@ everyone, Thick dust covers the flagstones of this somber hallway. The walls are decorated with faux columns every ten feet. the double doors that were just opened are sheathed in copper plate, now green with age. If you look at the other side of them there is a relief carving of a mournful angel graces the doors.
@ Gimble and Misty, You both see a pit trap in the middle of the hallway is hidden under a false floor consisting of loose stone tiles laid atop breakaway timbers. You both also spot that someone could potentially skirt around the trap by walking along a narrow ledge next to the wall.

"Should we have one, maybe two, skirt the trap and check the next door?" Misty suggests. "NO reason for everyone to go, if the next door leads no where of interest..."
"Maybe we should set off the trap so we can have a better grasp of it's dimensions? We could also use rope, but I will stay here and cover with my bow," the little halfling says, his voice lacking the cowardice tone the line seems to speak of.
Gimble walks over to trap. He bellies down and crawls to the loose floor tiles. Pulling out a sword, he attempts to wedge under and intentionally topple or push them causing them to set the trap off.
"A-are you not w-worried that the t-t-trap will make n-n-noise and a-alert who is l-left here of our p-presence?" Gerrack asks nervously as he watches Gimbel work.
“Well, I don’t think we really have a choice. I guess I could try to just take one loose tile off to see how deep this pit is, but it could all still crumble anyways. So unless there’s is a way for us all to float over this, I don’t see another way.”
Gimble will not do anything further without the groups vote.

@ Gimble, You start working your sword under the tile. You manage to get it underneath, and try to trigger the trap. At first it just wiggles and nothing snaps...

@ Gimble and Gerrack, After hearing Gerrack's concern, You stop wiggling your sword. As you pull out your sword you hear a click but the trap does not seem to move.
@ everyone, (OOC: let me know what you are going to do next.) (OOC 2: Gimble proposes a vote, so please vote whether you want to trigger the floor trap or not. Sildar will provide a tie breaker if there is a tie.)

Gimble points out the trap to the group.
“Danger ahead guys, but there’s a work around, shall we?”
"Should we have one, maybe two, skirt the trap and check the next door?" Misty suggests. "NO reason for everyone to go, if the next door leads no where of interest..."
"I'll go", volunteers Casmir. "Just stick to the walls, right?"
(OOC: does the relief carving have a religious meaning? Religion 17 Also, do I need to roll Dex to go around the trap?)
From what you can tell it likely does but it is so worn and damaged you can't tell specifically to which god or religious organization it belongs to.
(OOC: yes, give me an acrobatics check.)
