One of the wolves looks up and sees Diadoto's bow trained on them and snarls, it's hackles rising. One of the wolves begins snapping at the other just as Wolf A's growl grows louder towards Diadoto. Wolves B and C look over at what Wolf A is growling at and seeing Diadoto's bow begin growling as well. Suddenly, Wolf A lunges at Diadoto and breaks its chain, Wolf B and C try the same yet, they can't manage to break their own, instead growling and snapping at Diadoto.

Rosella, you see a heap of rubbish down the path and beyond it you see another cavern opening out. You can hear voices beyond as well as movement, though you surmise they're not many.
The snapping of the chain is like a trigger in his mind. His fingers let go and the arrow flies. As quickly as he can he scrambles toward the others, keeping his back to the wall and an eye on the wolves.
Peran whips his head around at the sound of the chain breaking, and instinct kicks in as he lunges forward to interpose himself between the wolves and the rest of the group, specifically Tangle as she still appeared to be hurting quite badly. Shield raised in front, he watches in horror as Diadato's arrow finds its mark. Expecting a furious outburst from the wolves, he sets his feet, hoping it will help keep the rush of canine bodies and fangs away from the others.

Hearing the snarl, Grum's attention snaps back to the wolves. As he sees the wolf break its chain and lunge at Diodato, taking an arrow on the process, Grum rushes forward, trying to get himself between the wolf and Diodato. As the wolf lunges, Grum swings both swords, trying to put the wolf down before it can do any damage.
Tangle sighs heavily and looks around the room, with a "come on guys..." type of look, her one hand held out to one side. Then she focuses and unleashes a black crackling blast of energy at one of the wolves.
Rosella winces at the sounds of the fight, mourning the loss of those wolves who didn't know any better. She pauses in her scouting to wait for the rest of the party to catch up.
Diadoto, lets go of the arrow and it flies forward, sinking into the wolf's upper chest. It stumbles and rolls as it yelps in pain but quickly gets back up and keeps coming on
Peran moves into position to stand guard, watching as blood begins to mat the beast's fur as it draws closer to Diadoto with every passing second.
Grum, seeing the commotion runs and gets in between Diadoto and the wolf just as it lunges, his experience as a warrior and the bloodrage of his orc heritage allows him to expertly swing his swords in an arch underneath the wolf, slicing deep.
Tangle as a finishing touch shoots out a blast of dark energy that seems to draw in all the surrounding darkness in the room and blasts the wolf in mid-aire sending it crashing into a wall. The wolf falls unmoving.
Wolves B & C seeing the way you two handled the creature draw back into themselves wimpering, trying to make themselves seem small, though both eyes are trained on Diadoto.
Diodato quickly moves past the remaining wolves to the back of the cavern where the others had gathered. "Thanks for that. Whoever made those chains needs to be spoken to."Diodato tries to make a joke of the situation, but the adrenalin of seeing a wolf charging at him still has him on edge.

The sound of fighting over Rosella continues forward, careful to watch her step as she makes her way to the cavern entrance. She pauses just at the edge, and peaks around to get a better look at what is there.

"Yeah, well done, all of you." Peran whispers, trying to calm his own heartbeat as well, "Go ahead, I'll keep up the rear as before. If those wolves come out after us, I'll let you know."
Grum backs away from the two remaining wolves cautiously, watching them carefully for any movement. When all of the group are a safe distance from them, he turns back to following Rosella, leaving Peran to cover the group's back.
Rosella, Grum, and Tangle you all notice a somewhat steep passage that leads further into the cave. To your left the water sloshes and froths, and up ahead by about 20 or so feet you can see another passage that leads left on the left bank of the stream. About 25 feet ahead you can all make out the shape of a bridge. Tangle, you alone are able to notice a goblin there, standing on one edge of the bridge and fiddling with its bowstring.
Tangle casts Mage Hand and taps Rosella on the shoulder. When Rosella turns around Tangle waves at her, then points two of her fingers on her left hand at her own eyes (at Tangles eyes), then up towards the bridge, then back to her own eyes. Then she holds up one finger as if warning Rosella, and then makes two fists in front of her held up at shoulder level, and makes her left fist move back and forth a bit.
She waits expectantly for Rosella to understand her hand signs, then whispers to Diodato in front of her, "Goblin with a bow up by the bridge, hasn't spotted us yet. Pass it on."

Rosella gets the basics of that Tangle is trying to say, looking back to the bridge to see if anything else is up there. Bow string drawn back, she scans the bridge.
Assuming Diodato passes the message on (or even if he doesn't, Grum picks up on the heightened tension in the group enough to be on alert), Grum flexes his grip on his shortswords. The adrenaline still flowing from the wolf attack, Grum is excited for more close combat. He places his trust in the ranged abilities of the rest of the group in favour of being ready for a scrap when the time comes.
(I figure others can take care of one goblin well enough, and I don't want to spend the first round of a potential future fight doing nothing but swapping weapons!)

Diodato hears the message being passed on by Tangle. He strains for a moment to see the goblin, but can't make anything out in the dark. Hopefully he doesn't need to try and attack it. As quietly as he can he turns to Grum and whispers, "Goblin. Up on bridge." Diodato then continues to scan the gloom, hoping to hear something over the sound of the water.
The goblin remains unaware of you, preoccupied with its bowstring as it is. You don't see any further goblins ahead either, and the small whispering is drowned out by the sound of the rushing water echoing off the walls of the cave.
Tangle, you get a point of inspiration so mark that on your sheet!
