Nobody is slow to answer, as the majority focus appeared to initally be on searching for those very same beings in the room. He even went as far as to scan ceiling itself, if albeit in vain hope of finding either hide or hair of the pair. Yet eventually, he had to bow his head and sigh in defeat.
"They've must've noticed, well, overheard us talking outside, or had simply decided to slip out all the same rather than fight." He whispered back eventually, Otrov hadn't beaten him to the punch. "I knew I should've gone for it. Now..." He trails off into a sigh and pinches the bridge of his nose. Whether Dain eventually notifies him of his missing things, or he -- with time and some fatigue from searching -- he gets hold of his things that is yet there, and slowly gets around to putting it all on while avoiding the worse of his injuries.
(To DM: Ignore below if you need not me to still pilot Zurzg)
Meanwhile, Zurzg pokes his head inside long enough to see there weren't no bugbears around. So, he steps outside to keep an eye out for them or anything else worth smashing to bits.
(Also rolling in case whoever found his things forgets to tell him.)
Dain, the fire is a visual manifestation of the strange magic energy around here. The brazier seams to focus that energy into the flame. The brazier is supported by four pedestal each with a different shaped indentation: a triangular, a square, a pentagon and a hexagon.
Magaret and Otrof carefully follow the tracks. You get a better view of the second building and you walk down a set of square to get closer. The tracks seam to ignore the building and lead further south out of this large cavern.
Kai stays with Dain and examines the workshop. Where are Nobody and Zurzg going?
With the tracks found, Otrov heads back to the room where Dain is, her curiosity about the green flame thing piqued. “What is it? Is this the thing we’re meant to find? Is it deadly or good? Can we use it for anything?” she asks the cleric and the artifizard. The halfling is buzzing about at this point, excited, and likely giving Kai and Dain headaches.
(To Dm: What's this about Nobody? Zurzg stepped outside the shop to keep lookout. Nobody is still within the shop, hopefully being able to collect his things and put on his things, which aughta take a minute or so to get properly in order.)
In spite of the interest others give the flame, Nobody pays it no mind. The spark of magical curiosity there once was at the beginning of the journey appears to have beaten out of him, as the tiefling stayed true to the pragmatic course of first getting his things situated, and then.... and then find a wall to lean against or a chair to sit in to gather his strength until the others were ready to give chase or do whatever else.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(@Mehmen people started to move away while others stayed in the room, just wanted to be sure where everyone is or is going.)
Seeing the exhausted Tiefling, Kai worries and takes a closer look at him. She hisses in anger when she realises how bad his condition is. She grabs his head and speaks a prayer and divine energy floows into Nobody healing his wounds. (Nobody, You heal 50% of your hit points, but not more then 15 HP in total) She then punches his shoulder angrily: „Next time just tell me when you are nearly falling dead, instead of acting like nothing is wrong. You do know i can treat thinks like that, do you?“ She then sits down next to him and starts a different incantation. After 10 minutes everyone in the room will recover 14 HP
Dain, the flame itself is not hot, but full of magical energy. The indentations are about the size of your palm. You get the idea, that the furnace was were the dwarfs forged the metal and this workshop was were the human and gnomes enchanted them.
Margaret (6) you notice that your Mithral Longsword seams to resonate with the green flame.
Nobody (14), when Dain talks about the indentations, you get an insight, the square one sounds very similar to the size and shape to the base of Gundrens figurine.
"Otrov would you please throw some of those pointy things you have in the obious path and keep watch by the(inside the) door I want to check something"
Margret stops turns back and looks closer at the Green flame out of curiosity (and the need for hitpoints) She tucks Talon away and takes out her greatsword and bathes it in the flame
Nobody hadn't paid much mind to the hiss, so is taken aback when Kai grabs his head. Confused, Surprised, and ultimately too weak to pull away, not even a token defense is put up by the tiefling. He sighs in relief and even started to close his eyes until the punch jolts him back to conscious. Rubbing his shoulder, Nobody meets Kai's anger with a look of weariness and defeat. "... I know. But, I didn't believe it deserved, Ms. Kai. Not after the trouble I've caused... But thank you." He then sighed and looked to the ground, content until spoken to, to remain silent until again others were ready to move.
At least he would be until the flash of insight compelled to at least mention, "Try Gundren's figurine, if you have it. Should fit one of the indentations."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"What figurine is this?" Dain asks, not having the figurine himself. He shrugs as his attention is drawn to the greatsword in the green flames. "By Moradin's beard, Hold that blade still, it is absorbing the magic." he instructs Margret, stepping closer himself and watching closely. He tries to get an idea of what is happening...
Gundren passes the Golden Tree Figurine over to Nobody and asks him to guard it for him please. Some of you spend some more time in the bar and share drinks and storries, while others retire for the night and a good book. Relgalyn tries to play some dissonant music but people don‘t get it and he is asked to stop relativly quickly. Sooner or later you all turn in for some well earned sleep.
Otrov, in the early morning hours as the first sunlight starts to fill your window, you wake up. You hear a door banging and footsteps quickly walking away.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Dain, you watch the metal absorb parts of the magic for about a minute until it slows down and then finally stops as if it is full. When she takes the sword finally out of the flame, it glows with magic energy, but you do notice that a small part of it immediately and constantly seeps out again. You estimate that it will take around 7 hours before this greatsword +1 will lose its magic again.
Waiting for Otrov to tell us about the footprints

Detect magic would still be up, if not then Dain would recast to check out the green flame. Recast as ritual again.

Margaret, you don‘t notice anything.
