You are nearly finished with your meal, when you see Hazel and Ostran enter the Inn through the front door. They spot you at the table and come to you. Ostran exchanges a few words with Trilena Stonehill before he joins you. „Where is Nobody and Lady Leona? Are they still sleeping? „, Hazel asks while Ostran passes two vials with a green liquid to Sildar. „Sister Garaele said that you should take one now, and one tonight before you go to sleep. It doesn‘t got any magic, but by tomorrow your bruised ribs should be healed.“ . Sildar takes the vials and replies: „Thank you, how much was it?“,“Only ten silver.“ Sildar nods and passes over the coins.
“Toblen told me that Barthens Provisions is the first house you see when you enter the village. From here it is the last house on the right side of the road.“ He snifs carefully at one of the vials before he downs it in one go. It looks like it tasted awfully. „You can deliver the goods and i will meet the Town Master. When you talk with Barthens, ask him about a blacksmith, to open that chest you found. Ask him if he heard anything about two Dwarfs that came through here. I would suggest we meet here again in around 2 hours. Like i said, i have a few more jobs that need to be done if you want to.“
Kai gives Ree'lyn an amused look. "As long as you do not attempt to kill anyone, then yes. You can probably accompany us if that is alright with the others. Oh and Hazel, Nobody is out in the stables with Betsy. Leona has sone business back where we came from to attend to. She left this morning. "
Kai sits patiently and quietly at the table with the others.

With a disappointed expression Ree'lyn tilts his head - "I do not jeopardize profiting opportunities. By the way...try the pie. I doubt you got anything like that in...ah... where are you from?" - taking the chance to directly address the gigantic lady for the first time, the Drow adds - "I have not come across your kind very often. Ah, Moss, is it? Where do you come from? And you lady?" - turning to Margret. - "I can tell you have just met. Are you enjoying the meal? "
"Did you say somthing about a lock to be picked? I used to be a bounty hunter in Water Deep before I gave it up and became a guard. And one of the necessities was lock picking May I give it a try?"
She looks to Ree'lyn
"Yes Ree'lyn I am enjoying the meal. Where did you learn to cook?"
"Woods," Moss says as she swallows her milk. "The big Woods and the Cold Woods. Woods are my home. I follow travellers to the loud clans like you say Neverwinter. But I go back to the woods."
"What I need to discuss with the mayor is somewhat of a sensitiv matter. Ree'ly, was it? It needs to be addressed in privat for now. Of course you my come with me to his house, but I would ask you to wait outside while I talk with him.", Sildar politely replies to Ree'lyn
A sudden realization brings a smile to the Drow's face as he get an answer from the Firbolg - "Woods. Of course. We have water, now wood... perhaps lady Margret would be fire? Would that suit your place of origin?" - upon her answer and remark about his cooking skills, he looks ready to deliver a long story of conquests and adventures, but saying instead - "Survival. In the Underdark, when patrolling, I come across ingredients that were never seen on the surface world. Then I refined the cooking here and there with the right contacts. Now these ingredients are part of the items I offer in trading deals."
When Sildar accepts his company to visit the Town Master, but not entering the place with him, he adds - "While I await for you, would you just make my audience with him a little easier by saying I have to briefly talk about business? You can even wait for me if he allows me in after you, as I am sure I will not take long inside."
Lady Margaret, is it? Let me gather my belongings in the stable and take them to one of the rooms reserved for us. Maybe you can try to open the chest first and if you can't we'll take it ti this town's blacksmith as suggested by Sildar.
Mal gets his things and takes one of the rooms. He then asks Lady Margaret to join him so she can have a crack at opening the chest.
If only he and Lady Margaret are in the room, he ponders out loud - So what is this job you were speaking about earlier? The one for this Linene Graywind?
As she works on the chest - Are you familiar with this Ree'lyn character? Are Drows common in this area? He is a Drow isn't he? Despite all his charm, I still feel uneasy of his presence.

"That's, interesting I suppose a whole lot of mushrooms go into your cooking then. I'd like to continue our discussion but my new friend here beckons." She nods to Moss "I've enjoyed your company my friend I guess I'll see you in the girls dormitory" she says instead of girls room which sounds like a privy

I'll give it a try as for the Drow He is the first Ive met and he makes me a little uneasy too. I don't know what Linene wants but it seemed important enough to give me an Idea about it
Margret, you try to open the chest but for some reason you are unable to move the mechanism inside the lock. After trying for 15 min you stop for a moment to take a closer look at the chest and the lock, but everything looks normal, simple and sturdy. You give it a second try but again no luck. Frustrated you pass the open leather pouch with your tools to Maltake who was watching you. And he barely even starts to touch the lock and it already snaps open.
Inside you find several small leather bags containing a total of 600 copper pieces and 110 silver, 2 vials with a bright red liquid and finally a velvet pouch containing a jade figurine of a bonsai tree, the leaves are made of gold.
As Margret and Maltake leave the table Sildar also finishes his meal. He thanks Hazel and Ostran again for the medicine before he addresses Ree‘lyn:“Please don‘t take me wrong, you are most likely a nice guy, but we only just meet. I am sure you will understand that i can not vouch for you. But i cam most certainly tellthe Mayor that you would like to see him, and that you are waiting outside.“ To everyone else on the table he says: „ I should be back here in the inn in about two hours, with a small reward for my rescue and hopefully a few more answers.“ With this he takes his leave, on the way out he thanks Mrs Stonehill again for her service and then waits a moment at the door to see if Ree‘lyn follows.
With half the people left from the table, Trilena starts to clear the dishes and cleans the table. She makes an effort to stay as far away from Kai and Zurzg as posible.
Kai nods to Sildar before standing from her place at the table. "I suppose that is our cue to take the goods to where they need to go. Maybe even do a little shopping in small groups? We shouldn't leave Nobody waiting." She will gather her and Zurzg's plates and hand them to Trilena with a kind smile. Speaking in a slightly hushed voice. "Thank you. And don't worry, He (Zurzg) is alright. He's with us."
She then will look to Zurzg with a smile (assuming we're all done eating by now). "Ready to go? I'll help you pull the rest if you'd like if we cannot fit it all on the cart. With everyone capable Oooof walking, there should be a little more room to put those extra boxes."
Kai will lead the way back to the stables they were in, not having anything to deposite in their room yet, Zurzg (assumingly) following after her. Once in the stables before the others join, she will look to Nobody. "I think we will be off to take this stuff where it needs to go here in the next few moments. We should see if we can load some of the extra boxes onto the cart now that there is room. But I have to ask... you seemed upset at the table earlier and did not eat with the rest of us. Is something the matter? I don't mean to pry."

A glimpse of opportunity! - "Ah! May I accompany you while visiting this Town Master? I may have one inquiring or two to do to him."
