Soar, that hits; the hammer connecting with the man's side and ripping his leather armour. The strike almost finishes off the (alleged) cultist, but he remains on his feet, if only just.

Elspeth, this stone misses as the human attacker moves slightly to the side to dodge it.
Round Four
A: Human One B: Jalt C: Kobold Two D: Soar, Elspeth and Breena, in any order
The human is close to death, but you see true religious fervour, utter fanaticism in his eyes. He is breathing hard, gasping for breath, but once again slashes his scimitar at Soar:
Attack: 19 Damage: 4
And misses terribly, dropping his scimitar in the process. It clangs as it lands by his feet, but he almost seems not to notice. You get the feeling he will happily claw your eyes out with his hands if given the chance.

Human DEX save 19
And with that, the human falls, the sacred flames cracking over his skin.
The last surviving kobold gives a squeal of alarm at being left alone, turns around and runs back through the door you came through. You hear a sudden but emphatic thwack, then a thump as a small body hits the floor.
The dwarf Escobert the Red appears in the doorway, looks quickly around. You folks took a beating all right. That one okay? Bring her - we’ll get the healers onto her.
Elspeth lowers her sling as the last of the enemies were falled, and turns towards Breena, anxious to see how her friend was doing. She breathes a sigh of relief when Escobert mentions healers.
"Yes."She answers,"A healer would be appreciated. But please, if the port is closed off properly now, let's get out of here."
She turns to Jalt. "Jalt, can you carry Breena or do you need some help?"
Soar moves quickly to Breena as soon as the kobold's body hits the floor. She drops her hammer and shield and lays her now-bloody hands on the woman's diminutive form. A brief but strong light pulses from Soar into Breena and the gnome stirs awake. (She put the last point of Lay on Hands into her.)
"There you are, that should last you for at least a little while before we can get you to where you can recuperate, little one!"Soar says with a happy grin and a long sigh. She looks back at the bodies of the three humans and her grin falls a little, eyes dropping to the blood on her hands.
(OOC EDIT: The Lay on Hands got missed so we're retconning this to have Soar keep the point, but she does try to comfort her.)
Jalt sheathes his shield and mace and places a hand on Soar's shoulder after noticing the change in her look The blood of the wicked has been shed. But it can take its toll. Take some solace in the fact that you are protecting those innocent families in the keep. He reaches down and lifts Breena up and carries her in his arm. Rest easy little one, we are going to get us all patched up.He grimaces as he stands back up.Escobert, please take us to them now.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Escobert leads you quickly down the stairs to where the victorious guards are looking tired rather than victorious; the bodies of a few guards can be seen on the ground, and many more are wounded, but the fallen defenders are far outnumbered by the fallen attackers - kobolds, a few dwarfs and elves, and a lot of humans. Did they say anything to you? Escobert asks. They kept shouting about a Queen - any ideas who that might be?
You head back with the dwarf into the main ward of the keep, but this time instead of heading towards the parapets where Governor Nighthill surveys the scene, you move round and into the keep itself, where a makeshift hospital has been set up. It's dark, and hastily put together; many people lie on the floor with no bed or cot, but men and women are passing up and down the rows of injured and making sure that everyone is clean and receives the occasional reassuring word.
Escobert takes you to one side where a woman in her fifties sits, calmly applying some kind of ointment. The dwarf speaks to her in a low voice for a minute, and she rises and signals to another woman; you're not sure if they're healers, or priests, or both. The woman comes over and takes Breena from your hands, inspecting her wounds. I see the effects of the magic that has saved her; the simplest of magics, yet on a night life this, it will save many lives. My resources today are limited, but the Castellan informs me you will be travelling outside the keep to aid survivors, or so you have said to the Governor. Is this so? She lays Breena down on the floor and appears to cast a spell upon her:
Breena, you awake, and are healed for 9 hit points.
Soar answers Escobert, "well, yeah, they were definitely making the argument that they have a queen, she wanted them to hurt people, and, well, I think that's it?"
As they walk back, Soar turns to Jalt, saying, "Oh! I know their time had come. People die all the time. Usually it's just a bit more peaceful, and usually I'm not the one responsible. I'll be fine -- I think Kelemvor's happy with my decision to protect innocent people from an untimely, unjust death. It's just, well, this has already been a lot to process, and we don't even know why they're doing this. Someone's got to stop them though, and I'll be first in line."
Walking through the hospital, she does her best to comfort the rest of the injured with some brief, muttered words of prayers to Kelemvor. She's never been very good at this part of church life, but she's trying.
When the woman heals Breena, she bow her head and says, "Thank you so much. We'd hate to lose her. We are indeed meant to head back out to find more survivors and get them to safety. How are you feeling, Breena?"She pulls the hair out of her eyes and smiles beatifically at the gnome. She looks up at the women and stands, stumbling a little as her eyes try to refocus. "Jalt here was so brave, and he suffered some grievous injuries defending this place from those people. Could you heal him too?" She clutches her shoulder as if just noticing the scimitar wound, and does her best to turn and hide it from view. "Just a scratch,"she mutters to herself.
I will heal you all, as I may, and as the lands permits me. I am Lasani, and I sense much goodness in you, and strength that will be needed this night. I will be glad to call upon my power to heal you. She speaks some words in a language that only Elspeth recognises as druidic, and it is a spell that you, Elspeth, have seen cast before, though you do not yet have the ability. A glowing spirit appears in the room before you, in the form of a young doe standing incongruously in the middle of the room, the rows filled with wounded folk; there is a murmuring and many heads turn to look. Come, and meet her. She gestures for you to approach the spirit animal. Will you do so?
Eslpeth follows Breena and her friends to the healer.
"They seem to be fanatics."She answered to Escobert, along the way. "I don't suppose you've angered a monarch around here?"
The sight of the many wounded in the tempoary hospital, however, quietens her, unused to seeing so many injured in such proximity to each other, although she takes some comfort in the knowledge that they were obviously well taken care of. She waits patiently besides the woman as she heals her friend, then directs a small bow at Lasani.
The appearance of the ethereal doe causes Elspeth's breath to catch in her throat. It was magic she knew, if not something she was familiar with. Nevertheless, it always amazed her. She takes a small involutary step towards the doe.
Breena blinks slowly as she wakes up, frowning in confusion for a moment because this is definitely not where she was when she fell. She smiles faintly at her friends and struggles to sit up. "Did we win?"
As the healer continues, she'll pat Jalt's hand, assuming he was the one who managed to get her out since they look after each other. She manages to get to her feet and straighten her armor as best she can, eyes going wide at the appearance of the doe. "You guys see that too, right? I didn't hit my head that hard?" she asks, moving forward toward the animal along with Soar and Elspeth.
Jalt is curious but cautious and allows the others to go first as he stands back, praying under his breath to Bahamut Bahamut, troth sia thurirl. He watches to see what happens to the others.

Soar, as you step forward and come close to the spirit animal, you feel your wounds closing, and your heart filling with renewed confidence. As soon as you are fully healed, Lasani shoos you away and calls Elspeth, then Breena, and then Jalt to come and repeat the same. If you pet the creature, you will find that your hand can touch it and smooth its coat; it feels impossibly silky and comforting as you make contact with this creature.
Once you are done, you see that others in the infirmary have been brought forward, some with the help of the other healers; they walk, or are carried, to the spirit creature, for a few seconds each, then hastily removed to make way for the next in line. These are the worst, most heavily wounded of those present, and you get the sense that this healing will enable them to survive this night where otherwise they might have struggled to do so. After only a minute, the spirit creature fades, and there is a gasp of disappointment and despair from a few souls still waiting. Calm yourselves, Lasani says to them kindly; this night will be long, and your turn will come. But we must ration our meager resources. Lie down, and hold hope in your hearts.
(You are all fully healed to maximum health, including Jalt assuming he chooses to approach.)
Soar, after being healed, turns to Lasani and tries to embrace her in thanks. "You have just saved us all, I know it. Thank you, and I hope to meet that magnificent animal again one day."
She blinks, and turns to the rest of the room, trying to see if the Governor is there. If not, she'll look to talk to Escobar, hoping to head back out to find more survivors.
Turning to her companions, she looks over their wounds and clasps forearms and claps shoulders, doing her best to buoy spirits. "We've fought a lot this night, and not just survived, but triumphed, despite some close calls. I didn't know I could fight like that. We're exhausted, but after meeting that doe, my spirit is soaring, and I feel ready to take on anything. What do you say?"
Lasani smiles warmly, and casts another spell. Here, take these. Return later in the night if you need more help. Elspeth, this is a spell you are very familiar with, and one you know yourself. Lasani hands you a small pouch which contains ten goodberries.
Thank you, my lady, Escobert says, bowing to Lasani, and he ushers you away. Behind you, Lasani sits, looking tired but determined. The night will be a long one for her too.
You move towards the doorway leading back to the ward, but above you, the dragon seems to be swooping in for another attack; you hear its roar, the whoosh of wind as it flies over, wings beating, the cries as arrows are loosed, and the sound of the dragon growing more distant. Escobert indicates that you should all pause and remain inside as it passes overhead; when the dragon appears to have moved on, he sets off. We should speak again with the Governor. You have done us a great service in aiding the security of the keep, but many folk still remain outside. The dwarf moves swiftly, not running, but walking speedily and with purpose; people move out of his way out of instinct and habit, and you quickly return to the parapets.
