger conditioned for after Sparky teleports. 

Sparky's turn: Sparky flies towards the remorhaz' mouth. Sparky and Derrikoth (if willing) then teleport 30 feet backwards, right in front of where Rasa is standing. 

Reaction: If Derrikoth appears in front of him, Rasa will use his reaction to release the Protection from Fire on Derrikoth, giving him resistance to fire damage.
