[think we've been filled in re: furnace and what nobody saw?]
Otrov
"Cooooool. Furnaces can make awesome things, right? Maybe we should fire it up?! Is this, like some sort of a famous dwarf cave or something?" Otrov conveys the feeling she is down to exploring where her companions feel is the best option, but that perhaps a bit more firepower could be useful. "I won't lie, I do like the sound of a store room where there could be shiny things." Listening to Nobody, Otrov remarks, "Ooooh spooky about what Gundren and Kai saw. You know, I don't really like dead things....I just hope they stay, well, dead all the time." Quickly glancing to in the dark: "Well, I need that little light trick too....damn these normal halfling eyes!!!" Her shoulders fall a bit.
"Hey everyone," Otrov says whilst lighting her lantern (unless she still has the glowing piton) "I think I saw some strange glow up there,"nodding to the north. "I'm going to try to one to the west.I'll yell if I need you...actually, can one of your pets come along? You know, just in case? It might be nothing. I mean, if anyone wants to come that's fine too!" Smiling, she heads off, feeling happy that she might be able to help in some way.
Nobody just gave Margret a funny look for the accusation about omission. But before he could muster up remark on that, Otrov's piping in distracts him. "Uh... Okay. Sure." Is all he can muster in response to all of that before Margaret chimes in. With little more than faint nod, Nobody has Karasym hovering around in the de-ghoulified chamber, kept general watch, and otherwise waited for Otrov's more thorough inspection.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
You carefully sneak up to the room and look around the corner what you can see, but it looks like your light gave you away, because the first thing you see is a small skull surrounded by dim green flames is hovering above the furnace. Its empty eyesockets are glaring right at you. Before you can react, three small flames separate from the skull, compress into small bullets and come flying at you. You try to dodge behind cover, but the bullets curve and still hit you. Otrov, You take 11 points of damage.
Despite the shock of seeing that creature, you did notice that half a dozen of the corpses on the ground were slightly twitching before you jumped behind cover.
You do see Otrov with his lantern down the coridor.
Map:
The room is approximately 60 by 60 ft. The furnace is in the sw corner 20 by 20 ft big and 10 ft high (can be climbed without a skill check). On the north side it is connected to a bellow that is 10 by 30 ft long (difficult terrain) wich is powered by a waterwheel that is in an empty 5ft deep and 10ft wide channel. The tunnel Otrov used ends in the se corner of the room and Dain is 25ft s of Otrov at the exit of the big banquet cavern. Margret is leaning against a stone table 15 ft s of Dain with Nobody next to her. The corpses are concentrated all around the furnace.
"Ah! Spirit-vomiting skulls! Ah! Ghouls! Gross!" Otrov grunts as the skull vomit darts hit her, and grits and peeks out to throw the oil-filled lantern in the nest of twitching undead-y things and will hightail it back to more friendly faces (can I get a shot off as I am leaving?)
She will chuck the oil lantern at anything moving near the furnace. Then she will aim and fire at the skull: Attack:14Damage: 9 After firing, she’ll look at the carnage on the floor, now lit up by her lantern, and move backwards her full movement (25ft) down the corridor towards Dain. (Actually will use bonus action to get fully around a corner and out of sight)
Shell glance at Dain, panting. “Oh, right. Flaming skull, dead ahead.” And she’ll bow and flourish to show him the way, and she’ll throw him a grin.
Between two warnings Nobody is stunned for half a second, but recovered quickly enough to make sure crossbow was locked and loaded. "Second verse same as the first, Margret? Think you and Dain and bottleneck them in the tunnel there?" He asked as he meanwhile readied a shot for the first foe he sees clearly enter his range of darkvision.
"Hiding down here isn't going to help us none." Dain says with a frown. "Guessing magic darts aint all it can be sending at us..." He starts down the hall, wanting to get a closer look at the skull. When he can do so he sends a crossbow bolt at it...
Dain, you run up the tunnel and you notice a lot of Zombies stood up. You fire your bolt at the tiny burning skull on top of the furnace and you hit but you got the impression that the green flames reduced the impact somehow.
Nobody, in the flickering light of Otrovs lantern, you see a small stout zombie slowly walking towards Dain and you fire your bolt:
Dain and Nobody, you remember stories about flameskulls. The are wizards who died, but are still bound to this plain either by a magical contract or a personal regret. They still posses the arcane abilities and intelligence of the wizard. Without bodies they are physical weak and they lack speed or physical protection, so they are relatively easy to hit. But they posses a huge amount of resistances. Like skeletons they piercing, necrotic and poison is not very effective . On top of that they got a huge array of elemental resistance but you do not remember wich (fire and cold are save bets though).
If not Dain then Nobody certainly passes along what he knew of the flameskull's strengths. "Could try to talk down the skull, if you wish. But, not so sure they are in much of a mood for talking at the moment." He tacks on as well before loosing another bolt at the same undead dwarf to shamble its way into the light. Then he backs up several feet, knowing all too well the sort of devastation a wizard could perform if given the chance. Because he certainly wasn't taking the chance that the skull was once a novice.
Margret, you need to move a bit to get a line of sight, but it is no problem. You shoot the first Zombie you see, wich is the same one Nobody already hit twice. The power of you shot throws the undead back and it stops moving now.
Dain, you see the flames around the skull intensifying to the point where everything around it starts to get blurry and shift around, wich makes it hard to aim at. Any attack against the skull is with disadvantage.
Although slow, but two zombies reach Dain and start attacking the dwarf:
Attack vs Dain: 16 Damage: 3
Attack vs Dain: 5 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.

Shaking her head she says "Time to take cover that thing was shooting beams at Otrov"
she moves to the wall (on the left) out of view of the tunnel but where she can peak down it.
"But if Dain wants to hide (reserve his action) on the (right side) other side then throw another thunderwave or something when it comes near"
