“Guys, guys, guys...I think they might be ghouls. They’re eating bones and stuff. I love things that have a name that sounds like they look...at least in my head!” Otrov relays what she knows to the group.
"Well, let's have at em then." Dain says once Marget finishes with the bowl and water. "You want to be in the door this time, so a dwarf doesn't get in yer way?" he asks Margret as he waves to the door.
( Holly Water is not intended to coat weapons and there is no ruleing provided. Saying that, i make a on the spot ruleing: you can use an action and 1 bottle of holly water to drench up to 7 arrows. Each arrow will do +1 damage to undead or fiends. The arrows keep this property for 1 minute.)
Please let me set up a few things before the fight continues.
The room is nearly rectangular, around 30ft wide and 50ft long. A closed door on the left that leads to tunnels where Nobodys familiar is at the moment. And an open door on the south, where you are at the moment. There are three ghouls inside, 25 ft, 30ft and 40ft away. Margaret is holding the door at the moment.
Margret pushes the door open and shoots a wet arrow at the closes ghoul. The arrow pierces the grey flesh and smoke comes from the wound.
Round 1:
Otrov throws the glowing piton inside the room and shoots the closest ghoul, the one that Margret already injured. His bolt striking the undead right in between its eyes. The creature falls lifelessly to the ground.
Otrov giggles and congratulates herself for a fantastic shot then, out of nowhere, realizes that she's the only one here who doesn't have a pet. Pouting slightly as she reloads The Prick she wonders longingly about what pet would be best for her...Maybe a weasel? A ferret? A muskrat? What would I call it? A couple names spring to mind - from where, who can tell? Mulva? Deloris? Hmm, I like the sound of Mulva. Reminds me of that time is Port Llast with Uncle Trapspringer where we walked into a bar with the cleric, the paladin, and the monk...
”And what I am I to do with a closed door?” Dain asks margret, giving her a raised eyebrow. “Either stand in the door yourself, with it open, and let us do things from behind you, or get out of the way so I can do so.”
Margret says to the voice in the dark "If you noticed, the short hallway we are in theres a five foot to the side stone wall then a five foot door to the right you can take my place I'll step back five foot and so can Otrov but I suggest you stand to the side of the door"
she stands back and readies her bow waits for Dain to open it (Dain note below)
"Well I am not going to open it, as then I'll be a sitting duck.' Dain says with a frown for Margret. "pretty foolish to close the door when the rest of your companions have not even had time to act yet..." He sighs as he would have moved into the doorway to start if he knew Margret was just going to close the door before half of them could even do anything. "There are only two left in there after all..." He grumbles. (Assuming it takes an action to open the door back up... if not, then ignore and Dain just opens as a free action. If so let me know then he'll attack as usual.)
A very much nervous just looks back and forth between the arguing duo, uncertain whether to but in or just let things play out. By the time things play out he pretty much misses any chances to act or prepare the first round as discomfort gets the best of him. If nothing else at least, he was still hidden... more or less, just around the bend.
Since I already shot with my action I mostlikely didn't shut the door but my movement will be back away 10ft from the door directly back not stopping in anyone's space
"It's true, we'll need a bit of space now, especially for the magicky people,"Otrov says from the back of the group. "I can go fling the door open and then run back here safely. For people like me, it's easy to move around you tree people!" Otrov laughs nervously, hoping there's no ghouls waiting for her immediately on the other side. She waits for an agreed upon course of action.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
If the door is closed, Otrov scrambles up and opens it, fires at the first ghoul she sees, and scampers back 10-15 feet to clear the path. And then She’ll hide behind someone Stealth - 18
(I’ll roll once I know more about where the ghouls are and if sneak applies or not. I’m assuming the ghouls have moved and this have taken a turn, so no assassinate)
You heard stories about ghuls, they seam to be a very good fit for what you see right now.

Margret looks aghast (pun intended) she whispers "Maybe arrows dipped in this holy water will work against them"
She takes her bowl out and pours a small amount into it and dips ten arrows while saying a prayer to her god
