The man now looked more sick than dangerous. Still rubbing the place electric charge hit, Ola tried to help the guy, if only to see this is possible at all - 3 points of healing (Lay on Hands).
Zelra flinches a bit from the lightning damage but continues to wrap the dagger-like object with the pack. "Ow. What even is this thing?"She stands up, giving Ola a little pat on the head as she does, and also looks for the half orc from before.

Buhrell Caah is already on his way to the table. "I think we found our object," he remarks.
The object in Zelra's hands looks like a large tooth. Ola takes another shock, and 3 lightning damage, when she touches the man, who still writhes in pain. After a few seconds, however, he slumps dead. Nearby, the half-elf (a food critic according to the old women) shrieks, but not in response to the dead man - the half-elf is now surrounded by pulsing lightning energy, locked in place and falls to the ground at his own table.
The patrons' looks have gone from curiosity to worry. Surruk, the wild elf, grabs her bow and holds it at the ready, wary. The tooth in Zelra's hand, still warm to the touch, continues to pulse.
Sylyra jerks when the half-elf succumbs. His eyes then go wide, and he looks ready to run. Uragum says the words running through the druid's mind, so he simply points toward the door to add his assent.
Ola was terrified! She checked her hand - was it that little magic she possessed that killed the man?! Not letting herself to hesitate a second more, she used her usual healing on herself (all 5 points) and should she survive - breathed easily. But mishaps around did not stop yet.
"Zelra, may be you should drop that thing," carefully suggested Ola, and added with full voice: "Everyone, leave the tavern!"She was staring at the tooth, trying (not with much hope) to understand what kind of magic is it? And is there any way to stop it - what ever "it" is.
Arnald turns to his new friends and says, "Looks like it's time we tumbled out of here!" with a grin. As he gets up from the barstool he starts gently directing folks out the nearest (rear?) door, keeping one hand on his dagger in case the wild elf attempts to shoot anyone.
"Oh shit." Zelra immediately, but carefully, places the tooth onto the ground and steps back. She points at the dwarf and then at the tooth on the ground. "DWARF! What the hell is this?????" She then turns and points at the half orc and repeats her question at him, flailing her arms around. "HALF ORC! What the hell it this?????"
Sylyra snaps his fingers as he's backing toward the door. "Glass!" he calls to the two females. "The man said it was being kept in glass. And I heard the glass break as I was crawling away. Maybe that will help." He takes another couple steps backward, then joins everyone exiting the tavern.
Uragum tosses the dwarf girl at Arnold growling "hold her" as he strolls over to the the fang. Off the table he grabs two glass mugs and slides them over each ends to cover it all.

OOC: It would have appeared as if the lightning "shot" over from the human to the half-elf.
Ola Arcana:15 Zelra Persuasion: 11
For Ola:
The tooth is likely a conduit that can hold the lightning energy, like the lightning is jumping from person to person until it finds the tooth's wielder.
"I don't know!" The dwarf shouts over the clamor. "He told me that the tooth came from a blue dragon that once lived in the Quivering Forest. I thought it was a trinket, not...this!"
"That's what I need you to figure out!" Buhrell Caah exclaims. The burly half-orc keeps a calm demeanor as he begins to escort patrons out of the tavern.
Although it looked like the human on the ground was dead, he rises to his feet. He walks, eyes closed, toward the door, ignoring the throng around him that parts in shock. He leaves the building, stops in the middle of the street, and stands as if waiting.
Inside, the half-elf slumps "dead" to the floor. Before anyone can react, the lightning suffusing him darts across the tavern to the elf. She similarly shudders and yelps, collapsing to the ground, her bow still clutched firmly in her hands.
"Wait," Ola tried to put in words her more than mediocre knowledge of magic, "I saw something like that before - when lightning is locked in the object, then released, it will try to go back. Like bounce between people, until it finds the one keeping the object."She was not sure explanation was understandable, and finished with even less reassuring comment: "But I do not know how to ... how to make it find the right person."
"What the- Wasn't he dead? Shit, where is he going?" Zelra begins to follow the human out of the tavern but stops at the entrance to stare at him. "He's just standing there... what the hells is going on... I swear if this is another Cupid situation..."Zelra taps her foot and bites her bottom lip, looking deep in thought. "Look, I don't think covering it with glass is gonna help if what Ola's saying is true. Not only that, but it jumps from one person to another, not from the tooth. Everyone think! What did those who got hit by the lightning have in common? Magic items? Elvish blood? Is that human secretly not a human?"
Hearing that the glass wouldn't work, Uragum tried to think of something. Not having any better ideas he picked up the tooth. Holding the tooth up high he warned the others, "Back away, this might be stupid." With tooth held high he channeled his magic and cast shocking grasp focusing it on the hand that held the tooth. Steadily, he paced towards the elf.
Seeing the human man, who he thought was dead, walk out of the Tea Kettle and stop in the middle of the street, Sylyra stops where he is and watches him.
Arnald grabs the girl Uragum tosses his way. Sly flies back over and perches on the lady's shoulder. "If you try to leave, my hawk will attack so stay put."
Arnald then takes a few steps away toward the nearest corner of the room and readies his bow and aims at the tooth prepared to shoot it from Uragum's hands if needed.
A terse silence precedes Uragum's spell, but after a few seconds it becomes evident that it does nothing to the tooth - the pattern continues. The half-elf slowly makes his way to his feet and he too walks with eyes closed to the middle of the street outside, joining hands with the human man.
Surruk slumps as the lightning leaves her body and shatters a window near the front door to the tavern, causing a few patrons to jump in fright as they exit. A loud feminine shriek soon follows, and those who look outside see that the energy has struck a young dwarf girl wearing a necklace made of safflowers, a local flower you have seen in Phlan, harvested from the nearby Quivering Forest.
Dwarven girl was certainly not an elf, that killed the idea of elven blood to be needed (come to think of it, Ola or Zelra were not affected either). That "dead" man - the first one - why was he standing at the spot he was? Ola rushed outside to see.
With a growl Uragum will rush outside and grab the girl the lightning struck. If using lightning on the tooth disnt work, maybe physical contact would. He will hold the tooth against the girl but not pierce her skin with it.

(OOC: Did we see why the half-elf got hit by the lightning? Did it just suddenly appear out of no where or did it shoot out from the tooth?)
