“Could be. I can take a peek at it.” Gimble says as he walks over to the door.
Investigation 14 Perception 14 Slight of Hand 10
(OOC didn’t know what kinda roll yad need here)
@ Gimble, (OOC: investigation is fine for checking traps, unless i ask for a different check in the future. and i wouldn't allow a second perception check so close to you rolling one also unless i say otherwise.) You can find no traps on the door, but the door itself is locked. (OOC: @ everyone, unless anyone contests it, no one saw you inspect the door due to your slight of hand roll. so to the party it looked like Gimble was just staring at the door for a few minutes)
@ everyone, (OOC: what next?)

“Well, yeah, but it’s locked. Um, want to bash it open, knock on it and see what happens, or, try to unlock it? My vote is for knocking. I’m in this get up, and it worked before, why not again?” Gimble says in hushed tones.
Casmir nods, moves to the side (so that anyone opening the door won't see him at first) and stands there ready to jump in front of Gimble in case things go south.
Casmir moves to the front of the door, takes a step back for balance, draws his foot back and... stops mid-kick, turns to Gimble and asks "Wait, can you open it without making a lot of noise?"
(OOC: Insight: 8 Casmir is not exactly a genius but he is insightful. Sometimes.)
"Yes, a quieter opening of the door would be best..." Misty says, having just noticed the almost-attempt to kick it in. "we don't want to draw a large group on us at once after all..."
Misty bumps the new guy with a hip. "Don't worry, I think we all want to get this done and over with..." She gives him a friendly smile, then goes back to keeping an eye out for any threats.
Gimble smiles....”Well sure, if you can’t just kick it open I can certainly try a quieter method,” Gimble says with a smirk and turns towards the door.

@ Gimble, (OOC: if you are trying to lock pick the door, give me a lock pick check [d20 plus your proficiency modifier]. i will remind the party they looted a key earlier.)
@ everyone, (OOC: from my understanding everyone is keeping watch while gimble lock picks the door, with some exception of people preparing an attack for when the door is open.)

“Ah, ok, thanks.” Gimble proceeds to attempt the key.
@ Gimble, you try the key and the door unlocks with a sounding click. As you open the door you can see that there is no bandits inside. what you do see is, Racks of weapons line the walls of this chamber, including spears, swords, crossbows, and bolts. A dozen dirty red cloaks hang from hooks by the door. The weapon racks hold twelve spears, six shortswords, four longswords, six light crossbows, and eight quivers holding twenty crossbow bolts each. The room appears to be a storage room or armory of some sort for the bandits.

"So... Is it safe to open?" Casmir asks Gimble after a few expectant moments.
“Well, yeah, but it’s locked. Um, want to bash it open, knock on it and see what happens, or, try to unlock it? My vote is for knocking. I’m in this get up, and it worked before, why not again?” Gimble says in hushed tones.

Gerrack readies an action to attack anything hostile that emerges through the door from the shadows.
Once the group kinda gets the message, Gimble will make sure his daggers are ready for a quick grab, and then he will knock.
Gniff will stand with Gimble to help sell the ruse.
@ Gimble, no response

Casmir, after waiting not very patiently for a response, motions to his foot and whispers "I have a universal key right here"
Gimble steps aside.
Casmir moves to the front of the door, takes a step back for balance, draws his foot back and... stops mid-kick, turns to Gimble and asks "Wait, can you open it without making a lot of noise?"

"Conundrums, well whomever decides to take a crack at it I will ensure they receive Guidance from Silvanus," Gniff says watching with interest.
"Yes, a quieter opening of the door would be best..." Misty says, having just noticed the almost-attempt to kick it in. "we don't want to draw a large group on us at once after all..."
Sheepishly, Casmir moves back to his side position, and re-readies to jump in when needed.
Misty bumps the new guy with a hip. "Don't worry, I think we all want to get this done and over with..." She gives him a friendly smile, then goes back to keeping an eye out for any threats.
