Otrov
Otrov is approaching carefully but behind Margret or Zurgz, whichever is first. She'll nod to the furnace, still glowing with light, to Margret "Should I get up there?"
"Nobody you can take possession of your familiar Oh and can you pee on your ropes Otrov says that it'll give you some sort of advantage on breaking out."
"Can he then use the familiar to guide us, or are we going to get out of range of their connection, as we can't go through solid stone?" Dain asks. He considers which directions they have not tried yet, and what way would make the most sense due to where Nobody seems to be located. What paths lead in that general direction?
Margret says to Otrov and Dain and the group "I've sent a message So I'm working on it. Waiting on him to respond sadly I think he was gaged so his whispering is kinda garbled"She starts slowly moving towards the way the snake was going while still waiting for the reply
Margaret recieves the following message in return:
"Moly free ov romes. Try'm to slip way, bum... will haf 'arasym lead you."
Immediately after, Karasym again uncoils from around Margaret, looks around for a second at everyone, and then flies off at a relative sedate pace down the channel and to the intersection before between the cliff side and the area unchecked by the group so far. After a moment's indecision, he flies off in the direction of the unexplored area until it got close to some doorway.
At which point, about 10ft away from the closest doorway down the unknown path he stops, lands, and stares at it for a bit; appearing to consider it for a second, before deciding to fly through it if the way is open. And if not, Nobody presumably relinquishes control, because he flies back to Margaret at that point, once the group has caught up to it.
Either which way, Zurzg is hot on the heels of the snake once Margaret gave the order.
(Not sure wich exact tunnel you use, but both options end up close to each other anyway. I assume you use the tunnels by the lake)
You follow the snake into a large cavern. Glittering minerals in the ceiling of this large cavern catch the light of Otrovs piton and send it back to create the impression of a starry night sky. Dozens of skeletons—many crushed under fallen debris—are scattered across the floor.
The cave is large enough that it contains two freestanding structures. Each of these stone buildings is proportioned for human use, as opposed to the dwarf-sized doorways and furnishings you’ve seen elsewhere in the mines. Both structures have battered and blackened masonry walls, their double doors cracked and scorched. The cavern is divided by an escarpment, into which a flight of stairs has been cut. Other passages lead out of this area to the south, and west.
The northern building has a small side building with a slightly ajar door. Karasym is flying towards that building.
(To DM: I guess nevermind that last bit about the familiar in the PM.)
Nobody's Reply:
Margaret, you hear with more clarity than before, 'Got it, I g-guess. But, whatever you're gonna do, you better do quick. The bugbears are aware of your presence, by the looks of it. And I've already slipped the bonds, but still stuck in this... workshop, I-I guess? If they get a-antsy, I don't imagine it'll be pretty.'
Karasym then stops and flies back to hover about Magaret. "Zurzg not know why you think he thinks there is trap. Nor Zurzg understand why worried of trap now. Web slinger long gone now." He states nonchalantly, as if the Drow had been the only real threat in the entire mine despite having fought all those giant spiders, bugbears, and shapeshifter guys. "But Zurzg does as commanded." At that, he looks around a bit for any fallen debris to hide behind.
Margret turns her head towards the shop after a brief look in Marco's senses Perception 17
"Your master climbs the highest peaks in fear of the great Zurzg, our goblin commander! Last we saw Neznar he was leaving red, yellow and brown streaks in bodily fluids upwards on the side of a cliff ! Swear yourself to our commander! A great warrior unlike the coward you have served!"
Margaret and Zurzg up front, Otrov and Kai in the middle and Dain at the rear. Coming from the north, your group is at the entrance to a large cavern. A large building with a small side room is 30 ft south of you, while a second building can be seen a good bit further south past the first house. There is a small set of stairs where you are right now, leading from your tunnel into the cavern itself.
Dain takes time, as the others are preparing, to cast his detect magic spell. he looks around them to see if he notices anything magical. As he does this he sends Sabastian forward to look for anything invisible past the range of his magic detection.
(Dain, Are you casting it as a spell or as a ritual?)
Beside the normal thinks that your group got, you notice a magic resonance from the gloves, the breast plate, the mace and the glass staff. You don‘t see any magic in the tunnel or the cavern, but the building and the ceiling is more them 30 ft away, so you can‘t say anything about them.

The halfling moves up to the north part of the wall, carefully and cautiously, (Stealth - 12 ) and looks around the corner to see if she can see anything, either through a crack in the wall of the building OR in the main part of the cavern (Perception - 21 )
Zurzg hangs back to wait for his next orders, or for any enemies to come into view. But being the goblin, he shook his head slightly at the idea, not liking the odds.
