It looks like the pebbles provide some natural tension to strings that lead further into the cave. Aimlessly cutting or burning them would trigger whatever is at the other end ( you would suspect some kind of alarm). You could try to carefully burn the web around the stones with a tiny flame and some time, but it would be very hard to not trigger whatever that is.
You (as far as the torchlight allows you) can see past it. It is a thin web only, like a net. You can force your way through it, you can just burn it, you can slash it. You can try to carefully burn a small opening without disturbing the stones wich is easier, but Dain and Margaret would need to roll skill checks to get through. A bigger hole is harder to create but safer for the big guys/girls. Maybe Margaret or Dain know some magic that helps (I don't know your spell list/posible feats right now.)
As for how it looks like: immagin the grand canyon but in minature. 10ft deep, very steep, mostly wall/solid stone and a few pebbles and rocks. And at the end (N and E) the entrance to the tunnels that lead further inside but are blocked by the netlike webs.
Unless you want the webs cut or burned, Dain does not have anything to get rid of them or past them. he will cast guidance on anyone attempting to make the hole, if that is the path we are taking, then will cast it again on himself (and anyone who wants it as well) as they try to get through.
The Snake cocks its head to the side, then looks between the two tunnels before shaking his head in presumably uncertainty. If nothing else, Nobody isn't within 100ft of it to communicate anything with Karasym yet...

Otrov carefully and methodical uses small splinters of burning wood to burn through individual strands of the spider web. She takes special care not to disturb the rocks that are woven in. It almost looks like a meditative dance how she moves and works between the strings of web. It only takes her a little under a minute to clear a passage that is easily passable by everyone else.
Can i get another perception check from whoever is leading the group next please.

Margret thinks to herself that the webbing is too complicated for even her new found sight she goes into Marco's senses and checks out the tunnel beyond in the north then the other she whispers to Otrov "Marco is going to ride with you for a few" And he flits down to her and hangs from the diminutive woman's hair
One by one you carefully pass the tunnel into the mining shafts where your familiars encountered the slime. There seams to be a lack of spider webs here, only a few strands high up the walls and ceiling. You could go n where you found the slime, NE towards the banquet hall or circle back SE towards the fungus cave.

"Like a bear, seems everything primitive, is motivated by hunger, or territory."
Looks askance at Margret and says, “They’re as powerful as dragons??” Otrov shakes her head in disbelief as the one that she, Regalyn, and Dain killed didn’t seem as daunting as the dragon. “Maybe if we find it, the flyers can lead it off somewhere? You can dismiss them and bring them back, right?”
Dain leans against the rough tunnel wall, watching the tunnel behind them from time to time, while mostly keeping his attention on his companions. "I doubt if the goo is nearly as dangerous as the dragon was." He says. "Fight it, don't fight it, makes little difference to me."
"Zurzg fight slime. Make sure it not wander back if need retreat again." Zurzg said as absently dig his nose until eventually producing a bugger. And after staring at it for a good few seconds, he eats it before brush his hands off the pants. "But, Zurzg follow tall ones lead. Not really care one way or other. Zurzg like dwarf."

”Okay,”Otrov says as she suppresses a gag from watching Zurgz beside her. “Let’s scour for tracks in the hall north, Zurgz. We’ll have the slime of our life, I’ve really never felt this way before.” Once the bigs are through, she and Zurgz will look for tracks or any distinctive marks on the floor ceiling and walls:
