You see Nobody coming out of the smaller part of the building. He is still bloody and most of his belongings seam to be gone. He only wears a minimum of cloths.
Nobody immediately jumps at the noise, and is at least partway through the first gesture for a cantrip before eyes lock upon the source. "Ms. Margaret? Wha-?" He catches himself, noting the crossbow lined up at him, and seeing Zurzg scrambling to switch from morningstar to javelin. Moments before Zurzg lets the javelin fly, Nobody finally process the command and just looks to Karasym. Without any verbal command, the flying snake detaches itself and flies over to coil loosely about the tiefling's neck, nuzzling his chin.
The briefest of smile graces the corner of his lips before he's suddenly looking behind him worriedly. If he hadn't seen any enemies moments away from creeping up on him, he would then hurry to the side of the others. "The guards slipped into the larger building. I-I don't know what they're planning, but the place is like a workshop of some kind. With you guys distracting them, I managed to slip out my bonds." He frowns. "But enough about me. Did you get him?"

"Last we, I mean Dain's familiar saw him he was climbing a mountain to get away from us! Sadly we don't have that kind of resource, do you have any power left?"
She giggles
"Forgive the caution but we've been having fun killing your doubles"
Otrov beams as she recognizes Nobody's voice and his clothe-less situation. "Aha, so you do have a tail! I always knew...oh, wait, that's no tail." Otrov blushes and giggles and walks up to Nobody. "Good to see you in one piece. At least you can still sculpt me. I guess the pee...or 'other' trick worked eh? Hehe." With that, she turn to walk away but slaps Nobody's behind instead. She'll walk back to Margret and give her a hi-five, reveling in Nobody's (probable) discomfort. "Well, I'll poke my head in there if it's alright with you - take a look around you know, halfling stuff." Otrov will peek around and check for anything of note where Nobody emerged from. Perception - 15
Nobody appeared crestfallen at the initial bit of news before looking at Margaret in confusion after the giggling. Even moreso by Otrov's comments, which after had him glancing back at the lithe, whip thin limb as it wagged languidly behind him. Once the reason came to light however, rather than appear disturbed or angry, Nobody's expression hardens before saying, "Good. So long at least as all of those cretins are dead, it puts us in a better position. Fortunately, as much as the circumstances can be considered fortunate, they took me down faster than I could expend much of my magic."
He shook his head, or started to at least before wincing in pain. At any looks or words of concern though he grits his teeth and waves it off. "Regardless, we should act quickly before those bugbears get any ideas. Some of us should go the way I came, and others go through another door. With any luck, we'll be able to pincer them in." He then looks to himself and grimaces before looking up again. "Any of you have a dagger on hand? Or some other blade?"
Margret tucks talon away and hands Nobody a dagger whispering "I was giggling impressed at your manly body. Your tail is showing and I still have the red cloak if you want it"
She agrees with Nobody's strategy "Kai you me and Nobody to one side and Zurzg Dain and Otrov on the other"
She hurriedly moves to theworkshop noting any windows trying to avoid them
Nobody pauses mid testing the weight and checking the edge on the dagger to look at Margret with a lofted brow, and then examine himself. Oil black skin went a long way to hide some of the bruises, but not so much any scars across the tall, skinny, and lanky figure. And why the sudden interest in his tail? Sure his robe tended partially obscure the living whip, but ---
He soon shook his head, dismissing further concern over the clear jest (as far as he's concerned), and held out a hand for the robe. "Not that I'm aware of, and I very much doubt it. I thought.. I'd hoped you might've kept me with Gundren's brothers. That way maybe we could've formulated some kind of plan." He admits, revealing in that moment a lack of knowledge of the fate of said brother. A fate that everyone knew from the head that awaited them at the entryway.
"Right-o, Boss lady." Margaret leads the proverbial march for the double doors, figuring the larger group would be using tha troute while the others went the way Nobody exited. If not comes of just getting near immediately, he puts an ear up to the door to try and listen on the inside while waiting for the others to get into position.
She takes a quick look and not seeing anything, she gestures to Zurgz to take point. Dain follows and Otrov hides behind him (Stealth - 13 ), Prick at the ready position. "Okay," she whispers, "I'm ready."
She readies an attack if she sees any hostiles within:
Nobody, you are dressed like a commoner, trousers, shirt, shoes. They basically removed anything that may had some value or could be used to cast magic.
Now that you are closer to the building, Dain notices a faint glow of magic, that seams to be around the larger part of the building. It isn‘t one specific source, but more like a magical echo that is around the whole building. Like looking from the inside of a well lit room at a reflecting window. You only see your reflection, but if you concentrate, you may catch a glimpse of what lies beyond.
Margaret, Nobody, as you approach the large double doors, you notice that they are slightly ajar. You carefully get closer and peek inside, but you don‘t see anyone. What you do see:
A large workshop that was badly damaged by an ancient spell battle that laid waste to the mine. Worktables taking up two corners of the room are scorched, and the plaster has been burned off the masonry walls. In the middle of the room, a stone pedestal holds a small brazier in which an eerie green flame dances and crackles. The brazier and its pedestal appear to have been untouched by the forces that destroyed this area.
On the ground behind the brazier of green flame lies the bloody remains of a spherical creature measuring roughly four feet in diameter. Four eyestalks protrude from its central mass, two on each side. In the center of the body is a large lifeless eye.
Otrov, Dain, at the same time you enter the smaller side door that Nobody used to escape. You see a smaller workspace, but like the other room, you see clear traces of a magic battle that took place here centuries ago. An open door leading south into the larger building.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Otrov
Otrov sees the eye thingy through the open door and bounds towards it, clearly enamored. “Whoa! Look at this thing! What is it?! Omygoshohmygoshomygosh! Can I take an eye? Margret? Dain? Can I take one?” She will look around the room for shiny things, magical things, curious things. Perception -17. If they don’t tell her not to, she’ll hack off an eye or two. Can she also check to see if any poison can be made out of it?
Eventually she’d like to check for tracks and footprints too. 14 (survival)
Dain, the smaller chamber has nothing of worth in it, but when you examine the big room, you find a pile of carelessly messed up adventurer gear stuffed under one of the table. On top of the table are three books, two contain arcane diagrams and formulas, while the third one seams to contain knowledge about alchemy.
(You find most of Nobodys mundane stuff, weapon, adventure gear, spellbooks, tome of alchemy. What is gone: all gold, all trinkets, all vials)
Otrov you cut of two eyestalks from the corpse. It doesn’t smell poisonous and the blood got kind of a healthy color. You also discover two sets of bugbear tracks outside the main door going south and a lot of different tracks going west from outside the small side room.
As a ritual.
