After an inspection of the door by Gridolpho (The door isn't trapped, and unlocked), You peer inside.

Thick webbing chokes the room, partially covering strung up bones, shriveled limbs of humanoids and animals, and other gruesome remains. Four human sized bundles hang within the mass of webbing, a little less than ten feet into the room, while small spiders scurry everywhere.

Alert and ready, Maya slips into the room to investigate.

(Maya) You feel the bundles shudder. (Gridolpho) You see the bundles twitch.

Maya will scurry up the webs to the bundles to investigate them closer before she considers lowering them down to the others.

Friend or Foe?
Investigation: 14
If it's a friendly she'll lower them down to the others.
If it's a baddy she'll make angry spider gestures to indicate to the others to attack
If she can't tell, she will lower 1 down for the others to inspect.

"Spidder. Ugh."

(Maya) You tentatively touch one of the bundles. Quickly you withdraw the limb in revulsion. What lies inside is unnatural. Maybe unholy?

Maya will back away, hissing at the pods. She'll return back down to the ground with the others.

"Toonary protect friends, Toonary destroy thing."

Toonary throws a lvl 1 guiding bolt at it.

Toonary' s  Guiding bolt strikes the nearest bundle causing it to burst open and release its occupant, a squat , medium size creature that is mostly mouth. upon the release of the creature, the other bundles become extremely agitated.

(Maya) You recognize the creature as a Maw Demon, known servants of the Spider Queen.

The creature gives an inhuman cry that seems to come from the darkest corner of the Abyss, then it rushes towards the Party.
