"Enemies..." Misty says with a soft whisper back to the group, nodding to the door the laughing voices came from. "Kitchen, maybe..." She says next, nodding to the other door. She waits to see what the group plans, but would nod to the enemy door as her pick of which to go through.
"The r-r-rattling I hear w-w-worries me," Gerrack admits to the others, nodding at the room producing the sound. "P-perhaps they have a p-pet s-snake on h-hand... or are t-torturing one for e-entertainment." His feathers stand up a little straighter. "O-or more s-skeletons...."
He leans in to the other door, and his eyes widen. "K-kitchen? O-or maybe t-t-terrible m-monsters of s-slime and g-g-goo, and o-oily p-pits of d-despair," he adds, ever the optimist. "W-we should l-look there f-first, m-maybe m--make some n-noise if it's n-nothing and d-draw the g-guards into t-that r-room as a t-trap. If it's s-s-something, we m-might make n-noise anyways, s-so let's be r-r-ready."
@ Misty, You try to open the door, and surprisingly it is unlocked. (OOC: assuming you enter the room, read the following), As you enter the room, you can see a rat scurrying across the floor and then out of sight. What is in sight is a large worktable set up with alembics, retorts, distillation coils, and other alchemical devices, all of it stewing and bubbling away. Bookshelves are crowded with sheaves of parchment and strange-looking tomes.

Gundren's location is likely at the Goblin Castle or the Goblin Castle is the best place to look for that information. @ Gimble, You aren't sure what kind of potions or the goal of the bandits work with this equipment is, perhaps someone more knowledgeable on the subject could figure it out. You look over the scraps of paper and the books, and you find several notes about the potion brewing, who ever is working on this seems to be frustrated and trying all sorts of things. As for the books, you do not understand what language they are written in, assuming it is a language and not a code or just gibberish.
Casmir enters the room and looks around, checking if there are any other doors in the room. Specifically, where did that rat scamper to, a hole in the wall? Are there other rats?

He moves away from the door he entered through and tries to position himself so he can see all entrances, if possible. He's not particularly interested in the alchemic paraphernalia.

There are only two ways into this room, the doorway the party entered, and a closed door to the right of the doorway you entered from. You can also see Gimble looking over the alchemy equipment and some books and papers.
