"Err, maybe we should go back to the stream bed. I don't want to be caught here. Do you think your familiars ability to see invisible things would help? Dain"
Nobody follows, if albeit still somewhat confused about the whole mess. His first thoughts go back to their perhaps being some kind of jelly involved again with all the concerns of their being something invisible. But in not wishing to risk breathing the concern to life, he simply says once they are back where they started, "Wouldn't be so sure. If the one area is barricade, it will take them time to get through. So, if we act fast, we can still catch them in the tunnel in the north, assuming they are really even gonna go that way."
"Worst case scenario, we can always retreat through the, uh, dinning chamber and thensome. But, we can't sit here twiddling our thumbs. W-we've handled this kind of threat already, and we can do so again. U-up front, if need be. This might've been a bit--" He catches himself on the last word. He quickly clears his throat a second later and says, "Let's head back to the furnace room, and on to the north. Better than going down any other blind corridors at the very least, eh?"

Nobody sighs and while shaking his head mutters something in infernal. "For one, the only fire I can wield is at the tip of a blade, and is a bit impractical in this situation. Two, assuming whatever that is /is/ an actual creature, why are we trying to attack it? Best case scenario, it dies fairly quickly, opening this path to us. Worst case scenario, not only did we waste resources on it, but someone can get pulled into the waters if its clever enough. Then while we're busy dealing with both those issues, again assuming our other problem is actually on the search AND finds us preoccupied, then we will really will be between a rock and a hard place." He explained.
(To Storm: Unless you recieved a more clearer description, going off this one for it from DMs last statement about the oddity: a large patch of oddly disturbed water ahead near the ledge to the north, sometimes the weaves go faster, then slower within that area. It is an area of around 10 ft in diameter.)

Otrov listens to both ideas. “Well, if that thing is here it might make sense to leave it. As much as I hate leaving something probably really cool behind, those we’re trying to find would have had to pass or kill it too, right? There must be a better way or at least we need to think of another opinion before we go fishing.”
"We either need to keep going this way, turn back and face the bugbear, or try to break down the door that was blocked on the other side." Dain says, glancing to the others. "The path north from here is guarded by that water thing, so we can either try to walk past, and see what happens, or we need to take it out first. Or we can try one of the other routes I mentioned..."
“I think we should turn back and try to capture this big of a bear. Maybe we can learn more about our foes, including what we face in this place. It doesn't sit well with me that someone is searching for us,”Otrov says quietly to no one in particular...
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Seeing now that at least people were more or less on board with falling back, Nobody makes the executive decision begin the creeping back in the direction of the furnace room. He hugs the wall as much as possible, and tries to use the natural all black color scheme of both body and clothing to his advantage. Knowing Karasym can't exactly see in the dark however, he kept its standing orders the same for the time being.
His pace is slow enough that margret's owl could beat him into the room for scouting out the area. But unless physically stopped, the tiefling was determined to press what little advantage they had left.
In what order do you return? Also remember there is a tunnel leading south from the lake and another one going east from the furnace (most likely leading to the same area).
Otrov is taken aback at the whisper, not because Margey is doing her talking in her head thing, but more so the fact she thinks Zurgz killed King Groll! “Zurgz defeated!!??!! B-but w-wha-who-h-how, hmph!” Otrov’s face turns bright red. She crosses her arms and pouts. She doesn’t whisper anything back but in her head she screams the dirtiest sailor song she can think of, eyes closed!
strike. Otrov on the other hand has more luck, a perfectly timed bolt hits the bugbear in the eye and he collapses to the ground. Noticing the defeat of the king, Realgalyn moves closer to the door to catch a glimpse of the hobgoblin leader.
Margret says noticing the hesitation
"What do you guys see?"

Seeing Nobody scouting Margret can't stand it anymore she sends a message to Otrov via spell
"Bugbears are like Zurzg But bigger human size and just as dangerous and evil. Like the one Zurzg defeated King Groll whisper back to me please"
She wonders if trying to teach Otrov the message spell would be a mistake
