Kai looks to the rest of the group and speaks in a hushed tone. "It looks like there is a cave where the stream meets the hill. The tracks head there. Should we send in a stealth team or try to draw out the goblins for all of us to ambush?" She looks with slight dissapointment at the shallow stream (she was hoping it would be deeper) but is however comforted by the sound of moving water nearby. She looks to the rest of the group for a decision.

"Either may be easier said than done. Something about this picture does not add up. Unless that ran was the last of the whole lot, there should have been at least one guard on watch." Nobody comments on quietly, scratching his chin in thought. "And the magic currently shielding me is almost gone as well... But! I do have a solution to at least lure out any hidden guards." At that, he pulls back his hood and musses his hair up a bit, caking in some dirt and grass for good measure. Nobody continued to speak as its all worked in. "If their none, we can decide from there to either call them out into an ambush, or enter more quietly."

He eyes the more clankier the group with a rueful smile. "Though the latter may not be option for terribly long, even if only the stealthiest enters ahead. But, let us focus on one thing at a time. I can speak their tongue, and--" In a blink of the eyes, pitch black pools turn into red and pupilled eyes of a goblin. "-can adjust a few things to pretend to be a messenger of their gods and lure out the hidden. Perhaps even get them talking about lies in store inside. And if they are around and shoot, the rest of you got me covered... Right?" He whispered back.

For all his hesitation at the end, Nobody kept up the confident appearance. His attention is split for a while between listening and trying to recreate in mind the glowing symbol of a goblin god to have radiating on the surface of his forehead.

Religion: 21.

"Now that we know where the cave is maybe we should return to Betsy and take the cart to the village," Moss says quietly. "Though I understand if you wish to take this path."

Kai looks to Nobody and nods. "We have your back if anything goes wrong." To reinforce this claim, Kai's fingers begin to glow aqua with the held sacred flame spell, prepared to let it fly if anything goes wrong. As Nobody enacts his plan, Kai will look to Moss. "We've come all this way. It would be a waste to turn back without some slight exploring, and it seems Nobody has already made his decision.  I say we wait to see how this plays out." She will smile with slight amusement and nod to Nobody who has taken his roll of the goblin messiah. Kai will keep a close eye out for any goblins that come out of hiding or become visible as Nobody advances. 

(Bhuraelea, I can't seem to see your recent update post. Not sure if that issue is on my end or not. Edit. Got the recent picture one but not the one before that.)

Nobody as you move forward, you get a better view of the cave, there seams to be a path next to the stream leading inside. Your dark vision allows you to look inside the cave, but you don't see anything unusual at the moment. Further down into the cave the stream is taking a bend around a right corner.

But outside of the cave, hidden behind bushes and trees, you see a second smaller clearing. 

(Hadn't actually meant to be considered moving ahead if there were any objections. Just showcasing his disguise. But the way things is probably for the best.)

'Ah. Some sort of... I believe the word is 'Blind'. I wonder -- Focus, little devil. Focus.' Nobody thought, grinning in self-admonishment. Knowing time to be of the essence, and against his better judgement, he makes his way over to quietly investigate the smaller clearing and nearby surroundings. However, even in the moment he tries to emulate moving with a certain degree of ownership over the place. And that no matter how he turned his body, the symbol on his forehead would remain in clear view.

Short of discovering his worries to be well-founded(ie. Finding any guards), he makes his way back to the others to warn about the blind being an issue in the future if people really wish to turn back then. He won't try to "sell" his point any further, having done exactly and little more than what had been promised would be the point of their excursion; scouting out and reaccessing the situation. And while he still appeared a little eager to delver deeper, Nobody intended to follow through on the groups wishes.

Nobody is moving closer to the small clearing. You don't see anyone, but you can make out a small barikade, most likely to watch and ambush people who carelessly approach the cave entrance, but now it is abandoned. As you turn to return to the rest of the group, you can hear animals growling from deeper within the cave. The source is to far inside or around a corner to see anything.

 

 

(Nobody will add the growling to the previous eventually report after rejoining the group, as well as an approximation of how the growls sounded through Thaumaturgy. Mainly so the more animal oriented people can have a crack of maybe figuring out what's inside.)

Moss listens to the noise thoughtfully, crouched down on the ground.

Nature: 18

Nobody tweaks the spell as he goes, but eventually re-creates some sort of sound.

Arcana: 10.

One perhaps not remotely close to the original! "Huh.. that can't be right, can it? Hm... At the very least it something Miss Moss here can probably talk to like that other specimen." 

Kai nods and looks to the group. "Should we send in the stealthy for recon or retreat back to our cart?" Kai will keep herself alert and listening for any of the sounds Nobody encountered as well as anyone trying to approach them.

Nobody you create a sound that maybe resembles  a drunken tarrasque in heat, but it doesn't imitate the one You heard very well.

Moss frowns. "You sound like you are looking to find a mate," she advises. "Perhaps I should go and listen to the sounds?" She uses disguise self to make herself at least a foot shorter and change her skin tones to blend more with her surroundings. "Will you take me to where you heard them?"

Moss, you and Nobody sneak back to the cave mouth. As you listen to the sounds from within, you are not sure what you hear. Maybe a white dragon wyrmling with a split personality or a few canine like dogs or wolfs.
