Silas let out a war cry before gripping his warhammer with both hands, striking with his warhammer and striking again if zombie is still alive with War Priest. If dead, he'll heal himself with healing word.

Silas, gripping his hammer with both hands, raises it over his head, the stained dirt covered hammer sending flicks of rotten flesh and a chunk of bone flying off it's face as it reaches its peak before Silas brings it down, the hammer cracking into the spine of the creature on the ground in front of him, and crushing a good number of ribs and the things upper pelvis to dust. It stops moving.
Sir Darak, his blade shrouded in green flame slashes it into the zombie, the green flame leaping across to the remnants of the plant creature which gets coated in green flame, the fire consuming the last of the creature, leaving only black charred dust. The zombie stumbles, but continues to fight.
Badger launches a fire bolt into one of the last remaining zombies, setting its arm ablaze in a greasy black smoke exuding stench.
Kasaaptu unleashes a purple skull of energy that slams into one of the zombies fighting Yroc right after it gets one final attack on him: Attack: 7 Damage: 2. The blast from Kasaaptu strikes it, exploding off its head and left arm as the remnants of the creature drops to the ground.
The other zombies all get one last shot in. Yroc: Attack: 11 Damage: 5. Sickle: Attack: 16 Damage: 5. and Sir Darak: Attack: 18 Damage: 4.
The remaining couple of zombies are made quick work of as the combined party forces destroy them.
The air is filled with the smoke of burning bushes and burning zombies, the flames all slowly dying in the moist jungle air, but sending plenty of smoke pluming around the area. The other two zombies have escaped, and don't seem to be returning, having slunk off into the woods. The plant creature is a mass of burned dead matter, the few yellow flowers or vines around that had been part of it's large network are wilting and flopping, their spore sacks empty, the body they belong to dead.
Looking around, the group sees numerous dead bodies in various states of decay all around the area. In all cases their skulls are partially exploded. The vine creatures in the zombies you've killed and not burned sit in the skull, their tendrils squirming about slowly, dying as their host body has been destroyed. Kasaaptu and Badger move around ensuring they kill the mass of green matter that is growing out of their brains.
Breathing heavily, wiping sweat from brows, and examining deep gouges or bite marks in each other, the group is left in relative silence. Sedrik emerges from the jungle, looking around. "Oh good. You've survived. Sounded like quite the caffufle. Eeeew....what is that stench?" Azaka strides up beside him, glancing around. She takes in the smoking charred bodies and jungle scene with cool indifference.
After dispatching the spawn of the yellow flower, Badger does a quick circuit of the ruins, making sure there are no more yellow flower plants, and searching for anything of value or interest.
Badger wanders around the ruins. The stone ruins stretch over an areas several dozen yards long. However it has long since been reduced to small walls and sections of jungle covered cobbles. Aside from the well, he sees nothing of interest in his quick circuit. A look down the well shows the creatures vines stretched down the fifteen feet to the surface of the water. The surface of the water is about ten feet down from the low edge of the 8 foot wide well. The water is murky with growth, but the top of a skull, partially exploded, sits just at the top of the water level, so it can't be that deep.

Yroc spits thick wads of bloody mucus on the zombies at his feet, growling in anger and distaste, then wordlessly moves over to Silas to recieve healing. He'd been weak on his knees before Sickle came up to him, but now, with Silas' help, he was feeling strength in his bones again. He still looks battered and bloody, but strong, exhilarated from the fight. He gives the other warriors a nod of respect at holding their flank, and at the mages for dispatching many as well.
"Anything on their bodies that would be useful to us?" he asks, sitting himself down on the middle of the path for a few minutes just to catch his breath.
After drinking some water and eating a snack Kasaaptu will also take a look around the ruins to check for anything clues or treasures maybe dropped by the poor souls that become plant zombies
Sir Darak Darkhall: Wiping blood and plant guts from his blade, Darak remarks, "Well fought my friends. Yroc, you stood your ground well. Allow Tyr to bless you." Placing his hand upon the Orc's shoulder, a white light emanates from the Paladin's open palm.

Thoroughly searching the zombie corpses and the surrounding ruins for loot, Darak lights a torch and ignites anything even slightly resembling the flower they'd only just slew. Finally, turning his attention to the well, he asks, "Kasaaptu, perhaps your familiar could explore the well for anything of value?"

The group kicks around the ruins, picking through skeletons, finding the occasional rusted weapon that they examine to make sure it's just junk. You find nothing of interest in the ruins until Krull flaps down to the well, and stops, clinging on to a vine, standing against one wall in order to look into the water at the bottom. The skeleton that sits in the shallow water has something clutched in its hand. It's under 3 feet of water. It appears to be a short stick, round, maybe 2 and a half feet long, symbols and designs are carved into its otherwise featureless length. Krull grabs the rod, feeling magic tingling in his hand as he flaps back up and carries the thing to the group, dropping it in the loam at people's feet. It's copper in color.
Sickle asks, "Are we safe enough here to rest or should we press on a while?" Seeing the rod dropped at their feet, he'll muse, "Hmm...Badger any idea what this is?"
Sir Darak Darkhall: Nodding at the suggestion of rest, Darak says, "Yes, I believe a short rest is in order before we continue our journey." The Knight takes Sedrik to the side, continuing his training while they have a spare moment.
