when we entered the the house we turned left in our search. so, if we come back up in the same place I say we continue that tactic. Elias will leave the room to the cellar and take the first left with his short swords drawn.
There is also a hallway to the right of Reg that leads to the other end of the house. Not sure if you can make it out or not.
In this narrow hallway you are currently in, there is a room to the left and room to the right. You can see in both rooms.
The room on the left seems to be a former dining room. At one time a long table stood in the center of this room; now it lies broken on the floor. A broken chair sits against the wall between the windows, and there is a heap of broken dishes in the northwest corner.
The room on the right was a withdrawing room. Two stuffed armchairs stand near the fireplace of this room. The covers of both have been torn and the stuffing has been pulled out, but the wooden frames are intact. A broken table lies on the floor near the north wall.
This kitchen is dirty and damp, with patches of gray mold and cobwebs on the floor, walls, and ceiling. In the southwest corner is some iron cooking equipment with a chimney above. Next to it, under the window, is a cracked and discolored stone sink.
To the right of the sink, a small, closed wooden cupboard is fixed to the wall about five feet above floor level.
Against the far wall, a flight of wooden stairs leads upward from west to east; the woodwork of the staircase is decayed, and a few of the treads are missing.
Reg stays with the group and keeps an eye out for trouble (darkvision should help seeing down those hallways). He has his sword and shield out and is ready to race towards any enemy that may manifest.

At the top of these steps you see another set of steps that lead to another level of the house, but only the first six steps are solid. The remaining steps are broken and lay in a pile below the opening in the ceiling. The landing on this floor leads around a narrow hallway with more rooms along the side.
This room appears to have been used for storage. A large, ill-made oak chest stands under the window, its lid closed. Elsewhere in the room lie three broken wooden chairs, two splintered wooden buckets, and a mildewed sack. Just inside the door is a heap of clothing; these garments have collected little dust, appearing to have been placed here only recently.
Captain Blackhand: Looking past the others as they peer inside the room, Beric starts forward when he notices the heap of clothing. Grabbing Reginald by the shoulder, he says excitedly, "Ho! Me thinks a trap, matey! Lemme 'ave a look now... Ye all might be wantin' to take a few steps back."

The captain slowly moves toward the pile of clothing, fully aware of his surroundings and looking for any hint of line or trigger, he slowly uses the tip of his cutless to lift the top article of clothing on the pile. You see a shirt that is in good condition and not old like the other items of the house. You continue to move the clothing and see a pair of trousers in like condition and some well made boots. In the boot is a small dagger. No traps are evident in or under the pile of clothing.
Captain Blackhand: Beric quickly rummages through the pockets of the clothing, placing the Dagger into his own boot as he searches the rest of the room. Confused, he says, "If it ain't a trap... There be somebody runnin' around 'ere naked?"
Drawing his Cutlass and Shortsword, the Pirate begins searching for anyone hiding in the room while collecting any loot he discovers.
Reg continues to keep watch, glad that the pile of clothes didn’t manifest as a trap or some strange haunt.
”Let me know when you are ready to move on to the next room, Captain,” says Reg, somewhat wearily due to the late hour, adding with a wry smile, “perhaps there is a naked ghost on the loose down the next hallway looking for its lost knickers...”

Sorry about that, here is the current map with where you have already explored in the ground floor thus far.

Elias moves 1 square north and opens the door on the left
OOC-Missed the previous post so:
Elias will move due north and try that door.

Keric will take up the 3rd spot in the line going up the stairs. He casts Guidance on Shaul to help with his next check.
Elias will take the 4th spot in line then.
