Are there any guards within 60ft of Zack who are rolling Death Saves?
Sorry, missed this post. None of the guards are having to make death saves right now. One is at 0HP, but stabilised. The woman in the street is about 40 feet away and making death saves.
Zack stares at the creature as it explodes in to 7 smaller creatures. "That's... unexpected." He quickly considers his options. Having so many hostile targets flying around is not a good thing. Tefkae not being here and her familiar being knocked into oblivion isn't helping the situation (Zack doesn't know that Tefkae went off to get blessed weapons). It is logical to assume that the guards of this town is far more experienced at dealing with threats like this than the party. These guards are using holy weapons. Other than Zack's physical weapons, which he isn't the best at using, his only damaging spell is Chill Touch which is the like the opposite of a holy weapon. He's not sure if he can even do damage with that spell. So he decides to bank on his defensive spells to protect him as he bolts towards the woman. He's not a doctor but he should try to stabilize the woman before she gets worse. There's also the collapsing building but Zack doesn't have the slightest clue as to how he's going to save those people Hopefully he'll think of something while tending to the woman?
Bonus Action - Dash Action - Medicine check on woman: 22 Reaction (Posted to help speed up and make things more smooth on DM) - If attacked: Cast Shield. Movement - Use remaining movement to move closer to the crumbling building.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Zack darts forward, reaching the woman in time and managing to staunch the wounds enough that she isn't in risk of dying for the time being. With his uncanny speed, he manages to get to the crumbling building, spotting that through the window is a youngish human man with a large cabinet that appears to have fallen in the building's destruction upon him, pinning him to the ground.
Captain Obaysch strides forward. "There is no chance you are escaping after that, you blighters!" He calls to the leatherwings. "Only the Giff should have the spectacles of such explosive prowess." He lunges his his sabre in an attempt to catch one of them with a two-handed swing, his tall height helping in his aim. Sabre vs. Leatherwing 2:15 vs. AC. Hit:10 slashing damage. (Typing)
The leatherwings react to the guards striking at them, four of them striking down at them and the giff captain. The remaining two seem to fly swiftly towards where the cold ray of magic came from, harassing Victoria! Misty Blast vs. Guard 4:7 vs. DC 13 Constitution, dealing 10 cold damage, and disadvantage on their next weapon attack roll on a failure. Misty Blast vs. Guard 5:18 vs. DC 13 Constitution, dealing 6 cold damage, and disadvantage on their next weapon attack roll on a failure. Misty Blast vs. Guard 6:16 vs. DC 13 Constitution, dealing 8 cold damage, and disadvantage on their next weapon attack roll on a failure. Misty Blast vs. Obaysch:19 vs. DC 13 Constitution, dealing 7 cold damage, and disadvantage on their next weapon attack roll on a failure. Misty Blast vs. Victoria:20 vs. DC 13 Constitution, dealing 7 cold damage, and disadvantage on their next weapon attack roll on a failure. Misty Blast vs. Victoria:21 vs. DC 13 Constitution, dealing 7 cold damage, and disadvantage on their next weapon attack roll on a failure.
One of the guards cries out in pain, having to support herself with the spear in order to stand. (Guard #5: 14 damage total). Victoria manages to weather one of the blasts of cold, but the second causes some great discomfort (7 cold damage).
The Guard Captain turns to aid his barely upright companion. "Remember your training, the blessed weapons destroy them." He calls out, swinging with his flaming sword. Longsword vs. Leatherwing 3:8 vs. AC. Hit:8 slashing, plus 9 fire, plus 4 radiant damage. Longsword vs. Leatherwing 4:8 vs. AC. Hit:10 slashing, plus 7 fire, plus 4 radiant damage. The blade strikes into the leatherwing, causing it to gleam with the light before it explodes into a small ball of mist, dissipating into the atmosphere. (Leatherwing 3: destroyed). The captain then brings his weapon to swat at another leatherwing, which agilely evades the flaming blade.
(For reference, Leatherings 2, 4, and 5 are around the guards/Obaysch/Ankor. 6 & 7 have flown over to near Victoria. They are all about 10 feet off of the ground, so with long swings, a medium size creature can reach them in melee.)
Ankor and Tefkae, you're up!
Initiative (Round 3):
22 Guards (#1: 5 HP & grabbed 0:0 death saves, #2: 10 HP & grabbed 1:2 death saves, #3: 19 damage & grabbed 0:0 death saves, #4: 2 damage, #5: 2 damage, #6: 2 damage) 17 Zack 16 Obaysch 10Leatherwings (2: undamaged, 4: undamaged, 5: undamaged, 6: undamaged, 7: undamaged) 10 Guard Captain (2 damage) 10 Ankor <--- 7 Tefkae 7 Sailor 6 Eight-Bit 3 Victoria 0 Additional Effects etc.
Aside from sparing the pooch a glance a steadfast Tefkae stayed otherwise focused on her task. "I do not have time for you, living ration. Observation unit has been disconnected. This one must act more swiftly. ..Releasing first level restraints."They state as a whirring noise began emanating from throughout their body for a few moments. In that time a dagger is sunk into water, and what Tefkae memorized as the blessing. Whether she succeeds or not in gaining the same glow as the guard's spears, not wanting to delay further, the warforged begins double timing it back to the fray.
Ankor advances on the leatherwings harassing the guards. With a swing of his sword, he manages to strike one of them. However, the blade seems to be slightly less effective than expected, possibly due to not being "blessed" as the guard captain mentioned. (Leathering 4: 4 damage.) The spiritual gauntlet swings in and strikes the other leatherwing from behind, making it stagger mid flight. (Leatherwing 5: 5 damage.)
Tefkae mutters what is assumed to be a prayer, however Mr. Pepper didn't manage to get the precise words to recite, the weapons failing to glow. Rushing back, the dagger dripping in the water from the font, Tefkae notes Victoria is being swarmed by a pair of flying batlike mist creatures, another three around the guards, Ankor, and the Captain.
Sailor continues to run and find somewhere, not out of sight of the party. (Removed from initiative for the time being)
Eight-Bit looks up at the leatherwing attacking Obaysch, as it raises its mop and wafts it at the monster in an attempt to distract it and perhaps mop up the moisture from it in the process.
Victoria's Turn! (She is in melee reach of two of the creatures, so if she is making a ranged attack, it would be at disadvantage. If she attempts to get away from them without disengaging, they would get an attack of opportunity against her.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Victoria elects to take cover, disengaging and getting away from the threads immediately atop of her.
The woman is still breathing, saved by Zack's actions, but still on the battlefield.
Another creak is heard from the rafters, the man cries out again for help.
The Guards retaliate against the leatherwings, the two whom took their companion out of the fight return to grab their spears, chasing after the two that went for Victoria.
Spear vs. Leatherwing 6:15 vs. AC. Hit:8 piercing, plus 4 radiant damage. Spear vs. Leatherwing 7:21 vs. AC. Hit:4 piercing, plus 4 radiant damage. Failing to strike the Leatherwings, they have managed to distract them from Victoria however.
Spear vs. Leatherwing 2:13 vs. AC. Hit:10 piercing, plus 1 radiant damage. Spear vs. Leatherwing 4:8 vs. AC. Hit:9 piercing, plus 4 radiant damage. Spear vs. Leatherwing 5:11 vs. AC. Hit:6 piercing, plus 3 radiant damage. One of the leatherwings is struck by the glowing spear tip, exploding in a similar fashion to the others. (Leatherwing 5: destroyed)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Zack manages to smash the window and get into the room. "P-please!" the man calls out as the mage manages to get to him in swift movement. The cabinet is heavy, but using some appropriate leverage he grabs a broken beam and uses it to prop the cabinet up, long enough for the man to crawl out. It isn't pretty, but his legs can be spared. With his swift speed, he manages to drag the man to the window and get them both out before the ceiling fully collapses.
(Gain an inspiration point!)
Obaysch swats at the Leatherwing near him. "Blasted flapping annoyances." He bellows, his blade attempting to sever and slice. Sabre vs. Leatherwing 4:13 vs. AC. Hit:10 slashing damage. The slice strikes well, but the leatherwings seem resilient against the nonshining blades.
The Leatherwings begin to swoop around their prey, once again smitting this chilling mist upon them. Chilling Mist vs. Guard #6: 5 vs. DC 13 Constitution, taking 8 cold damage and disadvantage on their next weapon attack on a failure. Chilling Mist vs. Guard Captain:10 vs. DC 13 Constitution, taking 10 cold damage and disadvantage on their next weapon attack on a failure. Chilling Mist vs. Obaych:9 vs. DC 13 Constitution, taking 6 cold damage and disadvantage on their next weapon attack on a failure. Chilling Mist vs. Guard #1:4 vs. DC 13 Constitution, taking 6 cold damage and disadvantage on their next weapon attack on a failure. Chilling Mist vs. Guard #2:5 vs. DC 13 Constitution, taking 6 cold damage and disadvantage on their next weapon attack on a failure. The guards, save the captain, manage to resist the cold breaths.
The Guard Captain calls to his men, "Don't let them get away! We were trained to fight these, and by the light we will stop them!" He slashes his blade at the leatherwings nearby him. Longsword vs. Leatherwing: Attack: 13 vs. AC. Hit:5 slashing, plus 3 fire, plus 2 radiant damage. (should have disadvantage, but missed regardless) Longsword vs. Leatherwing: Attack: 8 vs. AC. Hit:9 slashing, plus 8 fire, plus 3 radiant damage. The first longsword swing was staggered by the shivering of the captain, but the follow-up strike destroys the leathering in a single blow. (leatherwing 2: destroyed)
Heading the captain's call(even if technically not one of his own), Tefkae continues to rush into the fray, narrowing her focus to a single target. Time slows for them for a moment, as processes over in overdrive to read and anticipate ahead of time weakpoints in its make-up, however faint they may be. A heartbeat later, time speeds up once more to them as they explode forth for a strike.
Bonus Action:Insightful Fight(28) vs Leatherwing Charisma(Deception).
If able to reach target:
Action: Tefkae Executes Thundering Blade Protocol - Attack: 25 Damage: 7 non-magical piercing, plus 11 sneak attack damage(if applicable, same type as weapon), and 5 thunder damage on Leatherwing(4). (If the target moves willing, they take an additional 9 thunder damage.
If unable to reach target:
Dropping her dagger, Tefkae pulls out a pistol instead and cracks off a shot with loud CRACK!
Action: Pistol - Attack: 8 Damage: 9 non-magical piercing, plus 6 sneak attack damage(if applicable, same type as weapon).
If Insightful Fighting Failed, or sneak attack would not be available due to other means, treat the above as her firing another Explosive Shot, adding another 3 of fire damage to above damage roll.

Ankor realizing that his regular attacks aren't doing much damage, and assessing the fight 3 winged beasts left. Tefkae battling with one seemingly doing a good job, the guards have taken quite a blow to their defenses, most injured a couple have fallen but have been saved by their compatriots. Ankor knowing his divine prowress is running low and he doesn't have much left in the way of favors from his god, takes his sword and slams it against his shield, crying out a mighty goliath battle roar advances up to Leatherwing #6 drops his shield and grabs his sword with both hands and attempts to strike it.

Ankor rushes to the leatherwing assaulting the guard, his blade raised. With a divine light, the slice that makes contact causes the beast to explode in radiant energies. (Leatherwing 6: Destroyed)
Tefkae rushes forward, an analytical mode engaged. Finding some patterns in the movements of the leatherwing, it is deduced that there is a drop in its flight path as it circles which is prime for exploitiong (not gonna bother rolling, even on a 20 it can't beat that check!). The booming energies ring around the leathering, the slice seemingly working well, then the magical thrum of thunder causing its form to disintergrate, leaving nothing but mist. (Leatherwing 7: Destroyed)
The last Leatherwing swoops and swirls, seemingly going to attempt to escape.
Eight-Bit looks up at the leatherwing that has been harassing Obaysch. It brings its mop up, prodding at the mist monster, distracting it once again.
Victoria, FINISH IT! (If you make an attack roll against the leatherwing, you do so with advantage.)
Victoria's blast of flames strikes at the misty bat-creature before it can escape, causing it to dissolve into the surrounding mist. (Leatherwing: deafeated!)
END OF COMBAT!
The building creaks once again as the beam finally snaps, the ceiling falling into the room Zack daringly got in an out of in seconds. "Th-thank you." The man says, still somewhat in shock, and also a little awe. "If you hadn't come, I would be crushed... Are... are you a divine guardian?"
The guard captain quickly heads to the woman and the unconscious guard, laying a hand on each of them as he utters something quietly, causing his hands to glow and cleanse their wounds slightly. They both awaken, the guard breathing heavily as the woman scarpers backwards. "Easy," He tells them. "You are safe now. The beasts have been vanquished." The guard captain looks to the group. "You all have our gratitude, thank you for aiding in this matter. Your fighting abilities, they are strong, but strange to our village."
Zack can't help but smirk a little at the irony of the man's comment. Divine Guardian? Necromancy is probably the furthest thing to divine that one can get without traveling to the Nine Hells or the Abyss. He responds, "Nope, I'm just a regular guy."
Ankor walks over and picks up his shield seeing the guard captain lending aid to the woman heads over to Obaysch and calling out to everyone around, "Anyone else injured?" His hand glowing in the same way the guard captains were. *I have 9 points left from Lay on Hands available to dish out* after healing whoever needs it he responds to the captain. "your fighting style and blessed weapons are unlike my own." As he says this the spectrial fist hovers above Ankor for a second or two more then dissipates leaving a little bit of radiant light that falls like snow around him. "Do you expect any further intrusions?

Upon seeing the Lay on Hands from Ankor, the guard asks. "Are you a servant of The Light as well? It is rare to find one with conviction to follow the tenants." He says. "As for that creature, they arrive from time to time, their forms vary. Leatherwings we sometimes get at nights, but that thing... We had not seen one like that before."
"Is there anything I can do, as thanks?" The man asks Zack. "You saved me from being lost to the mists, after all." He then looks to his house. "Well, my home is lost, so I cannot offer you shelter..."

Zack glances at the destroyed house and says, "Er... don't worry about doing offering anything. It's fine."
