Rigel realizes that in spite of not hearing a reply from Vanzaran he also doesn't hear any commotion coming from the cavern opening. He can only surmise that this must mean Klarg has fled the battle. With a moment of respite upon them he turns to the welfare of his companions. Moving over Ronk, Rigel quips " Heh, never thought I'd be trying to save one instead of putting it down"

Vanzaren sighs, pulling the rope from his bag and using it to tie the goblin up. Once that is done he moves around the room, looking through the various crates and bags to see if there is anything interesting.
Garet will spend 'free time' drying wolfs meat. He will also sit next to goblin and will speak in his language (Goblin) something like: 'I am very sorry mister gobiln that we have to hurt your mates. Unfortunately they did not want to surrender. It was very wise that you did it. Would you be so kind and share informations about dwarf we are looking in exchange of your life and some food ration?'
(OOC: @Garet - please make a Charisma (Persuasion) roll vs. DC 11, which you can make with advantage if you are giving the goblin a ration from your inventory.)
While Garet tries to convince the terrified goblin to share some useful information, Vanzaren and Rigel discover a small chest among the various boxes, crates and barrels:
a jade statuette of a frog with tiny golden orbs for eyes (small enough to fit in a pocket)
Sacks and crates are piled up in the south end of this large chamber, most of which are marked with the image of a blue lion. Vanzaren figures that this is more than a month’s worth of looted provisions from ambushed caravans.
Stopit finally relents and shares a few bits of what he has overheard during the past several days:
Klarg answers to King Grol, chief of the Cragmaw tribe, who dwells in Cragmaw Castle, which is about twenty miles northeast of their current location in Neverwinter Wood.
A messenger sent by King Grol told Klarg that someone named the Black Spider was paying the Cragmaws to watch out for the dwarf Gundren Rockseeker, capture him, and send him and anything he was carrying back to King Grol. Klarg followed orders and Gundren was ambushed and taken along with his personal effects, including a map.
The dwarf and his map were delivered to King Grol, as instructed but the dwarf’s human companion is being held in the “eating cave” in the western section of the cave.
”Me eats now?” says the goblin to Garet once he is done spilling everything he knows.

Comcluding his search and finally able to get ahold of the arrow potruding from his back, Rigel lets out a grunt of pain as he pulls it free. Slumping down against the wall near the "feeding chute" he takes a short rest as he waits for Ronk and Marcon to recover. When he rises he feels a bit better.
Marcon slowly but surely begins to stir wherever folk decided to have left the young man to rest. Jolted to full alertness upon incidently pulling at an injury, he looks around frantically for a moment while at least one hand fished around for his axe. Whether he finds it or not, the rancher tries to scramble into a defensive crouch, eyes wide and panting erratically until once still blurry shapes resolved themselves into familiar figures.
"Ho-boi~ Ain't gonna lie. Once it started goin' dark I got to fear'n I'd be meet'n Lord Helm soon."He confesses after falling back on his ass, and lets out a tired chuckle. For the next hour at least, unless questioned or prodded, Marcon is content just to focus on catching his breathe, and treating his injuries using the Healer's Kit in his satchel.

Ronk groans as he comes to. He starts to sit up, winces in pain, then opts to roll onto his stomach before getting up on all fours, crawling to the nearest wall and collapsing against it to sit up. "I think I understand why people don't like bugbears..." He falls quiet, closes his eyes and seems to be meditating or sleeping. Maybe both.
Garet open his backpack and shares portions of his daily food with goblin.
OOC: As goblin lanugage is quite basic surprisingly Garet does not stutter when he speaks in it
'So mr Stopit. Maybe you could help us a little in this dungeon? If you navigate us we will give you more tasty food. If you fight on our side we could give you even gold! If you go with us i will protect you'
Between mouthfuls of Garet’s ration (practically a culinary masterpiece by goblinoid standards) Stopit nods in violent agreement to help at the mention of food, gold and protection.
”Yeemik haves hooman,” declares Stopit, crumbs spilling as he speaks. “He cook hooman soon. You like taste of hooman?” Not sure of what firbolgs actually eat, (other than hard tack and wolf jerky) the goblin’s question to Garet is one of sincere curiosity.
”Yeemik have six cousins. They across bridge...,” he trails off for a brief moment and then perks back up: “You have nice bugbear...is he sick?”
"I will not abide him coming with us. You can leave him tied here and return for him or I can dispatch him now. Your choice. But either way we've been still too long. Lets go find this human and make sure he's not lunch"
Garet nodes. "Yes, it looks that he has a bad day... Hmm no we do not eat humans..well..usually.. Just forest animals if we can hunt them without destroying herd. For us it is important to protect balance of nature. Lets switch to languagr of humans"
Garet shares all information that Goblin gave him and that he will fallow them for a while
"Oh come on, what's the harm in him coming along,"Vanzaren shrugs, "I doubt he's going to harm us." He pockets the frog statue and starts counting out the coin. "Who wants a healing potion?"
Stopit looks at Garet in bewilderment, his eyes welling up with tears: “You kill Stopit? Please no do it. Stopit good goblin now. I carry things...fetch waters...feed horse? You say protect Stopit! You says that! Please no kill....”
His gaze darts back and forth desperately from Garet to Rigel as the decision is considered.

Rigel is able to remove the javelin from Ronk’s abdomen and stabilize the friendly bugbear.
(OOC: Ronk is stable and will regain consciousness with 1 HP in 5 hours, unless healed sooner with potions or magic.)
As Garet reappears he will move to Marcon and drag him back to the group
Now stabilized Ronk's breathing gets less ragged. He begins to snore, not all that quietly.
Vanzaren sighs, pulling the rope from his bag and using it to tie the goblin up. Once that is done he moves around the room, looking through the various crates and bags to see if there is anything interesting.
