The channel goes in two directions. The water came through an opening in east wall and flow past the waterwheel north. Wich direction do you explore? East or north, can you also include a perception and a stealth check please.

Otrov goes and helps Margret with the furnace - to see if there is any indication how it works, if there is any ore around - she won't follow the dry stream just yet, as someone's pet is doing that.
Otrov;Margaret: You see several different doors and funnels that enter or exit the furnace. It looks old and dirty but you don‘t see any obvious damage to it. The bellows and the waterwheel on the other hand took quite a beating. You see burnmarks and splintered wood, it definitely needs some repairs before it could be used.
Dain moves to the door as well and, once he has seen the others listening, would try to open it.
