Mars - searching for light source, you manage to find some bioluminescent green moss growing along the stalagmite that comprises the armory. This moss sheds dim light in a 5ft area.
Drow perception (rolling with disadvantage, as previously occupied by the monsters) 4
The drow are so occupied in the frenzied battle none appear to notice you. The group makes it across the bridge and into the armory without a challenge.
In the stalagmite, there are many carved balconies from which the rest of the outpost can be observed. Higher up in the structure are three drow, firing crossbows as passing monsters. With a monstrous shriek and a scream of terror, one of them is ripped from their post by a flying beast. They are in no position to notice you.
On your level is a single drow, flipping through a tome with a panicked expression, repeatedly muttering "There must be something!"
Also on your current level, the walls are lined with shelves upon shelves, stocked high with equipment.
Daerthe - Your eyes immediately fall upon sets of studded leather armor. There appear to be chain shirts, and plenty of weapons as well, but a full search may be required to get a total inventory of the room's contents.
Daerthe will move to begin putting on the studded leather if it fits her well enough, before she will then begin to look for any weapons that will fit her needs.
Mars joins in the piling on without thinking, growling and reaching out to cast chill touch at the surprised guard. She tries to keep out of the guard's immediate range, with the capable Tuma between herself and the adversary.
The ghostly hand flies at the guard's face, palm first. To hit: 8 Damage: 8 (necrotic)

Investigation: 11
The complete contents of the armory are:
While you are searching, you do catch the attention of the young drow on your level. He jumps, dropping his book, and stutters "P-pa-prisoners!"
the drow will be effectively surprised this turn, (going to stick with previous initiative count)
Drow initiative: 19
The NPCs will not gain the benefit of this surprise round, every PC will.
Daerthe will start us off.
(Just noting that Tanser would make sure he ended up with the key once everyone had been unchained.)
(Sounds good, he has the key.)
(This is if she can get the armor on in time.)
Daerthe is going grab a shortsword and then rush towards the Drow, attempting to slash at him quickly.
Shortsword: Attack: 11 Damage: 9
Daerthe - the half-drow's swing barely misses the drow mage, who flinches with a squeal.
Tuma, you're next.
"Oh gods, more fighting. Okay..." Tuma will rush to drow Daerthe is fighting with flying kicks.
Unarmed strike 1: Attack: 10 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
Number 2: Attack: 22 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
(Here's the damage if it doesnt fix itself 6 4)
Tuma - while your first attack misses, the second strikes true, right in the unfortunate drow's face.
Mars is up.
Mars - the spectral hand flies by the drow without a hit as he ducks, eyes wide with terror.
Alivia ‘s turn.
Grabbing one of the shortsword Alivia moves to the doorway looking if they've been heard
(Perception if you want it) 4
You don’t see any reinforcements arriving, nor any drow looking your direction. They appear to be too busy fighting the monsters.
Ooc question:
Sorry to be a pest at all! Whose turn is it currently? My apologies if this is impatient, I'm unsure what the ideal pace is (if there even is one)
