Zurzg covers his ears with one gangly arm and starts hissing at the bard, hopping on his chair from foot to foot and pointing at the instrument. "Zurzg's ears bleed with evil noise! Zurzg will kill animal in box if animal not quiet!"
"Seems like we have our marching orders then." dain says with a nod. He glances over as the goblin and Relgalyn as they start in on each other. With a shake of his head he nods to Sildar. "I am ready to go when everyone else is."
Aside from a toothy smirk, Nobody had neither denied or proved her claims right about his family. It quickly falls away as he went back to jotting down notes. By the end of which, he had taken to brushing the underside of his chin with the pen's feather end, deep in thought until Relgalyn's "music" jarred him from it. "Please stop antoganizing our compatriot. If we are to w-work together, it is best relations stay at least... amicable." Nobody requests. "Otherwise... well, it'd be better than we tackle things from seperate angles and in seperate groups." This he states while giving Relgalyn a bit more of harder look.
"In any event, we should be away to the lodge then. I-I'd like to tackle the Agathys mission as well. But, seeing as some of us have particular misgivings--" His eyes linger on Margret. "And the lack of horses, the shortest path is the best one.. despite all these other issues that I hope we can resolve soon after Gundren is at least seen to. I-I still have business with Barthen to see to -- Rations, 'n all that to take care of. But, if there are no objections, shall we ready to depart then?"
If the answer is a favorable one, he nods, and asks Zurzg at least to join him for the sidetrip to resupply. Before they leave, he says to Magret and Kai, "Oh, and I figured out what this does. Sh-should be useful in emergency of sorts, I-I'll explain once we're on the road."
(To DM: If shortcutting a final supply run at this point, Nobody's purchase/objectives are in the spoiler)
If possibly:
Explorer's Pack worth of Goods 1 Silk Rope(or Hempen, if silk unavailable) 1 Spare Waterskin 2 Vials Rent his room or a storage space back at the Tavern for up to 10days to hold anything he doesn't bring along(Namely the 30gp worth of Alchemy Supplies)
Where do you want to go? Also do you want to stay on the road as long as posible or do you prefer to go a direct route?
Because of the time, you will only be able to travel 1/3 of the normal daily distance.
Overland travel: everyone may roll one skill check (Rangers can roll 2)
You may roll perception, stealth, survival (orientation), survival to find food and water, nature if you look for ingrediants for potions and such. Or anything else you can reasonably do while traveling.
Travel speed :
fast: 30 miles a day, only roll perception and survival(orientation) with disadvantage
medium: 24 miles a day, roll perception and orientation normal, everything else at disadvantage
slow: 18 miles a day, perception and orientation with advantage, everything else normal
Roads: only roll perception, 1 roll at fast, 2 rolls for medium speed, 3 rolls when traveling slow
Relgalyn will continue to play looking at Nobody, "Your compatriot is the one who threatened me, reprimand him, not me. If it bothers him, all he had to do was politely ask. As for our destination, less walking sounds better than more walking."
"But less walking through the wilderness, which be meaning harder walking, is being worse than more walking, on good solid, and being cleared, roads." Dain puts in with a grunt. "I be voting we take roads as far as we be able to be doing so."
Rooms: 25 silver per room for a tenday, this doesn‘t include any food. At the moment there is one room for Kai and Margret, one for Zurzg and Nobody and one for Dain, Ostrov and Relgalyn.
supplies:
Dain, Ostrov and Relgalyn, pay 5 silver each to stock up on rations or remove one ration from your character Sheet
50ft hempen rope, 2 vials, 1 waterskin everything is available for standard price, check the price when you add the items and deduct the value from your money
Nobody also mark of 4 hours of reading the book ( i assume you would have spend the most morning doing that) and roll another arcana check if you want to try to decipher more of the other book .
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
If Relgalyn's ongoing playing failed to improve at the very least, Nobody grimaces, but replies all the same, "Technically speaking, he threatened the instrument. A-and your intentional goading after does not help things. So, if you kindly refrain..." He requests a bit more insistently this time. Whether the words are taken to heart or not, he goes on to say, "The roads as far as we can is my vote as well."
(To DM: Supplies deducted, minus the extra rope. Nobody too scrawny to carry around that much extra)
(Also, you assume correctly! At least given the chance to the second day, he'll try. Arcana: 16)

How many rooms should i reserve for the next week? How fast will you travel? Who is keeping watch? Who is keeping watch in the night (3 shifts) and are you makeing a fire?

[Otrov prefers to scout and keep watch on the trail in the daytime, as she is stealthy and doesn't benefit from darkvision. However, she is happy to do what is needed. As for speed, I read something about possibly finding some goblins? Maybe the faster speed could help us find a patrol - if that's what we want].
Seemingly to no one, Otrov starts talking, "Yep, me The Prick here been through a lot," she says, stroking the crossbow. She brings it up to her face, "What? Haha, oh yeah I remember! That was so - Huh? Right now? In front of everyone? Umm, okay." She half turns away from the group and gives The Prick a little whisper and a little kiss before turning back. "Ahem, yes, I am ready to go as soon as THAT BACON GETS HERE," raising her voice a little to remind the staff of her earlier request. Until that happens she'll just walk around the table, sniping pieces of food where she can.
Dain will not reserve a room. He will do watch with Sabastian, advantage for Sabastian's perception checks. He is good with whatever pace the others wish to set, but wants to stay on roads for as long as they can do so.
Kai, who had remained quiet at the table sipping tea until now, would give a friendly glance at the new comers with a smile, and a slight roll of the eyes at Zurzg. "Behave you two." After a moment of thought, she glances around at the group. "Roads would be beneficial. Less wildlife and such to run into. I can take a night watch if needed." She brushes some hair off of her blue skinned face calmly.

Nobody will reserve a room, as mentioned. He's fine with any pace, but would at least suggest a fast one while we have the "advantage" of using the roads. Since we have the numbers for it, he will help a roped in Zurzg for 3rd Watch. Depending on how cold/cool the season, he won't bother keeping any previous fires actively going during said watch until incident or possible partner proves to need it.
(To DM: Sweet~ Can't add those spells yet, but they'll certainly come in handy in the future!)
(To Otrov: We're headed to Falcon's Lodge. Though, if we happen to find any goblinoid scouts or highwaymen along the way, then things might change.)

She wonders how much a hand cart would be? She looks around to the newcomers

You are going into a forrest, so i would advise against a cart, but a mule can be bought for 10 gold including saddlebags. Handaxe, extra rations, tents, shovels... all that can be bought at Barthen‘s Provisions. Just add it to your character sheet (the mule should be under extras) and deduce the appropriate amount.
