Kasaaptu will cast bonfire on the ground in front of her hammock, closer then most people would be able to tolerate, but since tiefling are resistant to fire, she will take advantage of that trait. She will have Krull aid Hamma by loosing his lead so he can run the bugs off. Krull will ride on Hamma to keep from losing him

Sir Darak Darak: Circling around the perimeter of light created by his ally's spells, Darak once again unleashes a bolt of black energy at the insects.
Yroc's flames sweep across the ground. The centipedes seem to flee the area, trying to get away, especially when the crackling and popping starts to happen. The result is that the swarms have thinned out considerably in the area of the flame. You can see the ground now through the bugs, in that spot. Then an actual real bonfire appears, the sound of small bugs exploding in the heat can be heard. (Dex save: 21. Possible damage: 7 )
The swarms swell away from the heat and crackling flames.
Hammu's bonds are cut by Krull and he immediately bolts, with Krull clinging to it's packs, as the centipedes continue to swarm around his legs. Attack: 17 Damage: 10
Sir Darak let's loose a blast of energy which strikes a huge clump of centipedes, sending bits of bugs spraying in all directions. The swarm seems a bit smaller after he's struck them.

Krull will start to eat the centipedes on Hamma and Kassaptu will cast another bonfire near him this time, close enough to singe the bugs but not burn him badly and she will ask silas to heal the poison if possible when the centipedes get burned off. Disgusting bugs...( why are you beating on poor Hamma? He didnt do nothing to you...lol)
The flashes of real fire flicker in Yroc's eyes, and with dismay he watches the beast of burden suffering under the assault of the insect swarms. Seeing the initial plan having effect, he moves the imaginary flames to cover Hammu instead, to keep it safe from harm rather than the ground underneath his hammock.
Mechanics:
Turn: Action: Move the Silent Image flames to envelop Hammu's body. Move: - Bonus: -
Badger sees Hamma struggling under the attack from the centipedes, but it unwilling to leave the safety of his hammock. Drawing his familiar from his beard, he whispers to it briefly then lowers it to the ground. It scurries toward Hamma and climbs onto a part of the dinosaur's body not swarming with centipedes. Badger focuses his mind and channels his protective spell through his familiar onto the dinosaur.
(Yertle moves to Hamma (can familiar Dash if necessary?). Badger casts Mage Armor on Hamma, and Yertle uses reaction to deliver the spell.)

Silas, you can't attack effectively from your hammock. You'll have to jump to the ground to crush the bugs with your warhammer. Do you?
The illusionary flames sweep over Hammu, sending the critters fleeing away. Then real flame appears next to Hammu in the nearest largest clump of bugs as a fire erupts. (Dex save: 12 Possible damage: 3)
Krull leaps into the illusory flames and begins grabbing and eating centipedes as the scuttle about Hammu's body.

Silas will jump down, i know it's probably bad idea For what it's worth his armor is off but he would keep his boots on.

Yes, still a lizard. Sorry, I was picturing the centipedes in three groups, thinking he had a clear path. Um ... well if he can get there with just a move, then move + disengage will work. If not, then he can take 2 rounds of move + disengage, and Badger will use the first round action to Fire Bolt any centipede swarms in his path. (I'd Mage Armor a PC but I don't think it would help anyone. Not sure if any NPCs are in peril - just didn't want the pack animal to die. Badger probably cares more about the beast of burden than the paladin's squire TBH)

The lizard hops and scuttles avoiding centipedes and their bites as he leaps onto Hammu (move + disengage works, the camp isn't so big), and delivers the magical energy of protection onto Hammu.
Badger looks away from Hammu for a moment and notices Boris staring at him from his hammock across the camp, his dead eyes full of malice. Badger blinks, Boris is staring at horror at the ground, his body rigid in fear. Hmm, must have been his imagination.

Sickle is having a fitful dream of his own about giant spiders and massive spiderwebs and his companions falling around him as they one by one are poisoned and fall silent. Then suddenly, each of them, then all together, are screaming and he hears the anguished cries of a dinosaur and he realizes it’s not coming from the figures in his dream, as his eyes snap open to fire and the swarming, writhing jungle floor.
He glances around wildly, trying to assess the situation, then sees the others focused on the fallen form of Hamma away from the camp, throwing various fiery spells their way. He growls something in Orc, his hand lights up with flame, and he flings a mote Of fire and the centipedes near the animal.

Sir Darak Darkhall: Continuing to lead as many of the insects as possible along the perimeter, Darak hurls yet another blast of dark energy at the largest remaining mass of Centipedes.
Flames and blasts of dark energy smash into the swarms, thinning their numbers as they crawl around the camp scurrying away from all the real and fake fire. Then, as quickly as they'd arrived, they scurry into crevices, into tiny burrows and off into the jungle, leaving the jungle floor of the camp littered with charred and crushed bodies of hundreds of centipedes.
Boris screams. His short strangled scream for no apparent reason other than his horror, turns into sobs as he lays back into his hammock, absently swiping at his own face and flinching at random. Gregory hops out of his hammock, waving a hand to Sir Darak and the rest of camp, and begins whispering to him quietly.
Hammu lays, unmoving, but alive. It seems, similar to the spider poison, to have been paralyzed, even after healing some of the many bites.
Azaka sighs heavily, laying back in her hammock, and mutters, "Welcome to the jungle."
It is easy for the party to reflect on the horrors of this cursed land and feel a sense of dread now at their journey. Every day has brought a new challenge, and searching the massive expanse of jungle that is the Chult peninsula could take a life time. A short, horror filled lifetime. And you haven't even technically come face to face with any of the undead or aggressive dinosaurs that they're known for. Rest is furtive, with thoughts of squirming insects, overly large arachnids, and clinging webs.
The next morning talk is subdued and the the camp breaks in relative silence. Boris, still shaken, seems to be staying close to Gregory, unaware of the disappointing looks from Sir Darak, and the pitying looks from the rest of the company. The heat climbs and it's a hot humid day as you trudge through the jungle. The river here is somewhat smaller and tributaries are as well, making finding places to cross easier, and your pace increases. The swampy areas are less frequent, though there are some thick patches of jungle that require cutting through. In the afternoon the company is flown over by what seems to be thousands and thousands of bats that darken the sky. The creatures pay no heed to the group as they fly past. The night comes and the group sets camp, a day without much trouble aside from the heat, and the lack of rain.
The morning comes and the next day proceeds, much as the last, hot, humid, but no rain. Azaka takes you up a low hill, and takes a moment to climb up a tree. She comes down, looking satisfied, and nods to the group. "Firefinger. We've arrived. If you wish to get a good look at it, you'll want to climb a tree. The rest of the approach is in thick jungle and can be challenging to get a good look at it until we're quite close."
For those that take a moment to climb to the tree tops in the distance you see, rising above the jungle, a 300 foot tall spire of rock. It has smoke issuing from a tiny flame on top of it. The walls of the spire are sheer and dotted with small caves. From this distance, it looks like it has tiny strands of something hanging down the sides. Azaka explains that they're frail ladders that hang from narrow ledges at various heights.
From here you notice dark shapes that spiral in the sky above the rock, often swooping to land, or flying from various caves. The Pterafolk.
The group figures the canopy is probably thick enough to hide an approach to the rock. Probably.
