Darion yells out further encouragement, not really thinking about much at the moment and running on adrenaline, his whole focus on destroying the broodlings which he sees as the biggest threat to the troops (and which terrify him the most). However, he has enough presence of mind to realise the threat is less acute, and he may need to conserve some of his magic. He will therefore cast bonfire in the space of one of the Broodlings directly fighting the soldiers. If at any point that Broodling dies, or one of the allied soldiers enters that square he will immediately stop concentrating on the spell.
Bonfire damage: 16 fire (Dex save vs 15 - when cast, when entered, and when finishes turn in that space)
Dom-Gar: 13
Forgot to say, he will use his portent roll of 7 on the Yuan-ti for it's first dex save, focusing on the weave of luck, and pulling on that threat...
Ellis will continue to do what he has been doing, healing the soldier for more while hoping that this Yuan-ti finally goes down. He knows that what he is doing is minimal and not nearly as effective like the others, wishing that he could do more to help.
Action: Vicious Mockery on the Yuan-ti that's 30 ft from him next to the wall - 15 WIS Save or take 3 psychic damage and disadvantage on next attack roll

(I had to think about how this would work so I decided on this... I'm going to roll a d20. 1-10 will hit the yuan-ti, 11-15 will hit the gate, 16-20 will hit inside the walls of Dom-Eko.)

Rawk- as you fly over the hedges to notice a pack of four yuan-ti three of which seem to be guarding the fourth.
Bear Tempest and Erro barrel through the last layer o hedge between them and the catapult and find a surprised group of yuan-ti. They stare blankly at these unwelcomed attackers and bear no weapons or armor, and appear to be aiming an already loaded catapult. Erro, you don't see a particular weak spot but do notice a strange sight. Instead of stones being loaded into the catapult it appears to have a few loosely bound sacks that rattle as if it has glass in it. About this time you see Rawk land in front of you and slash two ropes. The catapult fires releasing the sacks into the air and you listen to the yuan-ti laugh despite their catapult being rendered useless. You turn and attack the nearest yuan-ti with your sword while the sacks fly through the air. Your sword cuts deep into the back of the yuan-ti making two large gashes from right to left. Bear Tempest follows through with a powerful claw attack that spins the yuan-ti around before it howls out in pain from Tempest's jaws clamping down on its reptilian scaled arm. You hear another chorus of howls from yuan-ti near the wall as the sacks land exploding in a cloud of green poison. Four yuan-ti on the eastern side of the gate writhe in pain foaming at the mouth before collapsing.
Rawk, Erro and Tempest- The world around you suddenly goes dark and frigidly cold. The sounds of the battle seem to completely disappear and in their place you hear nothing but soft whispers and a strangle slurping sound. Erro, you can still feel Bear Tempest beneath you. At the start of your turn you each take cold damage.
On the eastern flank the battle continues As Ellis and Darion work to secure each flank. Ellis' words of encouragement heal a separate soldier while the original one he had healed dodges a blow from the bloodied yuan-ti and together with the second soldier they thrust their spears into the yuan-ti's chest heaving it 8 feet in the air before driving it into the ground. It looks up mortally wounded and begins to lash out one last time before Ellis' voice crack into its mind and its eyes begin to bleed. The yuan-ti collapses back in a heap and the soldiers retrieve their spears. Darion focuses on the ground beneath a broodling engaged with two soldiers. As it bites onto a soldiers blade the ground erupts into flames. The broodling tries to recoil in pain from the intense heat but the flames prove too much for it and it falls to the ground dead. The soldiers reinforce the flanks and begin to push the yuan-ti back creeping them in on the sides. The line begins to break as a volley from the archers takes out 4 yuan-ti and the last of the broodlings. The soldiers push forward and the yuan-ti begin to retreat back through the hedges in an attempt to reorganize. You hear the THWUNK of one catapult and then the screams of yuan-ti as a small green cloud appears to the side of the gate. Then you see a large dome of pure darkness appear over the eastern catapult. The yuan-ti try to rally firing arrows into the soldiers and killing a few but the army is too dense and continues to gain ground.
The sweat covering Erro’s body suddenly and unexpectedly works against him as he grows deathly cold and his teeth start chattering. A slight panic takes over as he sees nothing but endless void, but his connection to reality is tethered only by the presence of Bear Tempest. “Rawk!? Tempest, Tempest!?” his voice rings out into nothingness.
He dares not separate himself from Bear Tempest. Fear exceeding respect, Erro jabs his heels into Tempest’s flanks, disrespectfully spurring the shapeshifted humanoid to move, to do something!
Erro readies an attack against whatever horror stalks the darkness, if it can even be tolerated to be looked at.
Bear Tempest feels the cold bite through his thick fur and growls low in frustration. Spurred on by Erro's jabbing feet he sprints straight forward in one direction.
Erro, you feel like your moving but its at such a slow pace it feels like Bear Tempest is sauntering rather than sprinting. At one point you feel the branches and vines from one of the hedge then sudden brightness as you exit the dome of darkness. Immediately in front of you is a snake headed yuan-ti as well as three other yuan-ti. One dark skinned female adorned in golden clothing with a serpent lower body who appears to be the leader, perhaps the Fenathaza you have heard so much about. A yuan-ti with snakes for arms and a second half serpent who appears to be wearing gloves and facing the catapults. Looking behind you, you see a strange curved dome of shear darkness that emits the same slurping sound. Bear Tempest immediately growls lowly seeing the nearby yuan-ti and attacks the snake-head closest to you.
Yes! Ellis was glad to see as the one Yuan-ti finally went down and they were clearing the Yuan-ti, having defeated all the broodlings here. "Keep going, we can win this!" he yells as he moves up. He looks over to where he had seen his friends by the one catapult, only to be shocked to see a dome of darkness there instead. Oh no! He thought of something, casting a spell at that dome and hoping to dispel it. Then Ellis was still thinking of how he could better help everyone, especially since they were making progress. It felt like a slight change happened and now it was as if he could get even the enemy to listen to him. "Grovel" Ellis called out at the Yuan-Ti in front of the army group.
Movement: 10 feet diagonal left down
Action: Casting Dispel Magic at the dome of darkness
Bonus Action: Mantle of Majesty - Command, Grovel at the closest Yuan-ti
Darion gives a yell of victory as the Broodlings are destroyed. He hears Ellis, and turns giving him a quick thumbs up. Focussed on the battle, Darion is still not paying much attention to what is happening at the catapults until the dome of darkness appears.
"Oh, so there you are..." he mutters to himself. When he registers Ellis' spell he yells out to him "Good call!". He starts moving forward now, getting closer to the lines (his 30ft movement). He will glance at the battling Yuan-ti closest to him, and use Bonfire again.

If Ellis' spell doesn't work: Rawk doesn't like the new circumstances and flies straight up. If she breaches the dome she'll look around for Tempest, Erro and the potential source of the dome. If she sees them she'll use her remaining movement to fly down and attack the same yuan-ti as Erro.
If Ellis' spell does work: Rawk will look around for Erro and Tempest who she just saw. She'll attack the yuan-ti that she landed next to originally then fly towards Erro and Tempest.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Catapult roll- 18 (since the 2nd catapult had time to aim the roll results change. 1-5: yuan-ti, 6-10: gate, 11-20: over the wall.)
Rawk, you crouch to leap into the air just as the darkness disappears returning you into the bright sunlight. Your eyes adjust and you notice Bear Tempest and Erro further north, while the yuan-ti still remains in front of you though it looks much worse for wear. You quickly slash across it's body with your sword and it bends over in pain. You finish with a brutal thrust through the neck and into the chest cavity. You withdraw your sword and a surge of blood sprays out from the wound. The yuan-ti's lifeless body falls to the ground as you take off towards Erro and Tempest. Erro slashes down onto the snakehead yuan-ti making a long thin laceration along the half reptilian's cheek. You revel in your recent string of successes and turn pridefully towards Fenthaza swiping with your last hit and the snakehead yuan-ti parries it out of your hand. You fumble around but manage to catch it before it falls to the ground and take your bow. Fenthaza unamused looks over to the yuan-ti you just attacked and says, "Liss'ard, Now'sss your chance to prove yourssself. The bear sssseems familiar but I don't know either of you." she says as Rawk arrives. "Why don't you stick around and enjoy the show." The snake armed yuan-ti rushes forward and attacks Rawk while the snake head yuan-ti Liss'ard attacks Erro. Rawk ducks under the first attack but feels a familiar pain as the second snake head arm latches on sending a pulse of poison through her veins. Liss'ard seems filled with rage and lunges forward with his serpentine head biting down on Erro's shoulder then stabs Erro in the side with his scimitar. The gloved yuan-ti still watches the lone working catapult and yells out "Launch!" As the screams ring out from within the walls Fenthaza laughs loudly. "Inssssects, all of you will perish this day. Dendar will reign again from the blood spilt in his name!"
Rawk and Erro make a DC 14 Wisdom save or be paralyzed. Damage: Rawk- 55 (poison) Erro- 689 (poison)
Ellis moves forward and releases a spell targeting the dome of darkness. With a satisfying flicker it disappears and you see Rawk's form fly through the air towards Bear Tempest, Erro and a group of yuan-ti. You shout out encouragement to the soldiers and they respond continuing their surge up to the hedge. Ellis spots a lone yuan-ti on the western flank and shouts out to it. The yuan-ti stops and looks back to see where the call originated then releases an arrow in Ellis' direction as it resists the effect. The first arrow impacts Ellis' shoulder but as it draws another arrow the army of soldiers swarm it and cut it to pieces. Darion moves in behind the eastern flank and targets a yuan-ti as he conjures flames beneeath it. The yuan-ti reacts quickly and side steps out of the way but it and two other yuan-ti are surrounded by army group in front of the and hedge to their back. Two are slain before they can retaliate but one manages to slay two soldiers as each snake arm bites down on a different soldier. using the hedges to their own advantage the surviving yuan-ti retreat to reform a defensive line further west.
Though the army continues its push forward you all hear the THWUNK of the catapult launching its payload into the air. A few seconds later you hear a chorus of agonizing screams and can only guess how many inside the walls have fallen victim to the green cloud of poison that rises slowly up into the air.

Ellis winced, disappointed that it didn't work. But at least he got rid of that dome, seeing that they were thinning the Yuan-ti too. But some soldiers died too and then he heard the screams, stunned. Crap, they need to stop those catapults! Please, let this work! He moves forward and then casts a spell over at the Yuan-ti at the catapults, praying that this knocks them out. "Come on, keep moving forward and don't stop! We can pressure them!" Ellis yells, gesturing for everyone to move up and keep going. Then he looks at a Yuan-ti closest to the army. "Grovel!" he calls out, wanting this to work.
