“Silas, friend, isn’t that you’re three legged creature there in the hall?” Sickle gestures toward the thing they fought when they found Silas, now lying dead in the hallway ahead, felled by the trap in the hallway. “As long as the gargoyles don’t try to drop us off a cliff...”
After their rest, Sickle, will rise and prepare his spells, check his gear, hand out goodberries to everyone for purposes of reviving someone, then examine the hallway for whatever might be the trigger for the trap ahead.
"Let's see, tried to use the cloak to get out that trap. Ended up in some strange room with a face like that dwarf's mask. Pulled some levers with our undead comrade, which proceed to draw me into itself before placing me here. I had to fight off that dwarf who knocked me off an edge. Met a lizard friend who helped me out of a room guard by Gargoyles and to the door where we met up," Silas summarized, "What did you guys do in the meanwhile?"

Badger tries to process all that information from Silas before replying. The room where we left you opened again eventually but was apparently a false entrance. We found an amulet in the hallway with the statues, which led us to the true entrance, which was immediately followed by that spiked pit. Badger thinks for a moment whether he left out any important details, then asks: So what happened to Mandra? And who is this lizard friend? Badger thinks briefly of his familiar Yertle, who he hasn't seen in a while.

“We also all rested briefly. I tried to dig back in for you. Badger tried some things. We couldn’t find you so we decided to try to find our way in. Also, I’m pretty sure I saw a lizard run out through one of those cracks.“
Badger, Mal, Sickle, Silas, and Grenk move down the passageway. The quest that has driven them here feels nearing its end. How large could this under ground complex be? With trepidation they realize that soon they may be facing a creature who is powerful enough to devour souls from the entire world. What could have created such a horrific effect, and how powerful must it be having devoured so many souls.
Mal sneaks forward. Knowing the creature has been peppered with darts she spots holes in both walls along the passage. Expecting pressure plates, she examines the hallway and spots the stone panels that obviously set the traps. She points them out to the rest of the group who step around them. You pass by the dead three legged disgusting creature who is smelling very ripe by now, not helped by the bits of dead flesh all over it.
You reach the T junction and the demons face carved into the wall with it’s open mouth showing only blackness. To the left the hallway extends thirty feet. Half way down a rusted iron grate is set into the corridor floor. You hear the sound fo flowing water coming from it’s depths. At the end of the hallway the passage ends in a large crystal wall that peers through into darkness into another room. To the right the passage goes 30 feet and then the hallway opens up into an open area that must view down to a deeper area. A bannister blocks the way and their appears to be both walkways to the left and right, the bannister stretching both ways.Silas points that way, “I went that way. It’s a long way down, i got pushed by that dead three legged creature.”

"I am not sure which way we go, but if we go the direction that Silas points at least we have some inclination of what to expect. And that crystal wall over there disturbs me." Mal says quietly.
Badger agrees with Mal, and prepares to go right. He will use the helm's Detect Thoughts ability to be on alert for any sentient creature within 30' of the party.

Grenk gave a huff. He disliked all this maze stuff. He somewhat admires the person who first thought up a maze but he thought it was all a form of cowardice. Turning back to his friends he shrugged and said, "right it is then... ya know I once heard if you ran your hand along one wall whether it is rigbt or left and just walked the whole maze like that yoh would eventually reach the exit. Ya think that is true?"
Badger thinks for a moment and then responds: Unless the exit were in the center of the maze, then yes that would work. But we are not looking for the exit.

As the group goes to turn to the right, Badger extends his thoughts out with his magical glittering helm. As he does so, Badger detects the murky presence of some creature...the thoughts seem to be emerging from the mouth of the demons wherein lies complete darkness. He focus' on them for a moment, "Prey....prey approaches...come closer small thing...I see your sparkling eyes...come to me prey...." A shiver runs up Badgers spine.
Meanwhile, Mal has crept down the passage to the right. Silas' speaks a word and a white pure light emanates from his holy symbol, casting a white glow around the space.
As Mal reaches the end of the hallway it opens up in to a large room. As she emerges into the room Silas' light casts it's dim glow all the way across, 50 feet to the far side. A walkway with a bannister surrounds the opening in the this room which plunges down into darkness below. The stone balcony winds around the walls to connect four archways. Other balcony levels are visible below, with corridors radiating off in all directions. To the left, a stone staircase descends to the lower levels.
To your left you see a narrow hallway leads away from the corner. Following the balcony around the corner leads to the stairs down. On the far side of this room you see a ten foot wide hallway that leads away. You'd have to follow the balcony around the right side of the room to reach it. In the far left corner another narrow hallway leads away.
A plaque on the far wall is made of bronze and reads as follows, again in common rather than ancient Omuan like most everything else in the city :
Here's a map. Badger remains near the red circle where he's staring at the demon face on the wall. The blue dot is where Silas is. Ignore the skull symbol, you don't see anything there, and there's no reason to spend extra time checking for traps in that spot.

Badger tries to tell the others to "Watch out for the demon faces, there is something inside" but it comes out at little more than a mumble. Still listening for more words from the face, he casts Mage Hand and pushes the magic hand into the mouth to see what happens, and to see whether there is anything inside.

The spectral mage hand floats into the darkness. Badger has some sense of where it is, but, like making it push through a wall, you can't get any sensation from it so you have no idea what it's touching or doing without watching it.
Mal creeps forward, her feet scuffing ever so quietly on the ground as she peers over the bannister and down into the darkness below. In the dim light cast from Silas she can see bannisters line all four walls of the main chamber, leading to the stairs up, and another set on the far side leading down. On the right of the floor below she sees the dim outline of a door and she hears some strange gnashing noises. Three oval holes are carved into a nine-foot-wide, nine-foot-high stone door at human head height. There are also two narrow hallways leading away from the bannisters below.
As for the hallway on this floor at the corner, Mal listens carefully. It's quiet, as quiet as a tomb....but...wait...somewhere down the long hallway that stretches off into darkness she hears a faint scuff, movement, but then it's again quiet.
