As the dragon moves, it makes it hard for Rhayna to draw him on her Journal. “Hey Kastix, would you be so kind as to ask Calcryx not to move too much? Please tell him that I would like to make justice to its beauty by drawing him in my Journal. Perhaps one day I can request a proper portrait to be made for him.”

(I don’t know if dragons are common in Candlekeep. So I am going to say that Rhayna has never seen a dragon and she’s fascinated by Calcryx.)

in Common to Rhayna, "I think the dragon may want to turn you into lunch, let's not annoy it," Kastix whispers to Rhayna while keeps his eyes on the dragon thne speaks in Draconic, "We are merely seeking passage through these tunnels and just chance upon this chamber. If you would permit it, we will take our leave," Kastix continues slowly closing the door.  Kastix is trying to buy time because the party was spilt at the moment and one dragon breath could be fatal.

Rhayna is disappointed, but does not protest. She closes her Journal with the half finished drawing of Calcryx, and stores it away. She follows Kastix out of the room.

Royan watches as the dragon stalks around the room. Kastix speaks to it in another language, Draconic possibly, but Royan does not understand. Keeping his weapon drawn, Royan watches the dragon carefully, ready to act if needed.

Calcryx responds to Kastix:

Depart if ye wish, dragonblood, but thy vassal may remain to illustrate our likeness, if she desireth to bask in our glory.

It seems to be posing for Rhayna, although keeping a wary eye on Royan. It pays minimal attention to Meepo.

"What's it saying Kastix?" Royan whispers to his companion. 

"We can leave but also Rhayna can continue sketch him if she wants," Kastix stated before dropping his voice to a whisper, "We need to wait for the others before we can even think about dealing with this situation. Rhayna, I'll keep the door open if you want to run. I'll shut it after you run out," He'll stay behind the door, holding it open if Rhayna want to continue sketching. Kastix will force Meepo out of the door if he doesn't try to leave with us. 

Royan takes a close look at the Dragon, trying to figure out how mature it might be. Nature - 7   
The kobolds are expecting us to bring this creature back. What if we don't show up with it? "I don't know if we should leave just yet." Royan turns to Meepo and asks quietly, "Why do the kobolds want the dragon? Why was it locked up?"

"Consider this a tactical return, the other door is locked so this is only way out for it. It's just three of us plus the kobold. the others are checking the other rooms. We wait outside the room where it can't breathe on us, at least right away. I'm iffy fighting even a baby dragon with us at full numbers let alone half of us," Kastix whispered through message since he's not debating this while staying in the room. 

@Royan would probably guess Calcryx is about 2-3 years old from its size (about the same as himself actually), but it puts on such an air of superiority that seems older.

After Kastix tells Rhayna that she can continue her work, she looks at Kastix queerly, for she is slightly confused. Then she sees that the White Dragon is making a pose... For her it seems. "Ohhh, absolutely..." She forgets all that Kastix said and gets closer to Calcryx, but not too close. She would like to get a wider view of him.

Rhayna puts her backpack down, and takes from it a very elaborate bundle of what appears to be Elvish writing across. She unwraps the bundle on a table, and inside of it, it's an assortment of quill pens of different sizes and other writing apparatus. She then, takes out a very fine parchment paper, and rest it on top of a writing board.

She bows to Calcryx, and try her best at a curtsy. She is not used to greet other so formally, so she's not exactly sure how to properly do a curtsy. She looks at the White Dragon and says. "By Selune... Such majesty!!" She forgets about the world, and it's only her and Calcryx in the room now. She goes to work at doing her best to draw the Dragon, using different quill pens for different effects.

@Kaylyn/Ireniana:

The kobold prisoners are pretty spooked, and despite Kaylyn's reassurances, as soon as their bonds are cut they flee up the small corridor (the same direction the goblins just fled).

The gnome doesn't know who has the key to the cage, but it would probably have been one of the more superior and authoritative goblins.

"My sincerest gratitude, dear Lady," gnome tried to make a bow but cage size did not allow courtesy. "I am afraid I do not know where the key is. Goblins did not open it often. But perhaps it can be broken?" 

Kaylyn takes the dagger and smashes the hilt against the lock to try and break it open. 

Strength 0

It takes a few tries to get sufficient impact at the correct angle on the lock with the dagger hilt without getting cut on the blade, but Kaylyn manages to pop the lock open. Unfortunately the hilt split and the blade is now loose, and not much good as a weapon. 

"I am terribly sorry and eternally grateful," gnome stepped out of the cage and was able to bow properly now. His clothes - dirty and  torn  - were of a simple travelling kind, bright red hair  and beard, though dirty as well, were groomed as much as circumstanced permitted, and as a finishing touch, gnome was wearing a pince nez with one cracked glass in it. 

"Erky Timbers at your service." He bowed again. "A humble cleric of Oghma. Was on my way to the Temple when goblins attacked. That was ... I am not sure ... Feels like months or even years now. To whom do I owe my freedom, kind travellers?"

Ireniana nods. "Ireniana Falfaren. If you are attended some boxing on the Sword Coast, you might have heard of my ring name 'Elvish Thunder.'"

@Rhayna: I'm gonna have you roll an Intelligence(Performance) check. This reflects both your understanding of the dragon's details and your ability to represent them artistically. Roll high - your life might depend on it. :)

"Boxing? I am afraid I never had a pleasure to observe any tournament," you could hear an honest regret in his voice. "Acolytes duties rarely allow to enjoy any activity outside the Temple. But I am honoured to meet a renown champion". "May I ask how did you come upon this unholy place? You mentioned some names - Meepo, Yusdrayl and dragon Calcryx, if I am not mistaken? I have heard goblins talking about some dragon but context always escaped me".
