"I'm fine with that," says Granny Naomi. "It's just that this place isn't really suitable for guests."
Guilliame looks around the kitchen and can't but agree. The place is home and he doesn't know anything else to compare it with, but he does notice that a lot of the trappings of the business has spread into the rest of the house making it more work-friendly than visitor friendly.
"When would you be wanting to do this?" asks Granny Naomi.

"I don't remember him saying," says Naomi between mouthfuls. "But don't let that stop you. I can look after this place."
A little later, she pushes her now-empty plate away and says, "How about we try some of that honey you bought today? I've got some bread we can put it on."

"Sounds wonderful. Talking about potential curatives is there something I can put on this eye to keep the swelling down a bit."
Granny Naomi gets up and leaves the room returning shortly with a pot of willow bark salve, which she hands to Guilliame.
She then gets bread and the crock of honey and slathers a thick layer of honey onto two thick slices of bread.
"Char?" she asks as she hands Guilliame his slice.
[OOC: I have added an entry for willow bark salve to the world site. You will find the article in the 'Miscellaneous things' category. The upshot of its use in this case is that if he applies it and has a short rest, then Guilliame will be back on full hit points.]

Guilliame and Granny Naomi have their dessert and tidy up the house and then they both head off to bed for an early night.

Guilliame wakes suddenly. It is still dark, and he thinks it was a loud sound from outside that woke him, but he can't hear anything at the moment.

Guilliame grabs up his sword and begins making his way through the darkened house in his pyjamas.
"What was that noise?" says Granny Naomi from the entrance to her own bedroom. "Is there someone in the yard at the back?"

Whisper "I'm going to check. Lock the door behind me after I step out. Don't let anyone in until I knock three times and say it's me."
Move to back of house with materials for a dancing lights spell.
Stopping just long enough to pick up a knob of wychwood from the shop, Guilliame approaches the back door.
There has been no sound from the back yard for a while, but Guilliame can see a glimmering of orange light coming in through the small gaps in the shutter of the back window.
"I'm going to check," he whispers to Granny Naomi. "Lock the door behind me after I step out. Don't let anyone in until I knock three times and say it's me."
Then, fearing the worst, he opens the back door to see fire beginning to envelop one of the drying racks set out in the back yard.

Although Guilliame's main attention is on the fire that is threatening the recent stock of jartinal weed that he and Naomi just purchased at the farmer's market, he notices that the door to the outside toilet that is flush with the back fence is slightly open and that someone is looking out the door.

Guilliame rushes past the flames to stand threateningly in front of the toilet with his sword ready.
In response to his challenge, Guilliame hears a girlish scream and the sound of frantic activity coming from within the confined space of the toilet. At the same time, he hears someone shout 'run' and then the slapping of running feet on the cobblestones of the service road behind the back fence.
